That time I knew you\'d changed
I never saw it coming
never looked beyond the tears
I thought we had years
I was wrong
Still I didn\'t understand
wouldn\'t allow myself to cry
wouldn\'t allow you to die
tho I knew you would
I know you have
Yet I don\'t believe
my heart won\'t allow it
my mind can\'t comprehend it
my body is tired of the pain
You have to come back again
I saw you were weak
I didn\'t see
I felt the changes inside you
I felt nothing
I banished the truth from my soul
from my sight
Come home, please
Make it all right
