Everything seemed to be so unclear as she made her way down the street.
She walked so fast like the thunder with her face facing the floor. It was just sometimes when she took a quick glimpse of her surroundings revealed her secretness yet sincere beautiful brown eyes.
The sun blazed its shine on her long brown hair while the wind blew it all away. Guys’d took a second look of her fair porcelain skin as she passed by them.
Still had a tight grip of her sling bag and even tried to get away from her own shadow. But the black shadow was still after her until when heard somebody called her name, then she stopped.
Turned around and that was when she saw her very own best friend, Fred. She smiled broadly, felt so relieved to see him just like he was a hero who’d saved her from the scary black shadow.
“Hi, Melissa! That was the hundredth time I called your name? What took you so long to hear me? Having daydreams, maybe,” greeted Fred ,tried to catch his breath between his laugh. He took off his cap and adjusted his straight blond hair. He looked really handsome, honestly.
“Oh sorry I didn’t realized you..but I haven’t daydreams ok,” replied Melissa.
She couldn’t stop herself from laughing.
“Ok, that’s true,” teased Fred. Melissa opened her sling bag and handed over a pile of paper to Fred.
“I’ve been working all night just to finish typing all these. So could you please..please do the rest,” pleaded Melissa.
“Huh, what’s this? Oh yeah! Our project paper,” said Fred hesitantly as he saw Melissa’s face.
“Fred..did u do your part as I told?,” demanded Melissa, threw Fred such a devil smile. She eyed him like a cobra that could kill him.
“Emm…you know what, I’ve gotta go now or I shall be late to the lecture, bye!” replied Fred rashly, tried to get away from Melissa. Then he loped fast to the lecture hall.
“Hey, wait up! What do you think you are doing? Leave me here alone?Never!” said Melissa as she tried to trace Fred’s steps.
