Cookiecutters in the Dark
The darkness clouds
my heart.
It covers everything
in a purple haze.
Am I to see
through it?
Who knows.
More and more,
it seems the answer
is no.
Every time I find
something I like,
someone I like,
it\'s never right.
Something always
goes wrong.
Something never
fits just right.
Maybe it\'s me.
Maybe I\'m wrong.
Maybe I\'m what
doesn\'t fit.
I want to.
Gods, I want to.
I\'m tired of never
fitting any mold.
I\'m tired of always
being different.
Sometimes...
Just sometimes...
I\'d like to be
like them...
