nails biting
Razor sharp nails bite my skin,
Cold metal attempts to break my skull.
Pounding, droning, beating, screaming,
Wishing, hoping, praying, stopped.
All the time she’s separated,
And now she wants to join.
Different for so long,
Her silence shatters glass.
Creeping up like scented smoke,
The danger surrounds her whole.
Shes afraid of her new found freedom,
And she can’t look back now.
This girl she is my future,
This girl she is my past,
This girl I can’t get a hold of her,
and make her clear thoughts last.
