Nightmare
Nightmare

Darkness seeps up to the sky.
The sun slips below.
My sanity waves goodbye.
What follows I fear and know.
Relentless turns of day and night.
When confusions comes to play.
Twist the knife.
I wish I might, I wish I may.
Shadows at my heels.
Will I reach the dawn?
Dreams can be too real.
For I am far too gone.
Madness my old friend,
Ring the midnight bell.
I round the final bend,
To fall deep into hell.
My eyes flash open,
I feel pure fear flare.
Memories the only token,
Of my dark nightmare.
