Forsake the cake and eat the bread instead
Forsake the cake
And eat the bread instead.....
A spate of reality of late
Brought me to this debate
A sip, a trip, a rip at my fragility
Made me relate
As I party with the martyr
Big ballin, quickly fallin
For the lies
Hidden behind brown eyes
Cut and torn, and never worn
My shrowd was thrown to the crowd
Burned by my endless fate
Hurt and folded, never older
Nearer, yet further everyday
When will I stay?
Follow the yellow brick road
Reap what you sow
And forever will seem just a single day
Fight the norm, don\'t conform
Don\'t give up your individuality
Just be
And make your own reality
Normalcy, Complaicentcy
Mundane sentances starting with \"I\"
One sided, small minded
Truth and Lies
Sleep or weep
Drink or sink
Excape at all costs
But in the blink of an eye
When you start to cry
You find what it is you lost
I fell behind all mankind
Trying to break out of the institution
I tried to enhance my chance of evolution
But instead I fell in bed with the revolution
Now it seems ..yes its true
All this time
All I needed was you
And eat the bread instead.....
