It was a dark night in February. Not cold, but very dark, as if the whole world was engulfed in warm, black velvet. No stars were visible in the sky. No flaring aurora and hardly any snow on the ground, just darkness. Malakel had placed lanterns on the porch to keep the blackness at bay; he liked to do that sometimes, it was for Xinan as well, so he would feel welcome when he came back from his nightly wanderings. Today he had put red and pink candles in the lanterns, it was Valentine\'s day after all, and even if kittens didn\'t know or care much about that, Malakel knew and he cared...
He had been a little insecure about how much effort he should put into the celebration. He had bought roses, that was true. Though he didn\'t know if he should present them as a gift because he already had some high quality catnip, salmon, cream and a velvet collar ready for the cat. He thought he would make sushi and had picked some wine for himself, so in any case they\'d probably have a nice evening. Truth be told he was a little insecure about Xinan; where the lover ended and the cat began. Their relationship had changed much, and after the Vampire-Christmas incident, Xinan had behaved almost like a protective boyfriend, watching over him with his sulfur eyes. So maybe it wouldn\'t be that much out of line to treat him to a special Valentine\'s day...
As he stood in the kitchen preparing rice for their meal, a sudden knock on the door made him startle. Who could it be? Malakel hardly ever had visitors, and especially not at night. Maybe Xinan had forgotten the key?
Malakel licked soy from his fingers and padded out in the hallway, quickly unlocking the door. Upon seeing his visitor however, the little witch froze, thumb still in his mouth. The man on on the other side was doubtlessly familiar, Malakel felt absolutely sure he had seen him before, yet he couldn\'t remember exactly where and when.
\"Hello...?\" He said a little insecure. \"Who are you?\"
\"Hello,\" the stranger that he knew he knew smiled cheerfully. \"My name is Lekalam, and I am your Mr. Right!\"
\"Oh?\" Malakel said confused and wiped his hands on his thighs. \"So...what do you want?\" he asked, staring at the man before him. He was as tall as Malakel, his hair was blond and a little curly, just like his, and his eyes seemed to be a golden brown. That aside he finally saw that it was him, Malakel, the stranger resembled.
\"I...\" Lekalam said and gave him another soft smile, \"have, on this beautiful Valentine\'s night, finally found the young witch of my dreams, and I have come to claim him as my own.\"
\"Oh, \" Malakel said again and scratched his head. \"So are you a witch too then?\"
\"Very much so!\" The stranger lifted one finger in the air and the candle flames suddenly died.
\"Well,\" Malakel said, and made them light up again, \"you better come inside,\" he decided and stepped aside to let his guest into the house. \"Who is that?\" he asked politely when he saw a honey colored, green-eyed cat trailing behind his unexpected guest.
\"That is Nanix,\" Lekalam said. \"He is my cat. He can stay outside for now, if that is all right?\"
\"Of course, \" Malakel shrugged and took his coat, much like his own colorful patchwork one, only with slightly different colors. Seemed *this* witch had a taste for pastels while Malakel liked the brighter hues. Even their shirts were the same, only Malakel\'s was pink and Lekalam\'s violet.
\"Oh! What a lovely place!\" the blond him beamed and took Malakel\'s hand, his eyes caught sight of the two coats hanging side by side. \"It seems we have the same tastes!\" he continued enthusiastically.\"Oh we will have so much fun together!\" He suddenly embraced his host and hugged him tightly. He scented of lavender and cloves, his skin was soft and warm, so at least he wasn\'t a vampire.
\" So...--how did you find me?\" Malakel asked and gently freed himself.
\"It is a gift, no, -a spell,\" Lekalam said. \"I did a spell to find my soulmate, the only man who could make me happy. And it was you!\" he smiled. \"Isn\'t that great?! Oh, we\'ll have such a nice life together!\" he grinned again. \"We\'ll be together forever!\"
\"Really?!\" Malakel felt awkward.
\"Oh yes!\" The other pulled him with him into the kitchen. \"Sushi!\" he beamed. \" I love sushi!\"
\"...I\'m making it...for my cat,\" Malakel blushed. \"He likes things like that!\"
\"Never mind the cat,\" Lekalam lifted some pink fish in the air. \"Now you can make it for me!\" He swallowed it down.
\"Yes...I suppose, \" Malakel gave a reluctant smile. \" Though Xinan will be home any moment now,\" he hoped.
\"Oh, wine! I love wine!\" Lekalam took the wine bottle and the opener and busied himself opening the bottle. \"You must tell me all about you!\" he demanded. \"I need to know all there is to know about my one true love!\"
Malakel lifted the rice off the stove.
\"Is that so?\" he asked nervously. \"I don\'t know what there is to know. I have a rather boring life really!\"
\"What about your father? Any siblings? A mother, right?\"
\"Yes,\" Malakel couldn\'t help but being amused by his eagerness. \"But she got lost in a mirror some years ago.\"
\"Astonishing!\" Lekalam\'s eyes widened. \"My mother got lost as well, she walked into a crystal ball and was gone!\"
\"Really?\" Malakel too though that was kind of weird. \"It\'s really strange that it happened,\" he mused out loud as an afterthought. \"Because she was used to walking in mirrors.\"
\"Really? So was *my* mother, in crystal balls!\"
\"She met my father in the mirror.\"
\"Mine too, in her ball.\"
\"He is a black angel\"
\"Amazing! Mine is white!\"
Now they were both giggling and looking at each other with shiny eyes.
\"We *really* have *so* much in common!\" Lekalam stated.
\"Like we\'ve had the exact same experiences...\"
\"Like we are meant to be! No one can understand us better than us!\" Lekalam smiled. \"Oh Malakel,\" he smiled and put the wine bottle down again. \"I am *so* glad I found you!\" he said affectionately, and Malakel swore he could see tears in his eyes.
Then, while standing there, Malakel suddenly caught sight of something outside the window: A dark, graceful figure was wandering across the garden towards the entrance.
\"It is Xinan, \" he said out loud. \"My cat...he is coming home.\"
Lekalam turned to look.
\"Oh goddess!\" he burst out. \"It\'s a man!\"
\"Yeah,\" Malakel blushed, \"that he is...\"
While they watched, Xinan suddenly stopped, probably upon seeing Nanix on the porch. A hissing sound could be heard from outside. Malakel decided not to interfere, the cats would likely settle things themselves... besides, he had a handful to deal with as it was. Or would that be ”arms full”? Long limbs wound around his waist and pulled him close to a body just as slender and thin as Malakel\'s own. Lekalam\'s breath caressed his skin hotly and Malakel wondered if he was about to kiss him. Then wondered why Xinan didn\'t come inside and if the golden cat was being mean to him. He suddenly startled by feeling Lekalam\'s erection through his pants, pressed firmly against Malakel\'s crotch. That was taking it a bit too fast wasn\'t it? Malakel let out a nervous, shivering breath and tried to smile at the blond.
\"I\'m sorry,\" Lekalam said, sensing his discomfort. \"It\'s just that...I\'ve waited for so long!\" Hazel eyes gazed pleadingly into Malakel\'s, who couldn\'t help but feel sorry for him: If it was indeed true that he had used magic just to find him, and that Malakel truly was his long sought after prince, it was only natural, wasn\'t it? If he wanted it all at once...? A little insecure he lifted his arms and let them slide across Lekalam\'s shoulders, returning the embrace. A kiss couldn\'t hurt, he reckoned.
\"It\'s ok,\" he soothed his eager new boyfriend. \"You can kiss me if you like...\" And so Lekalam did that. Though the kiss was maybe not as soft and gentle as Malakel would have liked for a first kiss, but strong and fiery. The blond witch pushed a slick tongue inside Malakel\'s mouth and invaded it with an eager plundering that Malakel had no choice but to return. All while Lekalam was moaning and grunting; grinding himself against his black-haired twin.
Malakel didn\'t know if he should be scared or aroused by this behavior. A part of him felt all tingly hot, another part nervous and insecure. He worried about Xinan, didn\'t want the cat to see what he was doing, then he felt embarrassed for thinking such thoughts. Who was the master anyway? Him, or the cat? Or this new man grasping his rear.
\"Stop!\" Malakel gasped at last. \"I can\'t breathe!\" He tried to step back, fought the embrace.
His partner let him go and gave him a shivering smile.
\"Yes,\" he mumbled, \"Of course...we have all eternity to do this...\" But Malakel thought his eyes looked sad, and so he felt utterly bad for rejecting him, even if it was just a kiss...
Thankfully, in that moment they could finally hear the door in the hall open and then no more, as cat feet were silent, even in human form.
\"Oh! Xinan!\" Malakel\'s features lit up and he felt most relieved. \"He must be hungry,\" he said eagerly and swiftly turned around, opened the cupboard and began lifting out blue plates. \"You are welcome to stay for dinner,\" he told his guest, before figuring it was perhaps not just what Lekalam wanted to hear, since he had planned on staying with him forever and all... \"I mean...we can have dinner,\" his voice dropped as well as his gaze; he was eagerly awaiting the familiar sound of the kitchen door opening. But it didn\'t happen. Instead he heard Xinan\'s hoarse voice in the hall:
\"In there is the kitchen, that\'s my master\'s domain...and here,\" he purred, \"these are the stairs to my room...This way, little kitty!\"
- Oh that flirt! Malakel felt his face flush with warmth as his eyes filled with angry tears. Taken completely aback by his own emotions he promptly dropped Xinan\'s favorite plate, the one with a picture of a mouse on it, and had to save it with a silent spell before it crashed to the floor.
Lekalam stood with his back to him and hadn\'t noticed any of Malakel\'s distress:
\"Kids, eh?\" he chuckled amused. \"I knew those two would get along!\"
Malakel set down the last plate and quickly wiped moisture from his eyes with the back of his hand. He shouldn\'t be surprised, really. He\'d always known Xinan was a slut! Ever since the days he had whiskers and kept the whole neighborhood up at night with his randy, little songs...
\"Really?\" he replied to Lekalam\'s statement. \"I suppose...\" he finished, felt all raw and chewed up inside. How could the cat just drop him like that? Like yesterday\'s tuna, as soon as he saw that other cat... With a pang of guilty conscience he suddenly remembered Vanja, but that was different wasn\'t it? Vanja had green spells in his eyes...right?
\"Why so sad?\" Strong fingers cupped his jaws and a thumb caressed his lower lip. Concerned, warm brown eyes watched him. \"I am the one who will never leave you. I will always stand by your side,\" he whispered.
\"How did you know?\" Malakel asked breathlessly.
\"I know your heart like my own,\" Lekalam replied with passion. \"Know it so well, because I know your soul...\"
\"Oh...\" Malakel sighed with awe. Maybe it was true then, after all? That they were destined...How else could it be explained? All those similarities between them, starting with their looks... But then again, his mind jumped, the cats might just be talking, playing, having tea...shamelessly screwing in his bed....Malakel felt hot with embarrassed anger.
\"What do you think they\'re doing up there?\" he hissed.
\"I don\'t know...\" Lekalam\'s brow furrowed with annoyance. \"But it\'s really not nice,\" he said. \"To ignore your forever beloved because of a cat!\"
\"Well, it\'s *your* cat\'s fault!\" Malakel said angrily. \"Why ever did you bring him here anyway?\" Malakel was completely unreasonable and knew it, In fact, in that moment, he heard his mother in his words. But she could have said something like that and kept standing like a queen, looking her opponent in the eye. Malakel could not, he suddenly blushed and looked away. Lekalam looked hurt and offended. His gaze avoided Malakel\'s.
\"I\'m sorry!\"\" they both said at the same time.
\"I shouldn\'t just show up at your door!\"
\"I can\'t tell you to bring your cat or not...\"
\"Nanix is usually such a good cat!\"
\"They might just be talking...\"
\"Oh gorgeous!\" Xinan\'s voice sounded from above. \"Yes, my little fur boy!\" In that same moment Lekalam took two steps forth and lifted Malakel from the floor. Promptly he carried him into the next room and set him down, shutting the door firmly behind them.
\"I\'m sorry you had hear that,\" he wiped sweat from his brow with aunt Gerda\'s table cloth and put it back down on the table. \"I had no idea Nanix would behave like that, our first day here and all...\"
\"Don\'t worry,\" Malakel said pained, \"it\'s Xinan, he has always been like that...He is so, easy!\" he complained.
\"Well,\" Lekalam\'s hand drifted down his spine. \"Boys will be boys.\" He shook his head. \"Won\'t they, Malakel...\" suddenly the blond witch sounded...suggestive?
\"I think...\" Malakel spoke slowly, breathing heavy and swallowing hard. \"We better eat that sushi now.\"
But while watching Lekalam eat, the little pieces of raw fish disappear between his lips, it was impossible not to think about the cat the food had been intended for. He had cast a spell to repel all noises from the next floor, yet he didn\'t really know what was worse: hearing him whore his little heart out, or not knowing at all, what he was doing. Nanix was a lovely cat, he sulked inwardly, no wonder it was hard to keep his paws off him. Much prettier than Malakel...with his honey colored fur and all...
\"Good food!\" Lekalam smiled, a little insecurely. They sat at Malakel\'s usual table, by the fireplace in the living room. \"I am sorry I expected you to take me on, right away,\" he sighed. \"I had no right to do that...but when I saw you I was so happy...I had not expected to feel this way at all, even if I knew you were meant to be, for me...\"
Malakel smiled gently.
\"Don\'t worry about it,\" he said. \"I was just...taken by surprise, that\'s all...\"
\"And your cat, was he...taken by surprise too? You know...\" he continued, \"the thought may be strange to you, but...since we two are paired up by destiny, perhaps our kittens are a couple too...\"
\"Maybe...\" Malakel drank some wine and pondered the thought; in that case it was he who was the odd one, wasn\'t it? The only one of the quartet not able to see destiny\'s web right away. If Xinan had seen his soul mate in Nanix, yet Malakel could only think about *him* really, despite having dinner with Lekalam, and wondered if they were using his lube or not, --wished they didn\'t do it in his bed...
\"Ah...Malakel...\" Lekalam\'s hand came to cover his on the table. \"I know it must have been hard for you. I know how lonely you must have been... I have been so alone myself, so I *know*.\" he said with compassion. \"It\'s no surprise your cat\'s newfound happiness is difficult to accept, but believe me...It is better this way! It is time to move on for the both of you...The time of solitude is over, we are here now. Me and Nanix. To take care of you both!\"
The words were soft and soothing for an aching heart and Malakel gave him a grateful smile. It was all so perfect, he knew that. Lekalam was pretty, charming and understood him so well, read his mind like a book, followed his mood without an effort. He even rivaled Malakel when it came to spell casting. Therefore he gave his companion a warm smile.
\"Ye, I know,\" he said. \"And me and Xinan...I would never keep him away from the cat of his dreams, I know I was just his in-between...\" he lifted the wine glass to his lips again. \"I just need some time,\" he said. \"Your arrival...\" he explained. \"It has all been a bit...too much!\" he sighed but felt easier now. The wine slid like feel-good serpents into his blood and coiled up there, warming it up. The calm and reasonable way in which the other spoke was like balm for his nervous system. \"Thank you,\" he smiled again, \"for being so understanding...\"
\"No problem,\" Lekalam gave his hand a little squeeze. \"Take all the time that you need.\" His sincere brown gaze met Malakel\'s. \"I can wait, \" he said. \"I will always wait, for you are mine and I love you deeply. I cannot rest if I know you are troubled and tense,\" he drew his breath sharply. \"Sorry!\" he suddenly said and gave another charming smile, \"I went too far again, didn\'t I?\"
\"It\'s all right,\" Malakel watched his shifting emotions with fascination. Was it really true that this witch did indeed love him? Even if they didn\'t know each other? ...Xinan did not seem to have any problems loving strangers... And of course his heart froze again the moment he thought about the cat.
\"Happy Valentine\'s Day!\" Lekalam lifted his glass to his beloved.
\"Happy Valentine\'s...\" the dark witch replied. Gaze and voice both softer now. Maybe he was just being stubborn, he thought. This male was so perfect for him in every way, and he had no reason to doubt him.
\"You will love me...\" Lekalam said, his gaze never leaving Malakel\'s. \"Like I love you...\" he finished his wine and set the glass back down on the polished wood.
He was all Xinan was not: refined, well-spoken, treated him with understanding and respect. Like a mirror image of himself, both on the outside and inside. Xinan was a dirty-minded, constantly horny, uneducated brat who cherished Malakel\'s behind more than anything else about him. Lekalam he could relate to, Lekalam he understood...The blond would never ask him to drop his pants at breakfast, or insist on oral sex while he was on the phone... There would be no conflict; who was the master and who was the pet, they would be equal from the beginning...and Lekalam would never drag random boys with him upstairs and fuck them silly in Malakel\'s bed...
The thought of Vanja drifted through his mind again, but Malakel knew it wasn\'t the same. He never dumped Xinan for Vanja, but it felt like Xinan had very much dumped *him* for Nanix...Therefore he gave his new man-to-be a seductive stare.
\"Yes, \" he said in reply to his statement. \"Maybe I will...\"
Lekalam lifted his hand then, and a tiny melody, a harp and a flute, began playing. A drift of silver colored confetti fell from the ceiling and the air suddenly scented of ylang-ylang. The pair smiled at each other. Malakel marveled at how well Lekalam knew him, how he knew what he found romantic... He lifted his hands to catch the silver specks, his heart suddenly filled with joy and new hope. He beamed at his guest now, offered him more wine. The fire in the hearth blazed as the wood turned from logs to wooden hearts.
\"Yes, \" Lekalam whispered passionately and leaned across the table. \"Give in to it, Malakel. Give yourself to me...\"
Malakel leaned forth as well, meeting him half-way, and their lips locked again when they kissed.
\"We\'re going out, \" the hoarse voice startled them both. The kiss ended abruptly and they parted. Seeing Xinan was like knives in Malakel\'s belly and an axe in his heart. The heart-shaped logs suddenly seemed to mock him... Xinan was looking rather annoyed as well, but then there was Nanix, purring loudly and rubbing himself against his legs. All smug and sated, Malakel shrugged.
\"Well, go then, \" he said ice cold.
\"You don\'t care?\" Xinan\'s eyes narrowed.
\"Why should I?\" he looked away.
\"Hello,\" Lekalam rose from the table and reached out his hand, \"I am Nanix\'s master, Lekalam,\" he smiled and approached Xinan. \"I am going to live with your master, \" he explained. \"I am sure we will be good friends.\"
Xinan bent forth and scooped Nanix from the floor to cuddle him in his arms.
\"Yeah,\" he said and took Lekalam\'s hand, \"I\'m sure we will.\"
He didn\'t look at Malakel once! The little witch swallowed hard, and swallowed harder. What a horrible Valentine\'s Day, he thought. So much for collars and cream, fish and wine... yet the other three seemed happy—no, thrilled—with the day!
\"Cream,\" he said, and felt exhausted like and old man, cold, grey and broken somehow. \"Cream,\" he sighed, \"and fish...in the kitchen, if you\'d like some.\" He didn\'t look directly at Xinan, could quite bring himself to.
\"For Nanix too?\" Xinan asked him.
\"Yes...\"
\"Great! We\'ll eat when we get home,\" the cat sounded happy.
Never, Malakel thought, not even with Vanja, had he treated Xinan with such indifference. He wanted to cry and sob and throw something...
The couple disappeared from the doorway and all he could hear from the hall was Nanix loud purring.
\"So...\" Lekalam\'s soft voice sounded. \"Where were we...?\"
\"Oh, I don\'t know,\" Malakel said absentmindedly, his finger drew glowing patterns on the table.
\"What?\" Lekalam sounded offended, the door shut, the cats had gone out.
\"I said...I don\'t know,\" he was still not quite there with his mind.
A shuddering breath sounded from the blond.
\"Enough is enough!\" he burst out and his palm connected with the table so glasses and plates clattered. \"Here I came...ready to lay down my soul for you, give you my heart, and my body...my all! And you won\'t even touch me! Won\'t even look at me!\" Malakel looked at him. Thinking it kind of rude to enter another witch\'s house and abuse his stoneware.
\"It is that cat!\" Lekalam continued. \"He is standing between us as sure as if he was in the room...Can you see how hard that is for me?\" he pleaded, \"loving you and all, when you\'d clearly rather be with that animal...But I got news for you,\" his voice was shivering now. \"He doesn\'t love you! He loves my cat, as he should...for they are meant for each other...Like you are meant for me...!\"
\"This is not giving me time, Lekalam, \" Malakel interrupted dryly and the other fell silent, clearly embarrassed, the color of his face considered.
\"I\'m sorry,\" he said at last. Looking so unhappy that Malakel somewhat melted. \"I love you,\" Lekalam continued. \"That is all...why it\'s hard...\" he swallowed visibly.
\"I know...\" Malakel reached out his hand and squeezed the other\'s gently. \"Just don\'t rush it with me,\" he warned in a soft voice.
\"I won\'t,\" the other smiled gratefully and rose from his chair. \"I\'ll help you with the plates, \" he offered, probably eager to let the topic go.
Standing in the kitchen however, Lekalam attacked Malakel again, embracing him and touching him, stroking his backside.
\"Just give me a chance, will you?\" he murmured. \"I traveled so far just to get to you...Let me show you what I can do for you,\" he begged.
\"Do for me?\" Malakel said flustered and almost dropped a glass.
\"I know your body, like I know your mind,\" he whispered hotly into Malakel\'s ear.\"I can show you heavens you\'ve never visited before...\" his hands kneaded the black-haired witch\'s buttocks and Malakel couldn\'t help but feel a stir in his groin.\"I have longed so...desired this moment...\" his passionate whisper sent pleasurable shivers down Malakel\'s spine.\"Top or bottom?\" he asked teasingly.
\"I mostly prefer to be taken,\" Malakel said with a shy smile.
\"Me too,\" Lekalam grinned about their similarities and Malakel joined him.
If Xinan had fun with *his* guest, why shouldn\'t Malakel have fun with Lekalam? And if he was meant to be, there really was no way around it, right? So he let the other witch kiss him. Moaned a little even. Offered him his throat to lick and nibble.
\"Oh Malakel...now you make me so happy!\" Lekalam whispered and Malakel briefly wondered if their cocks looked the same, if their semen would have the same flavor. --Only one way to find out he decided...
\"Come,\" he beckoned at the other, walking backwards into the living room and letting himself fall down on the very same couch that he just a few moths ago had let himself be mounted by the Russian vampire. Now, this time, it was his soul mate he called for, but strangely enough his body didn\'t feel half as excited. But he blamed that on Xinan, that faithless, heartless cat!
\"I didn\'t know you could be so sweet,\" Lekalam\'s eyes shone warmly like burnt earth and Malakel felt bad. He would do his best, he swore, not to hurt this man. It wasn\'t in Malakel\'s nature to hurt, but to nurture.
\"Come...\" he called for him again and opened his arms to embrace the blond when he knelt on the couch in front of him and kissed him deeply. Lekalam\'s hands slid in under Malakel\'s pink shirt, caressed the smooth skin of his chest and twisted his nipples gently.
\"Oh!\" Malakel burst out. It felt good. He could feel his face flush with blood as his cock swelled and pressed against its confines. It was Xinan who had made him so shameless, he thought. Had tamed his body and taught it to react, to spill over with lust when touched. \"Oh!\" he exclaimed again, the other witch had bent forth, sucking and licking his tummy and chest. His teeth tugged at one of his puckered nipples. The golden eye-lashes glittered in the light from the fire. \"Touch me...Lekalam,\" he begged him quietly while his own fingers pulled Lekalam\'s violet shirt from his pale skin, revealing planes as smooth and slender as Malakel\'s own. He hardly could tell them apart, but for the slightly more pink color of Lekalam\'s nipples.
He took hold of the blond\'s shoulders and pulled him down to rest on top of him and made out like teenagers; their warm chests connected, nipples rolling against each other, making nipple-love between their bodies.
The tip of Lekalam\'s tongue grazed Malakel\'s lips.
\"I want to taste you,\" he breathed. \"Swallow you down... drink you!\"
Malakel shrugged off a few Vanja-images and let the passion of his words wash over him, drown all regrets, all tomorrows...
\"Have me then!\" he offered, and unbuttoned his pants himself. Eager now and all too wanton. His own cock-head felt warm and moist when he uncovered it.
Lekalam laughed softly, then he opened his pants as well. As expected it looked much the same as Malakel\'s did, only it lived in a nest of golden-brown down, not in pitch black as Malakel\'s did. They both smiled at the sight of the twins, then Lekalam lowered himself to lie fully on top of him, grinding their members together with a series of deep sighs and ragged breaths. Their cocks crossed, kissed and ground together. Rolling sensations of sweet pleasure and building desire set their bodies on fire as they held and clutched at each other, pants around their knees, the shirts clumped under their arms moist and wrinkled fabric. Kisses; dozens, wet and deep. Penetrating tongues and sore lips...
\"Oh, have me then,\" Malakel begged, meeting Lekalam\'s downward motions with upward thrusts of his own. \"Take me into your beautiful mouth, \" he begged in his sweet voice. \"Suck me dry and eat my come,\" he said huskily, echoing Xinan and what *he* used to say. It sure worked on Malakel, and he hoped it would work on Lekalam as well, for he didn\'t think he could wait much longer. His loins felt like molten wax; warm and sweating, soft and powerless.
The red lips of the other parted as his eye-lids hooded his eyes, glimmering brown, like dark gold. His blond curls were damp and fell in slick tendrils around his scalp. Arching down, placing small kisses on Malakel\'s body as he went, he finally settled between his legs, with one hand curled wound his own erection, the other one took hold of Malakel\'s cock, as his lips began sliding up and down the shaft; saliva slick and cruel to a wanton little witch.
\"Oh, Lekalam...\" his fingers laced with golden curls, guiding him gently, \"Lekalam,\" he repeated, \"so good...\" The soft, warm mouth wrapped around him now; the tip of that clever, strong tongue probed at the tiny slit, coaxing beads of moisture from it. Then his lips began massaging the shaft, moving up and down the length while sucking greedily at the erect flesh. He was doomed to come, and come fast!
\"Oh Goddess!\" he jerked on the couch, his spine bending in an perfect arch as he sprayed his lover\'s mouth with white, hot liquid. Lekalam followed his movements the best that he could, holding on to him and milking him of every single drop, both with his mouth and his hand. His other hand was still fondling his own stiff organ.
\"Thank you Lekalam,\" Malakel sighed. Drenched in sweat and feeling good and sated. \"That was wondrous!\" he sighed again.
\"Yes, wasn\'t it?\" a shine in Lekalam\'s eyes now, a confidence in his voice that hadn\'t been there before...
\"Now I want to do you,\" Malakel smiled at his soul mate, a little puzzled to see him hesitate.
\"No, you don\'t have...Well, all right, yes, of course...\" he interrupted himself and smiled at Malakel. He lay back down on the couch and spread his legs, waiting for Malakel to come pleasure him.
Malakel first placed a kiss on his lips, a soft, little thank you for what he had done for him. He thought the other felt a little different somehow and was confused. It was impossible to pin point exactly what had changed but it was as if his body had become more tense, harder somehow. And colder... Malakel shrugged it off, he let his hands slide down Lekalam\'s body, touch his smooth skin hungrily. Then he lowered his face to his crotch to pleasure him. His member was strained and skin taunt, it tasted of salt already. Malakel\'s tongue lapped up the liquid pooling from it and gently took him into the warm cave of his mouth, closing his eyes as he let it slide inside, as far as it could get. Then he began sucking.
But as he slid his mouth up and down the erection, listening to Lekalam\'s grunting sounds of approval, he caught sight of something peculiar: There was a stain, a spot, on Lekalam\'s hip. A grey-green mark of sorts, and it grew and expanded while Malakel watched. A ragged form rippling like water across the skin; spreading faster as Lekalam approached his orgasm. Soon it covered almost the whole hip; scenting musky and moist like moss, old and seaweed...
\"Aha!\" Malakel suddenly let the cock slip from his mouth and heard it slap against the skin of Lekalam\'s belly with a loud, smacking sound that made the male in him cringe. He didn\'t hesitate though, but pointed a long finger at Lekalam. \"You\'re not a witch at all, are you?!\" he accused. \"You are a faerie! A dark faerie!\"
Lekalam looked stunned for a moment, then he began laughing:
\"Good of you to spot that, Malakel, son of Malikiel,\" he he replied. His eyes weren\'t brown anymore, but a dirty, stained yellow, not like Xinan\'s clear sulfur orbs, but evil and old looking. As the little witch watched the glamour was quickly fading; Lekalam\'s golden curls uncurled and became ragged, long and greenish in color. The grey-green spread like rot across his skin and his teeth suddenly narrowed to pointed fangs. His clothes hung around his limbs in tattered shreds of green and black. His ears had grown into points as well, peeking out from the mass of hair. Now he didn\'t look like Malakel at all!
\"Now that I have eaten your seed,\" the faerie spat, \"all I need is to devour you heart and your liver, and the power of the dead will mine!\" he cackled.
\"You will eat my heart?!\" Malakel was stunned.
\"Oh, I so will!\" The faerie screamed and clawed at him with sharp, long greenish black nails.
\"I\'m sorry, \" Malakel said, as polite as the situation allowed. \"But I can\'t let you do that...I need it!\"
\"Need it?!\" the faerie laughed shrilling. \"You don\'t need that heart, it can\'t feel a thing!...How else could you not fall for me? Love is the power among sidhe of my kind,\" he rasped.
\"But it wasn\'t love...it was a lie!\" Malakel argued, fully aware he should probably be more concerned about saving his own life than debate.
\"Lie, love, lie, love,\" the faerie tilted his head from side to side. \"Who can tell the difference?\" he asked. \"It\'s much the same thing, is it not?\"
Malakel swallowed hard, not quite thinking it the right time to ponder such questions.
\"And Nanix, he asked? Is he a faerie too?\"
\"Not quite,\" the fanged smile widened.
\"But why...?\"
\"Well, I had heard about your cat! How he\'s all over you, claws and teeth and all! I had to get him away...\"
\"But why...?\"
\"You?\" he interrupted. \"Because you are who you are of course...your flesh is a portal to the power of the dead...So...If I could have your heart, liver and semen, I would have it... It\'s easy!\" he grinned. \"And now I am going to have it!\" the creature cried and lashed out at him with his sharp finger-nails. \"Give me your heart!\" he bellowed. \"Heart!\" he screamed, as Malakel tossed himself from side to side in the couch to avoid the knife-like edges of the nails.
\"No! I won\'t let you! it is *my* heart!\" Malakel told him and batted away the hands.
\"Oh don\'t you even try fighting me, Malakel.\" the faerie laughed harshly. \"For into my toxic slumber you will succumb, and while you sleep and dream your sweet dreams of misery, I shall cut your chest open and slice out your organs.\" he threatened and lifted his claws in the air. His stiff hair brushed across Malakel\'s naked chest, across his pounding heart.
It certainly looked bad. Malakel was forced into a corner of the velvet couch, and no cat was there to save him this time. He would simply have to do the job himself.
\"Valentine, away!” He yelled the old spell out and made a random gesture with his hand. And so the faerie was gone.
Tired and sad and angry Malakel pulled his pants back on and padded upstairs to clean up. Some Valentine\'s day, he thought. That stupid faerie had ruined all... He sniffled a little, missed his kitten badly...
In the stairway he suddenly heard screaming noises and hissing sounds. He knew at once that of course it would have something to do with his pet, and true enough, when looking out of the window he caught sight of Xinan kicking a screaming little goblin across the lawn. It was Nanix... or what was left of him. He sure wasn\'t pretty! Malakel shrugged. He would have to take Xinan to the vet, to make sure he hadn\'t caught any diseases from the creature... Then again, maybe he should see a doctor too...
He sighed again, from misery of it all, and turned on the water in the shower. It was scalding hot, but that\'s how he wanted it tonight. He heard the door downstairs through the flow of water, knew Xinan had come home, but was in no rush to face him. He wasn\'t angry. If what the faerie said was true, Malakel had only the strength of his blood, he supposed, to thank for not being ensnared by his power. A mere cat wouldn\'t have much protection, not even if he was a witch\'s cat. Still it had hurt, and it still stung... He didn\'t know how much had been magic, and how much had been real of Xinan\'s odd behavior...What would happen the next time an enchanted goblin knocked on the door?
While toweling off he heard the cat in the kitchen. Eating he supposed. Salmon and cream. He thought about the velvet collar. Thought about the plans he\'d had for the night, now the Night of Lovers was almost over, dawn approached fast. He was horribly disappointed by it all
.
He put on a pair of white and blue striped pajamas pants, and padded back down. No point in avoiding it was there? He wanted to see if the cat was all right as well. Wanted perhaps, some comfort? It had indeed been a rough night...
\"Xinan...\" he opened the door to the kitchen. There he was! His strange little cat! Maybe not the prettiest feline to walk the earth, but certainly very special.
\"Malakel,\" he sounded miserable. His ears hung and his shoulders were slumped. He didn\'t turn to face his master. \"You can just turn me into a four-legged cat again,\" he said. \"I\'m such a useless cat...no good...\"
Malakel smiled a little that he thought the witch would do that to him.
\"I have given you your form to keep,\" he said. \"I\'m not reversing that before you ask me...\"
\"...Then I ask you,\" Xinan said, \"so I don\'t have a mouth and won’t have to explain what happened tonight...\"
\"Sweetness, you are always so dramatic,\" Malakel said calmly. \"I know very well what happened tonight.\"
\"Was it magic?!\" Xinan said hopeful.
\"It was...\"
\"The...lusty bit too? I know the goblin was disguised.\"
\"It was a spell, Xinan, glamour. Don\'t worry...\"
\"You chased him, the other one, away...?\"
\"It was a faerie...\"
\"Oh Goddess!\"
\"And I killed him! I think...\"
\"Good!\"
\"Xinan, do you love me?!\" Malakel burst out. He still stood in the doorway, his arms crossed in front of his chest. He felt relieved, and happy somehow, that Xinan appeared to be so utterly sad and sorry about what happened. How could he ever have thought his cat would hurt him on purpose?
\"More than anything, master,\" Xinan looked him straight in the eyes.
\"I love you too, Xinan,\" he reached out a hand, which the kitten eagerly took. \"And I got something for you,\" he smiled softly and thought about the beautiful collar again. \"It\'s upstairs, in my bedroom.\"
That, of course, ignited a spark in Xinan\'s gaze.
\"Oh really?!\" he growled softly, but to Malakel\'s surprise he didn\'t run up the stairs as he used to, every time Malakel used the word \"bed\".
\"Let\'s bring these,\" Xinan said instead, reaching for a little crystal bowl on the counter and giving it to Malakel. \"They are for you,\" he said, sounding a little awkward. \"I made them myself.\"
They were chocolates. Little, heart-shaped chocolates. They weren\'t perfect, far from it, but they were clearly recognizable as hearts. And his kitten had made them in secret...for him.
\"Aw, Xinan, \" he melted completely. \"Goddess, how sweet you are!\" he burst out and threw his free arm around Xinan\'s neck to place his lips were they belonged --on his cat\'s! \"Thank you,\" he whispered softly.
\"My pleasure,\" the little cat smiled and caressed Malakel\'s buttocks. \"For I’ve got the bestest master in the world,\" he said. Malakel swore he could see the little cat blush.
The End
Tbc in \"Malakel\'s Wedding\", this Easter ;)
The End
