Alone

The sighs and moans
heavy breaths
pictures flash
in minds so dark
I called to you
but no answer came
What am I to do?

I plead
I sigh
I whisper
“I miss you”
Without you
I am nothing

I know
I understand
Emotions so powerful
I fear to drown

I bleed for you
I am yours
and you are mine

Hold me
Scold me
Don’t ever leave me

I need you
I need this
With you
I know I could fly

We jump
We soar
We fly high

Without you I am nothing
Black, darkness
pain, blood
I fade from view
I am no more

I’m sorry
I wasn’t strong
I couldn’t live
without you

I tried
I bled
but it wasn’t …
enough
