Self-Loathing
I look into the mirror.
Ha! What a joke.
A waste of earthly flesh.
No good for anything.
Except as an example.
“Be good or you’ll end up like her.”
That’s what they will say.
When I’m gone and far away.
Wasted everything I was ever given.
Life, effort, and time.
Can’t turn to death.
Too much of a coward to face it.
I look for a future.
And I see none for me.
,cause I’m just a hopeless idiot.
Who pissed away her chances.
So I look in that mirror.
Which they say never lies.
Bullshit, if that were so,
It would show the pieces of my pathetic life.
