Raine's Punishment

Raine sits at her place at the end of Josh's bed. She lets her fingertips run over the intricate designs of one of the large posters. She sighs, running her fingers through her long red hair, knowing no matter what she does she can't take her mind off of the fact that she is going to be punished. She knew then that it was wrong to resist him, even if she had never been taken in that way before. It wasn't her place to object. Yet somehow she had done it, she had broken away months of work, months of conditioning and training, because she was afraid. She jerks her head up as she hears him coming into the room, body stiffening. He hadn't spoken to her last night, he had only left. She looked up at him for a split second, seeing anger and hurt in his eyes. She knew why he was upset. He thought she didn't trust him. "Raine!" He looked down at his feet, indicating her to kneel there. He looked down at her, thinking for a moment. Raine looks down at the floor, afraid to look up at her Master. She lets the tears run down her cheeks, hands folded in her lap as she sits on her knees before him. Her pale, naked body trembles under his hard stare as she bites into her lip. "This one is sorry she has displeased her Master. This one will be good and do everything her Master asks of her. This one lives to serve her Master in any way he wishes her to."

Josh reaches down, lifting her chin slowly. He leans down, lips barely grazing hers. "You will obey me." He grabs her by the hair, jerking her head back so she can look at him. "You will be punished. I will not accept failure." Josh lets her hair go, straightening himself.
Raine drops her head forward, fighting back the sobs of fear and disappointment. She knew it was wrong to object, no matter what he asked. She sees him nod and quickly and gracefully gets to her feet, head still hung in shame.
