She looked so happy
Staring up at me
But when I went inside her head
I found out that she was so depressed
She couldn’t handle living
I knew her soul was bleeding
I just didn’t know how bad
I saw the scars that covered her skin
I saw them bleed when things were dim
I remember when this girl was innocent
I remember when she cared
I sit here and cry
As I watch her die
I never thought it would end this way
On this woeful day
