Blood Lust

Chapter One

This is my story that I’ve been working on for awhile. It’s an original story with my own original characters that are copyrighted to me. Anyway I’ve been writing for a long time but I have never posted my stories online so I guess you could call this my first online story. Eventually in my life I will start doing fanfics but for now I’ll be doing my own stories. Now this story will contain Yaoi and become more graphic later on in the story. For now its going to be one of those boring ‘meet all the characters and cry when there’s no sex in the first chapter’ kinda thing but I do hope you’ll enjoy it none-the-less.

The sun shown down lazily on the small city of Metra as people went about their daily business, be it working long hours in an office or simply going for a walk through the park. Though Metra was full of chattering neighbors, and hard working people it wasn’t without its own dangers. Dangers one boy was going to get caught up in because of one desire. A desire that would cause a chain reaction that would reach all the way back into a two hundred year past.

“Young man I’d like to purchase these please.” Business was at an all time high that afternoon at the Shokubutsu flower shop. The shop was small and quaint, and even though it wasn’t as great as many of the other flower shops in town many people liked it because of the warm welcomes and great attitudes the workers had.
“I’ll be right with you ma’am.” A boy called as he carried one of the heavier plants to its stand by the window. His name was Inochi Usagi, a high school student at Kusano North High who worked after school at the shop since it was owned by his best friends mom. Setting the plant down he wiped his hand off on the white apron he was required to wear.

“Sorry for the wait.” He said with a smile as he unlocked the glass case that held different assortments of flowers. Grabbing the one the elderly woman had pointed out he walked to the counter.
“This is a lovely choice.” He commented as he wrapped the flowers and rung up the price. “That comes to twelve dollars and ninety-two cents please.” Again he smiled as the woman dug through her purse and pulled out fifteen dollars.
“Such a courteous boy. You can just keep the change dear.” The woman said as she picked up the flowers and made her way to the door.
“Oh thank you very much ma’am” Inochi said as he ran a hand through his light brown hair.
“You are such a kiss ass.” A voice stated as the brunette began filling up a water jug.
“Well you know Sai, if you acted a little nicer once in awhile and actually smiled at the customers then you’d get tips too.” Inochi retorted as he shut off the water and turned to the other. Misairu Amai, or Sai as many called him, was your average punk style kid and Inochi’s best friend. His deep violet hair was usually kept back in a hair tie and his eyes were always full of mischief. The boy was dressed in a casual wrinkled long sleeve black shirt, unlike Inochi’s crisp white one, and a pair of faded jeans that had finally given in to a rip on the right knee. The required apron was slung loosely on his arm.
“And turn into you? No thanks man.”
“You know you should be wearing that.” Inochi stated as he pointed to the unadorned garment hanging on Sai’s arm before turning to pick up the jug. “Your mom is always telling you that you need to wear it.” Jug in hand he went about water in the plants in the small shop. Sticking his tongue out at the brunette, Sai slipped on the apron and grabbed a spray bottle and followed Inochi around to spray the leaves.
“Oh hey Inochi you coming out with me and the boys tonight? Open amateur party at one of the local bars.” Sai asked as Inochi grabbed a stool to stand one so he could reach the hanging plants.
“You know I can’t get into bars Sai.” Inochi replied as he pulled some dead leaves off the plants.
“Come on Inu, its about time you put that fake I.D to use. Who knows maybe that Tsuki guy will be there.” Sai said with a wink making Inochi blush.

Tsuki Kyoku was a well-known boy at Kusano North for his excellent music abilities but also his knack for getting in trouble. He was your regular bad boy with a good boys heart and Inochi had had a crush on him for the longest time. Once Misairu found out, however, he couldn’t stop bugging the younger boy about it and though it got really irritating sometimes, Inochi was happy that Sai had accepted his sexual preference.

“Sai stop picking on Inochi, you know how testy he can be.” A woman, obviously Sai’s mother, was standing with a clipboard in her hand. She was a kind looking woman with soft purple hair kept back in a bun. She was wearing a black Japanese style shirt and matching pants. She was a kind woman even though she often scolded her son. “I need you boys to do me a favor before you get off work.”
“Sure thing Mrs. Amai.” Inochi said as he hopped off the stool and walked over to her.
“Aw man extra work? This bites ass.” Mrs. Amai chose to ignore the comment from her son as she handed Inochi the clipboard.
“Wonderful. I need you to go and pick these up for me. I ordered them in awhile ago so it should be in today. I’d go but my back has been acting up. And Sai I want you home for dinner before you go out anywhere tonight.” She stated waving a finger at the violet haired boy who seemed more interested in poking around in his ear with his pinky finger.
“Yes mom I’ll be home.” Sai replied lazily before he turned to the door. “Come on Inu lets get rolling.” He said with a cheeky grin.
“Stop calling me that!” Inochi yelled as he followed after the other. Being a little miffed about Sai insisting on using his nickname the brunette failed to watch where he was going and crashed into someone who had been running down the sidewalk.
“Ooh smooth move Inu.” Sai said with an eye closed and a grin.
“Shut up Sai!” The brunette yelled as he glared at the other from his place on the pavement. Looking over to the man he had bumped into, his heart stopped. The stranger had short kind of gothic style black hair and an odd deep red color of eyes. Inochi noted the tight white muscle shirt, black pants, leather choker, wristbands and silver earring on his left ear. Realizing that he must have been staring the brunette turned away to hide his soft blush.
“I-I’m very sorry. I should have been watching where I was going.” He said sheepishly as he tried to calm his blush. The stranger quickly stood and glanced in the direction he had been running.
“Next time I suggest you pay closer attention to where you’re going.” He said coldly.
“You didn’t seem to be paying much attention to where you were going either pal.” Misairu piped up as he bent to help his fallen friend. The stranger just shot him a glare before walking briskly past them and turned down a nearby alleyway.
“Jerk…” Sai mumbled as he watched the guy walk away.
“It’s ok Sai, it was only an accident.” Inochi said as he dusted off his pants.
“Yeah whatever. Come on, let’s go get my moms supplies and then go have some fun.” Sai said as he slipped into the car and unlocked the passenger side before buckling up. Nodding, Inochi slid into the vehicle and buckled himself in before Misairu started up the engine. Putting the car in reverse, Sai backed up a bit before pulling out into the street.
“So how’d you do on your biology test?” Sai questioned as they drove along.
“I got eighty-three percent but then biology was never my best subject. I’m glad I studied though or my score would have be a lot lower.” Inochi replied with a smile as he turned on the air conditioning. Up ahead sirens from an ambulance and a couple police cars could be heard. “Oh look Sai! Looks like someone was in an accident.” Drawing closer Sai pulled to a stop and rolled down his window to speak to the police officer whom was walking towards them.
“What’s going on?” Said asked as he looked up at the burly man, who seemed to have some crumbs, most likely from the doughnut in his hand, on his mustache.
“Someone just fainted in the street while crossing the road. Nothing too serious but we are going to have to detour you down this road for the time being.” The man answered as he pointed to the road to the left.
“Thanks officer and I hope everything goes well.” Sai said as he turned down to the left.
“I hope everything is okay.” Inochi said softly as he watched the paramedic’s wheel a girl on a stretcher into the ambulance. “That girl looks our age.”
“Is she hot?”
“Sai!”
“What? You know what they say: ‘Make light of a bad situation’ or some crap like that.”
“You’re horrible.”
“Not in bed.”
“Sai!”
Misairu could only laugh as he took a right and pulled into the parking lot of the mall his mother had told them to go to.
“God you’d think that there would be at least one parking spot on the main level.” Sai grumbled as he looked around the lot.
“We might have to go up a level Sai. Looks like all the spots down here are full.” Inochi stated as he also looked around. Letting out a sigh Misairu pulled up the ramp that would take them up a level and continued his search there.”
“There’s one!!” Inochi shouted suddenly causing the other to jump from the noise.
“Holy crap man you scared me half to death!”
“I seem to do that often…so why aren’t you dead yet?”
“It’s an expression wise ass.” Sai muttered as he parked and shut off the car.
“Ok so your mom ordered in some supplies so they should be all boxed up and ready.” Inochi said with a smile as they walked through the mall doors.
“We also have to make a pit stop at the pet store.”
“Huh? What for?” Inochi questioned while raising an eyebrow.
“My little sisters hamster kind of died so I have to be the good big brother and buy her a new one.” Sai answered as he looked at the mall map to find out where they had to go.
“Aw that’s so sweet. I love hamsters.” Inochi stated with glee before he was hit with a thought brick. “Wait a second…how does a hamster ‘Kind of’ die?”
“Well I’m not sure if it’s dead…but I do know that the little buggers fly pretty well out of open windows.” Sai stated with a small laugh while scratching the back of his head. Inochi’s face froze in place as this information processed.
“Uh…do I want to know how you managed that?”
“Well see the little rat got out of its cage so I had to track it down. When I found it I guess it thought my hand looked mighty tasty. Next thing I knew ‘Superham’ was flying out the window.”
“Misairu you are so hopeless.” Inochi said as he patted his friend on the back. “But don’t worry, I’ll help you pick out a new one.”
“I figured you might offer.” Smiling the two boys made there was to the plant store that held their supplies.
“Uh hello? I’m Inochi Usagi; I’m here to pick up an order for Juneth Amai.” The brunette called as he walked inside and noticed that the store was seemingly empty save for the foliage.
“Jeez where is everyone?” Said questioned as he looked around.
“Maybe they’re on a coffee break.” Inochi offered.
“Hello it’s a plant store. It’s nothing but one big coffee break.” Sai stated, as he grew impatient. “All right you lazy bastards we’re a couple of high paying customers and we want some service right now!”
“Sai! Don’t be rude.” Inochi scolded. “We could get in trouble.”
“Fuck that. If we got cash then these losers are our bitches.” Sai retorted.
“Sorry for the wait gentlemen. How may I help you?” A pudgy man asked as he waddled over to the boys.
“By losing a few OW!” Sai was interrupted by a lovely thwack to the head from the clipboard Inochi held.
“Yes we’re here to pick up an order under the name of Juneth Amai.” Inochi stated with a smile as he handed the man the man the clipboard. Taking a moment to look it over the man handed it back with a smile.
“I was wondering when someone was going to come and pick it up.” The man stated. “I’ll have it brought out in just a few minutes.”
“Okay sounds good since we have one other errand to run.” Inochi said with another smile as he turned and left the store with Misairu close behind.
“You know, you may seem all nice and happy but that’s just to hide the violent beast inside isn’t it?” Sai asked as he rubbed his head.
“Sometimes I feel the need to release that beast.” Inochi replied.
“Why does it have to be all over the back of my head?”
“Well it served you right. You shouldn’t act so mean to people especially to…to uh…” Inochi began without trying to sound rude.
“Fat people?”
“Sai!”
“Oh come on man did you see that guy? It looked like Mercury decided to come to earth for a vacation.” Sai said as he held his arms out and puffed up his cheeks in an attempt to accent the size of the man.
“Come on Sai that’s not funny.” Inochi said while trying to suppress a laugh. The two boys then reached the escalator that would take them to the bottom floor. Inochi quickly stepped on and began smiling happily as they rode down.
“Buddy you are to easily amused.” Sai said with a raised eyebrow as he watched his over excited friend.
“Shut up it makes me happy.” Inochi stated as they stepped off at the bottom.
“Come on the pet store is this way.” The violet haired boy said as he led the brunette to the large store. Inochi’s eyes instantly lit up once they entered.
“Aw! Look at the cute puppies and kittens and little bunnies! Oh Sai they have flop ear bunnies!”
“Yeah yeah that’s nice. Come and help me pick out one of these little hairballs.”

Well that’s the end of Chapter one. Yeah I know it sucked and it was boring but things get better later on. In the next chapter Inochi and Misairu use their fake I.D’s to get into the bar where we have our first meeting with Tsuki Kyoku, Inochi’s crush object but that’s not the only person we’ll be seeing. The stranger from before also makes an appearance. Sorry that I have yet to reach sex…but there will be sex, lots and lots of hot man sex… as soon as I can get to it. At any rate I am hoping for some reviews by anyone who may be reading this even if this chapter did suck.
