Sprite and Wolfie

Sprite & Wolfie: A Love Story

Sprite opened her eyes and brushed a lock
of hair out of the way. She sat up,
stretched, then slid out of bed and sighed.

If only Wolfie was here, she thought.

She imagined a man with a strong, hairy
chest and large, muscular arms, holding her,
caressing her. A quiet moan escaped her lips.

Goodness! Sprite blushed. She didn't like to
admit that she liked men. It embarrassed the
main personality, Terry.

As soon as she thought about Terry, he
appeared.

Confusion was the first order of the day.
How did he awake sitting up? And why was he
always so aroused in the morning?

Sometimes Terry felt like a slave to his
hormones. But he didn't have time for
pleasure. He had to go to work.

Too late... Now Wolfie surfaced and took
over. Wolfie wouldn't be denied. He thought
about taking a beautiful brown-eyed brunette
and bending her over the bed face down. It
was one of his favorite positions. Every
position was his favorite position. He
was lust personified.

But there was one person, or more accurately,
personality, that Wolfie actually loved. It
was Sprite. He couldn't fantasize about her
body since they both shared it. But he loved
her soul. It was a sweet, gentle soul that
was the perfect complement to his own.

*****

The days slowly slid into the future and
the three personalities - Terry, Sprite and
Wolfie - continued to coexist. They were
together in the same body but they could
only appear one at a time. It was very
frustrating for two of them. Sprite dreamt
of Wolfie and Wolfie dreamt of Sprite. Terry
seemed pretty much oblivious.

After some time, Sprite found that she could
influence her host in subtle ways. It wasn't
like Wolfie's irresistible urges. She just
got Terry interested in learning certain
things. She was interested in spirituality
as a means of transcending her situation.
There had to be a better life for her.

Terry read all sorts of books for Sprite
without realizing it. He read about altered
states of consciousness, pyramid power,
auras, witchcraft and many other topics.

There was one idea he kept coming back to -
astral projection, also known as out-of-body
experiences. For some reason, having an
out-of-body experience became very important
to him.

*****

After many different books on the subject
and many attempts, Sprite had almost lost
hope. Try as she might, she just couldn't
seem to project her Astral body. She was
sure it was possible. Her host had done it
as a child. He floated up and out of his
room, down the hall and then snapped
suddenly back into his body, waking him up.
It was a classic out-of-body experience.

She didn't really give up. She couldn't.
There was too much at stake. It was horrible
feeling trapped in the wrong body. It was
like having a very long bad dream. But she
needed a break.

Sprite decided that she would distract
herself with other things. There was so much
beauty in the world and so many wonderful
things to do. She couldn't dwell on her lack
of success with her plan. It was too
depressing.

*****

Finally, after many years, a chain of
events started that would solve Sprite's
and Wolfie's problem of separate
togetherness. It started with a book about
different aspects of astral projection.
Sprite read that the astral body could be
made solid. If only it was true, she sighed.

She redoubled her efforts and got a friend
interested in having trips out of the body.
If she couldn't figure it out, then perhaps
her friend, Rhona, could and then help her.
If nothing else, Rhona would help motivate
her to keep trying.

Even Wolfie was excited now - excited about
something other than sex. He wasn't sure
what was going on but if it made Sprite
happy, it made him happy.

*****

Up to now, Sprite still hadn't achieved an
out-of-body experience. But mystical forces
were at work. Someone or something out there
in the universe loved Sprite as much as
Wolfie. It was some sort of entity, for lack
of a better word.

The Entity felt Sprite's pain and wanted to
do something - something grand. Celestial
bodies were manipulated, sending a strange
mix of energy and stardust hurtling towards
the inner solar system. In a matter of
several months, Sprite would have her wish.

*****

The Entity's celestial plan was only a few
days from completion and Sprite felt it. She
knew something strange and wonderful was
happening. That night proved it. She had her
first out-of-body experience.

Her astral body took the form of her host's
body at first. But she was able to reshape
it into a shorter, more slender female body
after a little effort. Then she transferred
energy from her physical body and solidified
the astral body.

Sprite walked over to the bed and touched
the pillow. It was soft and felt exactly as
a pillow should feel. Then she poked her
physical body - actually Terry - in the
ribs. Terry didn't stir at all.

Seeing Terry in bed proved too much for her.
She snapped back into her prison and Terry
woke up, just as he had when he astrally
projected as a boy.

He remembered having the short out-of-body
trip but he was confused. His body didn't
feel right while he was projecting. He laid
back down and slowly drifted back to sleep,
hoping for a repeat performance.

*****

The next day, Sprite e-mailed her friend
Rhona as usual and told Rhona all about her
experience. They both felt the strange energy
in the air, and they chatted on endlessly
about the possibilities.

The next night was perfect for astral
projection. People all around the world were
doing it. Most of them, including Rhona,
weren't very successful. They flitted around
in their astral bodies, passing through doors
and walls. Then fear quickly brought them
abruptly back to their bodies. Not very many
of them remembered their strange evening. If
they did remember, they thought it was a
dream.

Sprite was ready. Her astral body immediately
took her female form and solidified. Then she
turned and stood in the dark bedroom,
watching Terry breathe. She was afraid to
touch him. She thought that if she did, she
would snap back and end the experience.

She stood five feet away and just watched
for awhile. Five, ten, perhaps 60 minutes
had passed - time had little meaning for
Sprite in her astral body - when something
astonishing happened. Terry started mumbling
in his sleep.

Sprite dared to edge closer and bent down to
listen. It wasn't Terry, it was Wolfie!

"Sprite! Where are you Sprite? I miss you.
Come back to me..."

Sprite started crying. It was Wolfie and
somehow he knew she was out of their mutual
body. She tried calling to him but her
astral body couldn't make any sound.

Maybe he can hear my thoughts, she thought.
Wolfie! It's Sprite! I'm here. I'm right
next to you. Can you hear my thoughts?
Please Wolfie! Please hear me!

There was no response. Sprite bent over her
host and continued crying. An astral tear
dripped onto Terry's mouth and he licked his
lips. Then his eyes opened. He couldn't move
his head but he moved his eyes to look up at
the astral form.

Sprite was shocked. She jumped back a few
feet and stared.

Could that be Wolfie, she thought.

She didn't know it but Terry could hear her
thoughts. It took great effort but he
eventually croaked out a reply.

"Who's Wolfie?"

Sprite was disappointed. She finally has a
prolonged out-of-body experience and Terry
wakes up. She decided to make the best of
things and tried thinking a message to him.

Hi Terry. Isn't this weird?

Now Terry was really confused. He was just
woken up by a crying telepathic apparition
who knew his name, and to top it off, he
found himself to be mostly paralyzed.
Somehow he knew he wasn't dreaming. He had
so many questions but he still haoublouble
talking. He decided to answer the woman's
question.

"Yes."

Try thinking, she thought. You seem to be
having trouble talking so try thoughts.

Okay. Hi. Smile if you hear me, Terry
thought.

She gave him a warm smile that melted his
heart.

Who are you? Terry asked.

Sprite explained how she was astrally
projecting from his body. She proved it by
showing him the silver cord that attached
her to his body. Once more, fear took over.
It was a bit too much for Terry and he
reeled in his astral body and snapped awake.

He was wired now. He doubted he would be
sleeping the rest of the night so he threw
the covers off and got up to read his books
on astral projection. He didn't remember
reading about anything like the experience
he just had. He spent the rest of the night
looking for something similar.

*****

Tonight was the night. The strange energy
would hit its peak and everyone around the
world would be astrally projecting. Most of
them would have full control. The world was
in for a wild ride.

Terry hadn't gotten enough sleep the night
before but he was afraid he'd be too excited
to sleep. He went for a five mile walk and
worked out at home. After two hours of
exercising and a long hot shower, nothing
could keep him awake. He was asleep as soon
as his head hit the pillow.

After the normal deep sleep cycle, Terry
started dreaming. Now Sprite took control.
She left her sleeping host and once more
solidified her female astral body. She turned
around and Terry already had his eyes open.

Sprite sent her thoughts to him.

Terry? Is that you?

"Who's Terry?" Wolfie said with no trouble as
he turned his head towards her.

Sprite's eyes went wide. Then her smile lit
up the room and she ran to hug Wolfie.

"Sprite? Is that you?"

Yes yes yes yes yes yes!

Wolfie wanted to ask her more but she broke
off the hug and kissed him. He didn't
protest. He returned the kiss and for the
next several hours they were in ecstasy.
After 40 year of life, Terry indirectly
found complete bliss through his two extra
personalities.

*****

The world was in chaos. Everyone was leaving
their bodies, floating and flying everywhere
with complete control. Astral people walked
through top secret military bases, flew
alongside airplanes, spied on neighbors
taking showers, and more. There would be no
secrets tomorrow, if tomorrow ever came.

*****

Sprite and Wolfie knew this strange
out-of-body experience couldn't be repeated.
They felt the strange energy reach full power
during this night and then felt it waning.
This was to be their only night together and
they made the most of it.

Totally spent after their hours of
lovemaking, the astrally-linked couple
cuddled in bed and talked about the future.
They decided they couldn't go on living as
they had in the past. It would be unbearable
for them to never be able to recreate this
moment. There was only one option left. They
must fully integrate with Terry's personality.

Think of the new Terry as our child, Sprite
thought to Wolfie. He will be a new person
in the morning - the result of our union.

Wolfie smiled but his eyes betrayed his
sadness.

"Yes, my dearest Sprite. Conception and birth
all in one night. It will be both unusual and
beautiful. I can think of no better way to
end this night."

Sprite couldn't help but cry at his words. It
was the most touching thing Wolfie had ever
said.

Rhona was out of her body and on her way to
visit Sprite. She hoped for a pleasant
reunion but somehow sensed that something was
wrong.

She arrived just in time to see a tearful
good-bye playing out between Sprite and
Wolfie. It was a little confusing at first
but Sprite saw Rhona and explained
everything. Hugs were exchanged and, in a
flash, it was over.

Rhona stood crying over a sleeping Terry -
mourning the loss of Sprite and Wolfie. She
consoled herself with Sprite's last words:
Sprite and Wolfie would no longer be
separate, distinct entities but they would
still live on as a part of Terry.

*****

The world survived but it was a vastly
different place. Terry was upset. He felt
strange but didn't remember a thing about
last night. He had to be satisfied with all
of the stories about uncovered secrets and
falling governments.

Over the next several weeks, Sprite and
Wolfie surfaced in Terry's messages. Terry
thought he was simply playing but Rhona knew
better. Every time Terry signed a message with
the name Sprite or Wolfie, Rhona felt a wave
of sadness wash over her. She would never
tell Terry what happened to him on that
bittersweet night of unrestrained astral
projection. It would haunt her for the rest
of her life.

*The End*
