Burning Desire
My heart burns for your love;
why do you torment me so?
Up all day & all night, I wait for you
To come home
Why do you leave me alone?
I love you & always will,
I give what you desire;
yet you leave me waiting at home.
Can this truly be love?
Is this what I meant it to be?
Your love for me is like
A dark, dark cloud over my head
following me wherever I go.
I cannot love another
who does not love me so
