Where Do You Turn
Who do you turn to when things don\'t work out?
When nothing will ever go right?
Who do you talk to to get through the pain?
Who help you deal with your plight?
When you find yourself empty of all the right feelings,
And noone seems to be there,
How do you cope with the startling fact
That you don\'t have someone to care?
Do you hold it all in, rely on yourself
With the knowledge it wont go away?
Or turn to a stranger in a pretty white coat
And lock out the brightness of day?
Theres always a question of when, who and where
But the awnsers wont come straight to heart.
And so you sit there alone through the night
And wait for the path to part.
But the red sea is deep and the staff in the palm
Of anothers straight, holy hand.
For rightousness comes to the purest of souls
And leaves the rest buried in sand.
So I ask you once more as I lay down tonight
And darkness falls over my room:
When you ask for help from the ones who are there
Will it be too late or too soon?
