The Day That Killed The Moon
Another Poem
The Day That Killed The Moon
THe night was blinded by the day that killed the moon
For it to be ressurected tonight
Beat the spoiled with thier own silverspoon
And resore the truth to our sight
The days are often wasted by thier underlings
Wasting the days away
Toying with vainity and other useless things
Finding ignce nce in ignorant ways
(waiting for dusk again)
Trapped in thier dark vast void
Stars light the sky and shower the earth in fire
Ironic that we are thier witness yet we avoid
The fact that our petty problems arent so dire
Explosions of celestrial force both calm and temperamental
The solar and lunar battle wages
Yet all of our emotions, Loving, Fearful..Sentimental
Are reborn with hope throughout the ages
