It’s so cool and oh so smooth.
I wonder if I should.
Should I drag the edge across my arm?
Let the crimson blood flow.

Scratched and hit myself.
Should I take the next step?
Should I part my flesh with this blade?

But will I be able to resist,
The next time the blade calls my name?
The metal gleams silver in the light.
I stare at its simple beauty.
