The room was bare but dirty.
Boxes of old broken toys…rags discolored and old newspapers littered the floor.
The light from a gray dawn filtered into the tried room.
He lay on a mattress with no sheets or pillows
She lay next to him her naked back covered in scratches and bite marks.
He rolled a box in his hand the last wooden match rattling around in it.
One finger dragged slowly over the rough sandpaper strip ..one finger moved to pull the box open take the last match out.
He rolled over and languidly took a cigarette out.
Just as slowly and meaningfully he stuck the last match
He filled his lungs with what he needed. wanted..
Then he leaned over and put the smoke out in her cheek.
Grinding hard pushing it all the way out the other side.
She dint even have time to scream as he tossed the burning thing away and pulled out his knife cutting into her again and again
