One Love
What is the worry that wanders through this world?
Worry of love for one boy and one girl.
The thought of no love kills me inside.
The thought that your love might pass me by.
The killings and wars tear the world apart
but love stays whole only in our heart.
Without love, nothing would be.
The truth in the eyes that no one can see.
For only one second of peace in this world of hate
would be as heaven inside those pearly gates.
The rains of peace wash away the wars
and all things evil would be no more.
For evil lives only in our minds,
and only love can save mankind.
The words I speak are forgotten so soon,
like she sun is forgotten in the rise of the moon.
But my love for you will never fade
as the dark of the night errupts into day.
I love you now and will forever.
In our hearts we are always together.
No one can take the love that we hold,
but as all things are, it goes untold,
my love for you will never die,
but will float forever as a cloud in the sky.
In a desert of hopes this one grain of sand
except for the love of one woman and one man.
