You stood there in my doorway like so many times before. Listening to me talk about life. But today something was different. Was it that sweet little smile? Was it that sparkle in your eye? I could feel how much you wanted me, but I could also sense your fear. I wanted desperately to kiss you, to have you in my arms. But darling I too was afraid. I didn\'t want to push you too far. I didn\'t want you to pull away. I asked you quietly to come and sit with me on my bed. You walked so slowly I thought you\'d never get there. As you sat down I noticed that your hands were shaking. Without thinking I reached out and took your hands in mine. Our eyes met. I could drown in the depths of your eyes. I\'ve never seen a more beautiful shade of brown. Like melted chocolate.
