One bad day

Time seemed to slow down for Jo, as she sat waiting for a bus home. School was finally over. Standing up as a bus turned into the bus stop. She moved towards the door and waited for the doors to open.
Routing though her bag for her keys, her mum wouldn’t be home for at least an hour or so. The door opened, as she pushed it. Wondering she throw her bag across the room and rushed upstairs.
She striped off and went into the bathroom, running a bath. Just as she was about to get in the doorbell went. Pulling on her dressing grown she ran down stairs.
She opened the door, greeted by an older man.
“Erm, hello miss is your mum in?” He said, his gaze moving towards Jo’s dressing gown “I’m here to measure the floor, for the new carpet”
“Ok” Pulling her gown tighter around her. “Mum, won’t be home for a long time” she said slowly, feeling edgy.
Moving to the side, so the man could get all his stuff in the hall. Jo showed him the room, and went to the kitchen so she could call her mum
“Mum? When are you going to be home, the carpet mans here” She said quietly
“Oh honey, I’ll be home in a bit”
She went in to the living room, where the man was working. He looked up and smiled at her.
“Do you want a tea or anything?” she asked, forcing a smile
“n..no thank you” he stuttered “My colleague, will be here in a minute” He turned back to his work

Letting her go he grabbed her small bedside cabinet and moved it to the door.

The other man ran up to him “Yeah, what is it? Dan?”
“Grab her, I think she could come in handy” He looked back at Jo, she gasped as Benny rushed at her. He picked her up, ignoring her cries and screams.
Dan opened the front door, and got the van. He drove it right up to the front of the house. Benny pushed Jo into it, she fell over with a cry. Benny locked up the back of the van and went round to the font of it.
“What did ya do to her Dan?”
“Nothing much, did we baby just a bit of fun” He did up his seat belt and started the car “Right baby, your gonna stay with us for a couple of days” He smiled and drove the car on.
