July 1, 2004.......
\"Man, are we there yet?\" Stacy Weatherford asked Sarah Sparks, the driver of the car.
\"You sound like my little brother. We\'ll get there when we get there. Geez!\"
The girls were planning a forth of July trip to Florida to spend the rest of their summer in relaxation before they had to go back to college for their senior year. \"It is SO hot!\" Amber Jones said as she cracked her window in the backseat and started fanning herself with her Florida brochure.
\"Well, it\'s not going to be too long now.\" Said Patty Gorban as she patted Amber\'s shoulder. \"Just think of the big pool and cold drinks we\'re going to get when we get to Florida.\"
\"You mean whenever we get there.\"
The car turned left down 100 Doolan Drive, a very grassy, secluded area. Just trees, plains, and very few houses. They were driving for a little over three hours on that road when the car started steaming. The girls screamed Sarah pulled the car over in the grass. \"Shit!\" Sarah yelled.
\"Why is it steaming?\" Amber asked as they all got out the car. \"Why is it steaming?!\" She started to panic.
\"Damn it, I don\'t know, Amber! I\'m not a fucking mechanic!\"
\"Calm down Sarah.\" Patty said. \"It may not even be that big of a problem.\"
\"We\'re stuck in a small unknown town, with nothing but trees and grass around us, and no houses in sight. A flat tire can be a big problem if you have no one to help you.\" She started to pace. \"My dad is so gonna kill me!\"
\"Maybe not.\" Stacy said as she lifted her hand over her eyes to block the sun. \"Am I seeing things or is that a motel down there?\"
The girls all looked and sure enough, there was a big burgundy sign with the words One-Stop Hotel written in a cream color. \"We\'re saved.\" Amber sighed.
\"Oh shut up.\" Sarah said. \"You act like we\'ve been out here for six hours or something.\"
\"As hot as it is, it feels like it\'s been six hours.\"
The girls grabbed their purses, locked the doors and walked further down the road to the motel. It wasn\'t a big motel, it had only twelve rooms that trailed side by side each other. You\'d think about resting here if you were traveling and it got late and you needed a place to sleep overnight. Sarah heard the hum of the air conditioning. \"Good, it\'s open.\" Before she opened the door to the office, she saw a big old victorian house sitting on a hill above the motel. It looked very creepy with its dull colors, lack of plants, and peeling paint. There were also a large flight of steps that led from the house to the motel. Apparently the owner lives in that house or a dead relative used to.
Once all the girls were inside, Sarah rang the bell. They heard footsteps and a young man of 23 came out from the back. He was semi tall with big beautiful hazel eyes, even bigger curly brown hair, and a slender athletic physique. But you could tell he was a bit of a man/child; shy looking, timid, and carried very little -if any- eye contact. But when he saw Sarah and her long brown hair and slender face, pettite fingers, and trim figure, he couldn\'t help but look at her. \"Hello.\"
\"Hi.\" Sarah started. \"Um, our car broke down the road here and we were wondering if you could help us out.\"
\"I\'m sorry, I don\'t know anything about cars, but I could call a mechanic for you.\"
\"Sure. Thanks a lot.\" The girls walked outside while the man checked the phone book for the number. \"He seems nice enough.\"
\"He\'s cute.\" Patty said. \"And his accent is adorable.\"
\"I don\'t know.\" Amber said as she checked herself in her mirror. \"He seems too timid to me. Too child like.\"
Stacy smiled at Sarah. \"He likes you.\"
\"What?\" Sarah said.
\"I saw him eye you when he came out from that back room. He didn\'t look at us that way. Then again, he was probably to busy checking you out before he could get to us.\" The three girls started laughing. Sarah rolled her eyes.
\"It\'s true.\" Patty said. \"I saw him too.\"
\"Me too.\" Amber said.
The man came out the office. \"The closest good one I could get was in the next town. Three hours away. Even then he says he\'s really busy and he\'ll try to get here.\" The girls groaned.
\"Great.\" Stacy said.
\"Do you want me to help you push the car here?\"
\"Makes sense.\" Patty said.
The four started walking down the road and Patty asked, \"So, what\'s your name?\"
\"Simon Durberfield.\"
She shook his hand. \"Hi Simon. I\'m Patty, that\'s Stacy, Amber, and that\'s Sarah. So you run this motel every summer?\"
\"I run it everyday.\"
\"You don\'t go to college?\"
\"My mother can\'t afford to put me through college. Especially after my father died.\"
\"Don\'t you get bored sitting in that office in the middle of nowhere?\" Amber asked.
\"Not really. My mother keeps me pretty busy between running the motel and caring for the house.\"
\"That\'s y\'alls house up there?\" Sarah asked.
\"Yep.\"
\"Big place.\"
\"It\'s a mess. I try to tell my mother to let me get the house repainted, but she won\'t do it.\"
\"You really love your mother, don\'t you?\" Stacy asked.
\"She\'s like my best friend. You can\'t get out that much in this small town. Family is the only friend people have around here.\"
They reached the car and Simon, Stacy, Sarah, and Patty pushed it, while Amber steered. They had gotten it back to the motel and by then it had started getting dark outside. \"There\'s not another building in sight for miles. You guys wanna just stay here the night?\" Sarah asked. They nodded. \"Simon, could we get four rooms?\"
\"Preferably adjacent to each other.\" Amber said.
\"Sure. Come in the office and I\'ll give you your keys.\"
Once inside, the girls signed their names in the book. Sarah reached in her purse to get her wallet, but Simon stopped her. \"Don\'t worry about paying. You\'ve got enough with your car not working.\" The girls saw and they smiled.
\"Are you sure? I don\'t mind paying for my room.\"
\"Positive.\" He gave her their keys and the girls unpacked and went to rooms 2,3,4,and 5. Sarah got out her clothes and jumped in the shower. When she got out, she put on her night gown and crawled into bed. But just as she was about to dose off, she heard women\'s footsteps walking down the walkway outside her room. When she got up and walked to the window, she saw the sillouette of an old woman in a dress walking by the rooms. Sarah couldn\'t tell who she was, but just put it off as another guest.
July 2, 2004.......
The next morning, Sarah stretched as she got out of bed and walked to her window. Outside, she saw Simon rushing to get some other guest\'s luggage out the room to the car. As fast as he was running in to get the luggage, he was tossing it in the backseat with a look of pure fear and anxiousness. But Sarah didn\'t see the guest. Maybe it was the woman she saw last night. She walked to the bathroom to freshen up and when she went back to the window, the car was gone.
Her friends walked in through the door that connects one room to another. \"Any word from the mechanic?\" Stacy asked Sarah as she sat on the bed.
\"No. I guess he\'ll get to us when he can.\"
\"Well, that\'s not good enough?\" Amber said. She was staring at herself in the mirror and running her fingers through her hair. \"The Fourth of July is coming in two days and we have got to be in Florida in time for the celebration.\"
\"Relax. We will get there in time.\"
\"Well,\" Patty said. \"what are we supposed to do til then? I\'m getting bored.\"
\"Diddo.\" Stacy said.
Amber grew a mischevious grin across her face. \"How about we go up to that house?\"
\"What house?\" Sarah said.
\"The House. On the hill. Aren\'t you just dying to know what\'s in that place?\"
\"No.\"
\"I am.\" Stacy said, quickly raising her hand.
\"It could be fun, Sarah.\" Patty said as she sided with the other girls.
\"Three to one. I guess I don\'t have a choice, huh?\"
\"Nope.\" Said Amber.
The girls got dressed and proceeded towards the house once they saw that Simon was nowhere in sight. They walked up the steps and Patty started getting nervous. \"This place really looks creepy now that we are close on it. Maybe we should turn around.\" She started to make a U-turn, when Amber curled her arm around her shoulder.
\"Come on. Stop being a big sissy.\"
When they reached the top and started walking on the front yard, the girls noticed old newspapers all over the place that were still rolled up and tied in rubberbands, rusty car parts, car tools, and a piece of ply wood that covered up a small window at the basement. \"This guy\'s house looks like the twilight zone.\" Stacy joked.
\"What the hell is that?\" Amber asked as she pointed to the covered up window. The girls walked to the side of the house to get a closer look.
\"What are you doing up here?\" Simon asked as he came from around the corner of the house dressed in old raggedy jeans and shirt and sweat from the scorching weather was trickling down his forehead. He had -what looked like- a welding torch in his hand and he was very pissed. The girls were so shocked by him sneaking up on them, they couldn\'t speak. \"What are you doing up here?!\" He screamed at them. The girls ran passed him
and down the steps back to their hotel rooms.
July 3, 2004.......
It was day two of their stay at the One-Stop Hotel and no sign of the mechanic. Amber was starting to get worried about not making it to Florida on time and the other girls were too. Later that night, Patty went to the mini-fridge, and took a few beers out from the cooler they had packed and got drunk to bury their worries. \"Well,\" Patty said as she took a drink. All the girls were laying across Sarah\'s bed. \"this is the second day and still no sign of the mechanic. You think he\'s coming?\"
\"I hope so.\" Amber said, taking a drink herself. \"And he\'d better not think we\'re gonna pay him either. Two days and not a sign of him? He\'s not getting a dime of my damn money.\" The girls laughed.
Sarah sat up. \"Alright. Let\'s change that. Let\'s play a game or something.\"
\"I got one.\" Stacy said. \"Patty, name three professors you would like to bone.\"
Patty turned red in embarrassment. \"What?\"
\"Come on. We need some type of entertainment. Amuse us.\"
\"Fine. Um, Professor Graham, Hill, and Eykner.\"
\"Ew.\" Amber said. \"You like Eykner?\"
\"Why? What\'s wrong with him?\"
\"Let\'s just say you wouldn\'t get anywhere with him. Even if you tried.\"
\"Why do you say that?\" Sarah asked, now interested.
\"He\'s gay.\" They all laughed.
\"Ok, ok, ok.\" Patty said, even more embarrassed than before. \"Next game.\"
\"Alright........Sarah?\"
\"What?
\"Truth or Dare?\"
\"..................Dare.\"
Amber smiled. \"I dare you.......to get Simon to sleep with you.\"
\"What?!\" Sarah nearly choked on her beer. \"What did you say?\"
\"Oh get off it, Sarah. It\'s just sex. Besides, it\'s not like I\'m telling you to bang a 300 pound, bald, smelly, old man. Simon is cute and he already likes you.\"
\"True.\" Stacy said. \"He\'s cute, shy, innocent, would follow you where ever you go and do whatever you tell him to do. The ideal guy all girls secretly want to rape.\" The three girls toasted their bottles to her comment. Sarah sighed.
Amber leaned in close to Sarah. \"You know you want to. See what it feels like to fuck a guy who\'s shy and quiet.\"
The girls left a few minutes later and Sarah called the office for some fresh towels. Simon made his way to room 2 with a stack of towels in his hands. He knocked on the door and Sarah answered. \"Hey, Simon.\"
\"Hi. I\'ve got your towels for you.\"
\"Thanks. Bring them on in.\" She stepped aside for him to come in and she shut the door. She took one look at his soft creamy skin and innocent face and realized she really did want Simon. It was just something about his timidness that drove her up the wall. She knew he liked to look at her hair, so she tossed it to one side -knowing he\'d be watching- and erotically bit her lower lip. \"Listen Simon, since you\'re here I want to apologize for snooping around your house yesterday. It was stupid and it was none of our business.\" She stepped closer to him in her short pink cotton bathrobe. \"I guess I just wanted to get to know you a little better.\" She placed her hands on his shoulders. \"Do you forgive me?\" She looked deep into his eyes. Simon looked into hers, but quickly turned his head away.
\"I forgive you.\"
Sarah smiled. She thought it was so adorable, the way he would shy away from conversations. She placed her hands around his face and turned him back towards hers. \"Why do you always look away from me?\" She whispered. \"I know you\'re attracted to me. I\'d see your quick glances my way. Do you like me, Simon?\" Sarah asked him with her hands still about his face.
He didn\'t answer.
\"Do you like me Simon?\" She repeated again.
Simon dropped his eyes from hers. \"Yes.\" He whispered, almost like a child.
Sarah smiled at him, then planted a soft kiss on his full lips. When she slowly saw his eyes go to back her, she kissed him again. This time, he responded. Wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, Sarah cocked her head to one side and passionately kissed him; occasionally slipping her tongue in his mouth.
Nervous, Simon unknowingly let the towels in his hand drop to the floor. She backed away from him and started unbuttoning his shirt. Once opened, Sarah ran her fingers up and down the middle of his chest, then slid the shirt off his shoulders. She began kissing and sucking on his neck, all the while, Simon still stood there, not touching Sarah.
She heard a faint moan escape his lips and Sarah pulled him by his belt to the edge of the bed, where she sat down and began undoing his pants. Simon\'s breath came short and he started to take in short breaths. Sarah could feel his body shaking. She could tell he was nervous. But when she pulled his pants down his legs, she saw he was aroused as well.
Laying him back on the bed, Sarah removed her robe and while naked, she crawled on top of him and gently pressed her warm and still wet body against his. She kissed him all around his mouth, ear, and neck. Simon sighed as he tried to calm his nerves.
\"Put your hands on me.\" Sarah whispered in his ear. Slowly, Simon placed his hands on her thigh and hips as she tightened her legs around his waist to better straddle him. While looking deep into his eyes, Sarah gently reached down between them and placed his erection inside her.
At first, she didn\'t move. Sarah wanted to let the sexual energy pulsate through their bodies. The mood really took over her when she felt a shiver flow throughout her body, like she was experiencing a cold chill. Then she finally started pumping her hips over him. Their moans were almost simultaneous.
\"Are you alright? Do you want me to go faster?\" Sarah asked Simon. Simon, too overwhelmed to speak, nodded his head. She pumped faster and Simon closed his arms around her and pressed her body closer to his as she closed her eyes and tried her hardest to keep from moaning too loud as she neard an orgasm.
Their final climax was approaching, and Sarah closed her eyes tight and gritted her teeth so she wouldn\'t scream in sexual pleasure. But she couldn\'t hold it anymore when she finally came. \"Ah........Ah!...........AH!..........OH Simon!\" She screamed as her young body shivered during her orgasm.
\"Hello mother.\" Simon said once he returned home later that same night.
\"Don\'t hello mother me. Where were you? You were supposed to have fixed dinner.\"
\"At the hotel.\"
\"Doing what? And don\'t you lie to me boy.\"
\"I was with the girl from room 2.\"
\"You slept with her, didn\'t you? I can smell the sex all over you.\"
\"Mama, it just kind of happened. I......\"
\"You are unbelieveable. Everytime I turn around, you\'re always doing something stupid! You weren\'t worth the trouble of bringing into this world! Now get your forward ass downstairs and fix my dinner!\" Simon quietly walked back downstairs.
July 4, 2004.......
Simon woke up early that morning, to get ready for work at the hotel. But before he got settled in the office, he grabbed a fresh bouquet of red roses from the gift shop they had in the back and made his way to room 2. He raised his hand to knock, but he stopped himself when he heard the sound of girl\'s laughter from inside.
\"So,\" Amber said as the girls crowded around Sarah on the bed. \"How was it?\"
Sarah tried not to smile. \"It was good.\"
\"That\'s all you can say? Good?\"
\"What do you want me to say?\"
\"I don\'t know. He wasn\'t little was he?\"
\"No,\" Sarah thought about they way he looked last night and smiled. \"He\'s definately not little.\"
\"Did you ride him like a pony?\" Stacy asked.
\"No. It was more like I rode him like a thoroughbred.\" The girls cheered.
\"You oughta know Stacy.\" Patty said. \"We were all in my room listen........sorry Sarah. We couldn\'t help ourselves.\"
Amber clapped her hands. \"Way ta go Sarah. I didn\'t think you would do it. Being since you have no ties with him. Or do you? Do you like him now, Sarah?\"
Sarah wanted to say yes. That during that time where she was kissing him, undressing him, and touching his virgin body, she had fallen for him. Not full blown LOVE, but she felt something for him. But she couldn\'t tell them. She couldn\'t tell them she experienced multiple orgasms along with him. Her stuck up buddies who always date jocks and popular boys, would never understand her taking a liking to a quiet, sweet, job-holding guy. \"No. Just a quick fuck. That\'s all.\"
Simon stepped away from the door. Confusion overtook him and he shook his head in disbelief. Could she have really done this to him? Taken his virginity like that and not care? Are all girls outside his town really that carefree? How could she be so inconsiderate? And her friends? They all just sit there and laugh about it like Simon and Sarah played a boardgame last night instead of had sex.
Confusion led to hurt and water started to form in his eyes. He dropped the flowers on the ground and ran off towards the house.
\"Did you guys here something?\" Patty asked.
Sarah got of the bed and opened her door. She didn\'t see anybody but she looked down and saw a bouquet of big beautiful red roses. \"Oh God.\" Sarah said now disgusted with herself. \"He heard everything.\"
Her drunken buddies laughed. \"So?\" Amber blurted out. \"Why do you care?\"
\"She hurt you, didn\'t she?\" Simon\'s mother said when he walked into her room and sat in her rocking chair. When he didn\'t answer, she continued. \"I told you! I\'ve told you one million times, those girls today are no good! Fast girls walk all over sweet boys like you! Now look at you! Sitting here with your face hanging low! I suppose you want me to fix this!\"
\"Mama, no.\" Simon pleaded.
\"It\'s too late now!\"
Later that night, the girls separated and relaxed in their own rooms. Amber decided to take a shower, so she went into the bathroom and turned the water on. Then she walked back into the room and pulled out a change of clothes.
Cutting the shower head on, Amber ran her fingers through her auburn hair. Meanwhile, Mama Durberfield put the key in the lock and walked inside Amber\'s room. Hearing the water on, she started for the bathroom without delay.
Amber\'s eyes were closed when Mama walked in with an axe in her hand. Amber could sense movement in the bathroom and she opened her eyes and saw a woman staring at her, though she couldn\'t make her out that well due to the frosted glass shower door. But she did see the weapon. \"What the hell?!\" Mama slammed open the door and raised her axe. Amber couldn\'t even scream before Mama came down with the axe, killing her.
Stacy was laying across her bed watching tv, when Mama crawled through the window in her bathroom. Mama beat her for a while before she bashed Stacy\'s head in with the blunt end of the axe.
Patty was already in bed taking a nap, when Mama walked in through the adjacent door. She wasted no time chopping her up into nine pieces. Patty never knew what was coming.
Sarah was watching tv when she heard some type of commotion in the next room, but then it stopped. \"What is Patty doing over there?\" She went back to watching tv, but she couldn\'t concentrate on it because she was thinking about the way she treated Simon. If only she could go back in time and take back what she said, she would in a heartbeat. She enjoyed Simon\'s company and felt terrible that she hurt his feelings so badly. She wondered what he was doing now. Was he sitting alone at home? Or had he forgotten all about it and moved on? How would she speak to him when she passed by him now that she had said what she\'d said?
Sarah heard the door open then shut in Patty\'s room and she wondered if she was coming to her room. She got up and walked to her door to open it. Before she could, the door had burst open and it sent her falling backwards. Sarah, a bit dazed, tried to see who the silhouette was. She saw the outline of a dress and large hair framed around the face. \"A....Are you M....Mrs. D....Durberfield?\" Sarah stammered.
\"I am.\" Mama answered in the same english accent as her son, though hers was more feminine but still harbored a hint of huskiness to it. Mama looked at the door number. \"Room 2. You the girl who took advantage of my son?\"
\"I.....I didn\'t take advantage of your son, Mrs. Durberfield.\"
Mama pulled out her axe from behind her and Sarah\'s eyes got wider. \"Oh yes you did.\" She started walking closer to Sarah and Sarah started crawling backwards towards the light in the bathroom. \"You hurt my baby, and now you\'re gonna pay.\" Mama swung down at Sarah and missed. Sarah got up and ran to the bathroom, shutting and locking it.
\"Don\'t kill me!\" Mama started hammering at the door, gradually breaking it down. Sarah, all the while, tried to pry open her window, but it wouldn\'t budge because paint had sealed the sides. \"No!\" Sarah continued to fidget with the window, but Mama had bursted her way inside. In the light, Sarah was able to get a good look at Mrs. Durberfield. \"Simon?!\" Mrs. Durberfield wasn\'t Mrs. Durberfield. Simon had put make up all over his face, pearl earrings and necklace, and put on one of his mother\'s long dresses.
\"I\'m sorry...\" He said still using his mother\'s voice. \"Simons not in right now, can I take a message?\" He swung at her again and she wrapped him up in the shower curtain. Sarah ran out the hotel room and raced for the house on the hill. Simon was right behind her.
Once inside, she grabbed a cordless phone and hid herself in the closet under the stairs. \"911, may we help you?\"
\"Hello,\" Sarah whispered. \"There is a crazy man dressed as a woman here who\'s trying to kill me.\"
\"Dressed as a woman, m\'am?\"
\"Yes!\"
\"We\'ll get the police there right away. What\'s the address?\" Just then, Simon burst through the front door and started scanning for Sarah. \"M\'am, the address?\" Sarah couldn\'t answer, if she were to speak, Simon would know where she was.
\"Sarah?\" Simon said still in his mother\'s voice. But when he got no answer, his voice changed to something much much more deeper than his own. \"Where are you you little bitch!\" Sarah tried to keep quiet, but she was so scared, she couldn\'t control her breathing. Simon heard her and slowly walked to the closet door. \"Are you in there?\" He asked in his mother\'s voice again. Sarah still didn\'t answer, so Simon slung the axe in the door, trying to break it down. He heard a scream and he knew she was there and continued swinging.
When he got it open enough, Simon pulled her out by her arm. \"And what\'s this?\" He snatches the phone away from her. \"Were you using the phone? My son should\'ve told you. We charge for phone calls.\"
\"You\'re crazy.\"
\"And you\'re dead.\"
Sarah slammed her knee between Simon\'s legs. He screamed in agony and dropped to his knees and Sarah ran upstairs. She walked the halls in search of a weapon: a knife, shotgun, bat, anything. When she heard Simon stomping up the stairs, she hid behind the bathroom door. Axe in hand, Simon walks by the door and Sarah comes out with a vase and bashes it on the back of his head. He was knocked down but not out. Sarah ran back down the stairs to the front door. Simon took his axe and threw it at her direction, but instead it slammed into the wall. He leaped over the banister and landed back on the bottom floor. He grabbed her by the back of her neck before she could reach the door. \"Please don\'t kill me.\" Sarah whispered. \"Please Simon. I\'m sorry about what I said.\" She started to sob. \"I care for you.\"
\"Bullshit.\" He slammed her against the door. His hand still around her neck. \"You didn\'t care about my baby. \'Just a quick fuck\'. Isn\'t that what you said?\"
\"I didn\'t mean it! If you could only understand the position my friends put me through.......\"
\"Oh I understand perfectly well. Sure, he may have been sweet, kind, good in bed. You may had even liked him a little. But when it came to telling your friends whether he mean\'t anything to you or not, you.....chickened......out. So what does that say to me? You\'re a phony. You didn\'t care about him at all. Because if you did, you would\'ve told your friends you liked Simon and not cared what they thought about it.\"
Tears ran down Sarah\'s face. \"I\'m sorry. I didn\'t mean to hurt you. If I could take it all back, I would. You\'ve got to believe that.\"
\"He may, but I don\'t. And as far as I am concerned, it\'s too late now to apologize.\" He shoved her away from the door. \"Now get downstairs.\"
Some time between him being at the top of the stairs to the bottom, Simon changed from a womanly, energetic mother, to something more calmer and slower. When Sarah got to the basement, she immediately saw parts of the car, Simon was loading the luggage in two days ago. \"What did you do to the people who owned that car?\" Sarah asked.
\"He\'s dead.\" Simon said using the same base voice he used when he first came into the house. He sat her down in a chair and tied her arms and legs down with duct tape. \"He refused to pay for his room. So I melted his face with a welder.\" He walked away from her to the workbench and gently grazed his hand over the tool. \"Just like what I\'m going to do to you.\"
\"Their it is. 100 Doolan Drive.\" Dectective Kelley Fuller was telling her partner, Donald Parrish. They turned down the road. \"So how many days has it been since the wife has heard from Mr. Duncan?\"
\"Four days I believe. He was supposed to meet his wife in Nevada to spend some time with her family, but he never came.\"
\"When was the last she heard from him?\"
\"He called her on July 1 later that night from the One-Stop Motel. He said he was going to pull out early the next morning and expect him sometime early the next morning. She heard nothing from him after that.\"
\"Theirs the motel.\" Dect. Fuller pointed to the sign. \"I don\'t see a burgundy Cherokee anywhere.\" Parrish pulled the car in.
\"Well, we can always ask. I see a black car over there. Maybe we can ask them if they know anything about Mr. Duncan.\" They got out the car and split up. Fuller walked to the office and Parrish walked to room 4.
\"No ones in here!\" Fuller yelled to him.
\"Kelley, you need to get over here right now!\" Dect. Fuller raced down the walkway to room 4 and looked inside. A girl was laying across her bed, but was beaten really badly all over her body and decapitated. Blood was splattered on the walls.
\"Oh my.......\"
\"What the hell is going on here?\" Quickly they checked the rest of the rooms.
\"Damn it!\" Simon yelled as he struggled to turn on the flame for the welder.
\"Simon......\"
\"Shut up!\"
\"Simon, please don\'t do this! I know this isn\'t you! You don\'t kill! You don\'t hurt people! You can fight this! Come back Simon!\" Simon put down the welder and started twitching, like he was fighting with himself. But the killer took over him once again and he ripped off a piece of duct tape and placed it on her mouth.
\"I said shut up.\"
Dect. Fuller and Parrish bursted into the house once they recieved no answer from the doorbell. They heard voices in the basement and they ran down the steps, guns in hand. Simon had finally got the torch to work when they came down. \"Freeze! Put the torch down!\" Parrish yelled.
\"Officers. Welcome to the festivities. You\'re about to witness this young lady\'s meltdown.\" He laughed. He stepped towards her.
Fuller and Parrish cocked their guns. \"Don\'t you take another step!\" Parrish yelled. \"Put down the torch or we\'ll shoot!\" Simon turned off the torch and dropped it.
\"You two are no fun.\"
Fuller ran over to Sarah and ripped the tape off her lips. \"Are you Ok?\"
\"I\'m fine! Listen to me! Don\'t hurt him, he has schizophrenia!\"
\"Don\'t go telling all my secrets, Sarah.\"
Parrish stepped closer. \"Turn around and put your hands behind your head.\" Simon did as he told him and Parrish cuffed him while Fuller untied Sarah. When Sarah stood up, she saw Simon\'s head slowly drop and when Parrish turned him around and started to carry him out, he lifted his head and she could see in his face and eyes that the real Simon had come back.
Sarah was taken to a hospital to get checked for bruises and scratches, while Simon was taken to the local pshyciatric hospital. \"What the hell is wrong with him doc?\" Dect. Parrish asked Dr. Barry Brown.
\"Simon indeed has a multiple personality disorder. I\'ve just finished talking with him, and I\'ve noticed three different personalities. One of course is the real Simon, second was his mother, then the third was his father. Now this town is small, so I know a little about this young man. His father died when he was 9. Harry Durberfield enjoyed working on cars and ruled his house with an iron fist. Mainly abusing Simon\'s mother, Helen.\"
\"How\'d he die?\" Dect. Fuller asked.
\"He caught pneumonia. So when he died, Helen took over the house and the motel. She wasn\'t what you would call motherly material. She constantly put Simon down infront of anyone, hit him, never let him date, never letting him have friends. She claimed the only friends he needed to have was his family. And she was his only family. When Simon was 18, he found another man in the house with Helen. Something happened at that house, causing both the man and Helen to be killed. The police suspected Simon, but they couldn\'t link him to anything.\"
\"Can we speak to him?\" Dect. Parrish asked.
\"Sure. He\'s in room A.\"
Dect. Parrish and Fuller both walked down the hall and walked inside room A. Inside, was Simon. He had no make-up on his face, he was dressed in an all white hospital uniform, and his wrists were in plastic restraints. He was seated at a table and his face was expressionless. The dectectives sat down on the other side of the table and Dect. Parrish began. \"Simon, do you know why you\'re here?\"
\"Dr. Brown says I killed some people.\" Simon stared at the table.
\"You don\'t remember killing these people?\"
\"No.\" Then Simon started laughing to himself. \"But I do.\" He said in his mother\'s voice.
Dect. Fuller looked stunned at Parrish. \"Helen?\" She asked.
Simon slowly lifted his eyes in a very frightening manner. \"Yes?\"
\"Helen, did you kill Mr. Duncan, Amber Jones, Stacy Weatherford, and Patty Gorban?\"
\"Duncan? Heavens no. My husband killed that nonpaying bastard. I did kill those girls.\"
Parrish leaned in the table. \"Why? Why did you kill them?\"
Simon leaned in too. \"Because they hurt my baby. No one hurts my baby and gets away with it.\"
\"What about you? Do you ever hurt Simon?\"
Simon sat back in his chair and crossed his legs. \"Never.\"
\"Really? You never verbally abuse Simon?\"
\"Of course not. And when I did speak to him, it was because he was doing something wrong.\"
\"And how often was that?\" Fuller asked.
\"What\'s with all these damn questions?!\"
\"Relax Sim.....Helen. We\'re just trying to get a feel of who you are and how you treat your son.\"
\"I treat Simon fine!\"
\"What about your husband? Can we speak to him?\" They watched as Simon\'s head slowly dropped and his once frantic breathing became more calmer and slower. \"Harry?\"
\"What the hell am I doing in here?\" Simon asked in his father\'s low voice.
\"You killed someone, Mr. Durberfield.\" Parrish asked. \"You don\'t remember?\"
\"Oh yeah. That Duncan fellow. He was expendable. Just like those little tramps my wife killed.\"
\"Mr. Durberfield, you and your wife are getting your son in a lot of trouble right now. Simon could face numerous years locked up bacause of what you two did.\"
\"I don\'t give a shit. You think I give a damn about that boy or his mother? Unlike Helen, I didn\'t kill for him, I killed Duncan because the bastard wouldn\'t pay for his nights at the motel.\"
\"How did you kill Duncan?\"
\"I tied him to my worktable and melted his face with a blow torch. By the time I was done, he looked like a Ken doll that had spent too many hours in the sun.\" Simon laughed.
Fuller shook her head. \"Where is he now?\"
\"You\'re not going to find him.\"
\"Why won\'t we?\"
\"Because after I killed him, I chopped him up in little pieces and fed him to some very hungry pigs at a pig farm down the road.\" He laughed again. \"Boy were those pigs happy to see some fresh meat.\"
\"Were you aware of what was happening to those college girls?\"
\"I was. They deserved it.\" Simon gave this smirk. \"That Sarah though. She\'s a piece of work. Nice piece of ass, that one. I should\'ve bent her over, Simon\'s dumb ass didn\'t know what to do with her.\"
Simon was sentenced to 15 years in the St. Anne\'s Mental Asylum.
New Story Summary:
I\'m trying to do a me-version of Frankenstein. Some of the main characters will still be used, but I will have a few of my own stuck in it as well. I will very loosely follow the story line of Mary Shelley (those of you who don\'t know how the story unfolds, I suggest you read it), but it will basically be my baby. I got the idea to do this when I was reading Scribe\'s Child of the Night. (VERY GOOD!! Please read it if you haven\'t yet.) I loved the way she took the story of Dracula and completely made it into her own. Now, I enjoy m/f fiction, but I really have a thing for the guys. So Frankenstein will be m/m, with small bits of m/f.
Victor will start out as this young boy with hidden dreams of becoming a scientist. Then he goes off to college and meets his long time friend, Henry, who introduces him to sex. During that time, a fascination with the human body forms and he decides to create a human. A wife and son come along later, as well as more sex, lies, mysteries, murder, and of course, Frank (the gorgeous creation). I have a summary written out, but it would be too long to post on here. But if you REVIEW and ask me, I\'d be glad to e-mail you my story line.
Thanks for reading the story and please review and tell me what you think of my baby-in-works.
Author\'s note: If you read the story and like the characters or wish to create your own sequel, be my guest, just remember to give me my credit where the credit is due.
Thanks, Scribbles05
PS.
Please review. (me on knees begging)
P.S.S.
Have a thought on a new story I\'d like to write, but I want you all\'s opinion. But in order to get to the summary, you\'ll have to read this story first. (Joke. You could always scroll passed it.)
