Loving You From Afar

Hello, this is just somthing that I wrote because I had some free time on my hands. If you would be kind enough to review, I would be delighted! ^_^ Thank you for reading.

Chapter 1

With a sigh of relief, Hikael entered his house, glad it was the weekend. His History teacher had loaded him down with
homework, not to mention the Science project due the next week.
\"Damn corrupted system...\" he grumbled to himself.
As he headed to his room, he cursed his brother for having driven home from school without him. Then again, maybe Tir had left because he had a date with his girlfriend.
\"That girl...\"Hikael thought bitterly, flopping down on his bed.
Tir\'s girlfriend\'s name was Elda. She was nice enough he supposed, but Hikael felt a strange dislike for her. Perhaps it was partly due to an event a week prior when he had stumbled into Tir\'s room and saw Tir and Elda making out on top of Tir\'s bed. Hikael had hastily apoligized and left the room, fleeing to the garden. A strange feeling of pain had come over him when he had witnessed that, and ever since then he hadn\'t been at all fond of Elda.
It was strange really, disliking someone as much as he disliked her and not knowing the reason why. Just then he heard a car pull up.
\"Is Tir home?\" Hikael thought, brightening up immediatly.
Sure enough, a minute later Tir came into his room with a grin on his face.
\"Hikael. I\'m sorry I didn\'t wait for you after school, but I forgot to tell you that I had a date with Elda.\"
Hikael laughed.
\"It\'s alright, I kind of figured you would be with her.\"
Tir shook his head smiled.
\"You really don\'t like her do you?\" he said as he pulled out a red envelope.
Hikael eyed the envelope with interest. \"What is that?\" He asked.
Tir shrugged and handed it to Hikael. \"It was taped to the door outside. It has your name on it.\"
Sure enough, on the front of the red envelope was his name written in neat penmanship. It must have been placed on the door after he had come home, because it wasn\'t there when he got home.
\"Open it!\" Tir urged. \"I want to see what it is.\"
Hikael opened it and inside was a note that said:

Dear Hikael,
I am writing this to tell you that I am in love with you. At first I tried to ignore it but my feelings wouldn\'t go away. You know me, so don\'t worry, I\'m not some creepy stalker. I will not reveal my identity to you, not yet anyway. I will continue to send you notes, and in time I will tell you who I am. Just know that I love you.

Love,
Red Sabre

Hikael immediatly began to blush and he handed it to Tir, wondering who it could be.
Tir burst out laughing, causing Hikael to look at him in confusion. \"What\'s so funny?\"
Tir, still laughing said \"Hikael, really. Anyone who calls themself Red Sabre is not someone you want to meet! It\'s probably symbolic to his personality. What if it is some BDSM obsessed pervert? Hmm?\"
Hikaels eyes went wide. \"How do you know it\'s a guy?\"
Tir rolled his eyes. \"Do you really think that a girl would say something like that?\"
\"Maybe...\" Hikael aswered.
Tir just smirked.
\"I don\'t think so, but show me the notes if you get any others. Can\'t have some pervert trying to get into my little brothers pants!\" Hikael rolled his eyes as Tir left the room laughing.
Hikael sighed and flopped back into his bed. What was this feeling that came over him when his brother got near him? \"This is wrong...\" he thought to himself. \"I shouldn\'t be haveing feelings like this for my brother.\" But it all made sense now. Why he so disliked Elda. The feelings of sadness that came over him when he saw them together. But it was wrong. Wrong for him to be in love with his own brother.

Later that day Hikael got a phone call from his friend Masa to meet at the library. Masa was quite the delinquent, so Hikael was puzzled by this.
\"YOU want to go to the library?\" Hikael asked in disbelief.
\"No, but Nifumu wants to go, so I figured I would drag you along so that I don\'t have to sit there while Nifumu looks at romance novels.\" Masa replied.
Hikael laughed. \"I can see why you don\'t want to go alone with her. We both know how she gets all teary eyed when talking about her tragic romance novels.\"
\"Yeah. So make sure you meet me there, okay? Who knows what she will do what with all the people from school there to do research for that damn Science project.\" Masa said with a sigh.
Hikael agreed, and in fifteen minutes he met Masa and Nifumu outside of the library.
Nifumu greeted impatiantly. \"Ohhhhh...lets hurry!\" She then ran in the library, turning around and yelling at them to hurry.
Masa and Hikael followed her, shaking their heads when she plopped down on the floor by the romance novels.
\"Chances are she\'ll be a while, so why don\'t we wander?\" Hikael suggested.
Masa agreed and they split up. Hikael\'s mind wandered to the love note he had recieved earlier that day. Who could it be? He knew quite a few people that were in the library then, as they were in a few of his classes. He wondered if any of them were Red Sabre.
Just the there was a loud squeel that Hikael recognized as Nifumu\'s. Quickly walking over to where she stood in front of the romance novels, he saw that she was with Masa. \"What are you squeeling about?\" He asked and was startled to see Masa blush.
Nifumu giggled and said \"Sorry, I can\'t tell you.\"
Quite puzzled, Hikael looked at Masa.
\"It\'s not really important is it?\" Masa said.
He quickly held out a book to Nifumu, changing the subject. \"Look at this Nifumu. A book about Alexander the Great and his Persian boy catamite.\" Nifumu squeeled again and grabbed the book.
Rolling his eyes, Hikael started to wander aimlessy around the library once again.
