And all the thoughts he brings.
I must forget the warmth he had

I have to forget the memories
And all the drips of chrome.
I must perfect the idea that w/o him
My heart is sure to roam.
I gotta forget the twinkle
That lit up his eyes.
I forgot how he used to sprinkle
My feeble mind with lies.
I forgot how he’s so forgetful
That he once forgot my name.
I think I was a girl named Ashley
But I know he wasn’t to blame.
I’m so quick to forget his kisses
How they always tasted of deceit.
How he looked at me and laughed as if
He didn’t care if his secrets were leaked.

You forget the laughs he brought
