Insight
By Veil of Illusions
Deep into my soul
pictures and thoughts tumble
swirling chaos
hiding the truth
no one can see
false front
slowly chipped away
why now?
good? bad?
don\'t let them see
they won\'t understand
desires, wants
could it be real?
want it to be real
can I let it all out?
no, not yet, not ever
but pushing and prodding
no closer no deeper
you won\'t like what you see
my true self
what I really think
lock it all away
lock it deep inside
hide it in the darkness
insight to my soul
A/N I wrote this in english class. We were supposed to write whatever popped into our heads. I hope you like it. It seems to me we all have things we want to hide and never let out. The question is what are you hiding and is it worth it?
