My name is Alice.
That part I remember clearly.
But everything is a blur. Snow banks tossed about in the wind. I can make out the colors, the sounds, the coordinates, but nothing for sure.
I pull the edges of Jill's coat closer, savoring the warmth that the incubation tank denied me. I hate saline; salty and sterile. Angie slips underneath my arm, curling close to me. She's wearing this cherry/strawberry lip gloss. I can smell it clearly as day. It feels good to have a little sister type around again.
