Unbearable
The Unbearable Day
What do I do? I feel as if I was lost at sea.
Tossed back and forth by the bitter cold waves of life.
All I see is the gray clouds hovering closely above, suffocating me. Am I drowning? I can barely break the surface.
The blanket of the ocean feels impenetrable like solid ice.
But I can see through it like a looking glass.
Is that what it is? The proverbial gateway to the rabbit hole.
Thin as paper, tough as a blade.
The blade that holds me, that imprisons me.
The blade that will one day free me from my flesh.
That flesh that binds, that keeps me tethered to this universe.
