Best Friends

Ellen sits on the couch after putting away the last bit of stuff. It was offical the apartment was now her home. Well her and Allen\'s of course. Allen is Ellen\'s best friend. They have been since high school. Both droping out of school together. They had gotten jobs and saved up to move into a apartment together. And now they had done it and were out on their own. The pair both being 18 now.

Allen walks out of his bedroom and sits on the couch. He looks at Ellen \"Well we are all moved in now.\" He smiles \"We did it. We are finially on our own.\"

Ellen nods at his words with a small smile. she lays on the couch resting her head on his leg and looks up at him. \"Yep we did\" She yawns and streches \"So what you wanna do now ?\"

He shrugs. \"I guess we could watch a movie then go to sleep. We both can sleep in tomorrow. No work for three days.\" He grins. Ellen nods.

\"sounds like a plan to me\" she sits up and walks over to the video case. Looking over the titles of their movies \"So what you want to watch?\" Allen shrugs. She looks back at the movies \"How about Darkness Falls?\"

\"Its ok with me\" Alllen stands and walks towards the kitchen \"I will get us something to drink and some popcorn. You put the movie on\"

Ellen shrugs and gets the movie. She turns on the dvd player and the tv and puts the movie in. While it loads she Calls to Allen \"I am gonna put my Pj\'s on. Be right back alright\" She walks into her bedroom shutting the door behind her.

Allen walks into the living room with two cans of faygo and a bowl of popcorn. He sets it on the coffee table and walks into his bedroom deciding to put his pajama shorts on as well. He steps out of his room a minute later wearing a pair of gray shorts. He sits on the couch in the living room and waits for Ellen.

Ellen comes out of her room a minute later wearing a baggy black t-shirt and black cotton shorts. She sits next to Allen and uses the remote to start the movie. She pulls a blanket over her legs. \"Been awhile since I seen this one\" She smiles slightly at Allen. He wraps his arm around her, she then lays her head on his shoulder as the movie starts. The pair are so worn out they fall asleep like that half way through the movie.

Two Hours Later

Ellen awakens. Allen has his arm wraped tight around her still. She looks up at his sleeping face and smiles. I love you Allen it was true. She was in love with her best friend and had been since the day they met. But she could never tell him. She loved how their friendship was. And she didnt want to make it weird if she said something and he didnt feel the same.

She goes to pull herself, away but he pulls her closer in his sleep. As he does so he brings her lips to his in a kiss. Ellen sits their in shock at first then closes her eyes and purrs slightly. She reluctantly pulls away from Allen while hes sleeping and gently shakes him awake. He looks at her.

\"What ell?\" He yawns. She smiles.

\"Come on lets get in our beds and sleep.\" She stands. He stands with her and carries the blanket as they go to where their rooms are. Allen walks into Ellen\'s bedroom with her. He places the blanket that had been covering the two of them on her bed. She looks at him \"whats up?\"

Allen shrugs \"Was wondering if maybe you would want to sleep in the same bed together. Since the heat isnt on yet its freezing in the house. We could keep eachother warm.\" Ellen nods in agreement.

\"My bed or yours?\" she asks. Allen shrugs.

\"Yours I guess since we are already in here\" Ellen nods and climbs into the bed under the covers Alllen does the same. Ellen lays her head on his chest and yawns. He smirks \"Gonna use me for a pillow huh?\" She nods.

\"you make a great pillow what can i say.\" She closes her eyes. He to closes his eyes with his arm wraped around Ellen the pair fall asleep.
