Solidify
Solidify
I can feel my heart solidify
The continuous solar flare fade away
Even the tears I shed
Have long since relinquished their duty
The pain before was nothing
compared to the emptiness I feel now
Why is it that I am so alone?
Hiding from the darkness that envelopes me
I deceive myself by waking to the clamorous discord of your shadow.
And I realize all too soon
That I am disconnected from my love
and left with the thin air I always seem to be holding.
