The Call
Visions of you dance through my mind
I’m floating on cloud nine
I need this vision to come to light
I need to see you in plain sight
Should I risk seeing you face to face?
Should I wait until another time…same place?
Maybe a call will brighten your day
After all, you’re just one call away
My heart quickens with each dial I make
The phone nearly falls for my hands they shake
I can’t wait to hear your voice
For it makes my mouth moist
Conversation comes easy for us
Can this be love or just lust?
Only time will tell
If we’ll hear wedding bells
