Hearts bleed with this pain
Scarred wounds reopened
Burn with heartbreak
Faces become stained
With tears of rejection
As they sit here desperately waiting
For you to come
But you never show your face
Leaving their hearts empty
Cold and out of place
So they drop them off
In the Lost And Found
Burned and black
Broken or chipped
Used and cracked
Stained and bruised
Like that old ceramic mug
Needing to be trashed
Scarred wounds reopened
Burn with heartbreak
Faces become stained
