If There is a Hell
Author\'s note: Flames are very welcome. I get so few of them that I\'m feezing in Delaware.
If there is a hell,
Eternal foe of hope,
Ashes of sinners past,
May it burn fiery and bright,
As the great morningstar\'s light.
Let the foulest of demons rejoice,
Gluttons of human despair,
Cruelest hosts of hatred,
Dance about graves,
As gay knaves.
If there is a hell,
Let none who art righteous,
Escape its golden flame,
Teach us all shame.
Gay- as in happy
Knaves- fiends, bad people
Shame- humiliation; a virture
If there is a hell,
Eternal foe of hope,
