Devil's Laird Island
Hi, I\'m back!!!
Here is another fantasy fiction. I hope you enjoyed The Augustus Files. Now I know what do to with fanfics, I will boldy go with that one and let it see where it leads to.
I was surprised to see how many people read it but still only 1 review lol, oh well guess I can\'t complain....... no flamers lol.
My email address is up todate if you wish to post me an email about my fiction. If you dont like the smut dont read my fic, so don\'t flame if you read it anyway. And please, dont copy my work for your own as I have it on disc at home anyway :).
this may be a small chapter, it was late when I wrote it so I am hoping to put a bit more into it. Does it matter if it\'s short. If it get;s left, then maybe that is how it is supposed to be :))) let\'s see where it goes....

Chapter one: Landing
In time, Connor washed up on the beach. His body slumped against the
rocks on the shoreline of Dracony\'s Island, the mythical land of legends and demons. Supposedly.
The tide turned outwards, and dusk fell. The cool air breathed over his skin. Time passed during his slumber.
A sound of waves pounded in his ears, but something else was beconning. His eyes flickered open, but still he lay, too weak to move from his ordeal.
His vision blurred, he saw through the mist a figure of a maiden. She came slowly towards him almost looking like she was floating off the ground. As she came near, he saw that she was beautiful, but something nagged inside, like a warning.
Not all things beautiful where safe, or all that they seemed. He tried to remember to keep his head, but feeling slightly delerious from lack of food and water, he let her help him up and take him back to her hut.
The trek back was steep and ragged. The hill seemed more like a mountain. Connor\'s foot hurt like hell and he felt winded like he had a broken rib or two. He hobbled along the path, supported by this female. Her ragged hair blew in the wind as the dusk fell into night. A strange glow could be seen around her, but he only caught the edges. He was not sure what it was. What was she?
She seemed oblivious to him. Her mind was on taking him to safety, from the Island Dwellers. She didn\'t care what he thought. She had one aim only.
He took a sneak at her face. It was not totally perfect but beautiful all the same. Her eyes where dark topaz and sparkled. Her eyes seemed to mesmerize him and once caught, he drifted, but still somehow managed to make it up the hill.
He did not remember anything else. Other than waking up the following morning in a hut, with bandages around him and the smell of medicine ointment. The fire was burning brightly in the grate and the smell of embers tweaked his nose.
There was no sign of this female who had helped him. Only he knew that he had been made comfortable and on the road to recovery. A sound of voices came nearer to the hut door, then a sound of a creaking door. His neck, stiff and sore, Connor turned his head to look who had come in. His mouth dropped in surprise.
