Trip to NYC
Gus
I own these characters and 50 cents so there! :P
\"Gus...earth to Gus, do you read?\"
\"Hmm?\"
Rhiannon put her hands on her hips, her obvious annoyance showing in her emerald green eyes. \"Do you think one of these days you could stop fantasizing about Zak and starting paying *me* attention?\"
In case you hadn\'t caught on, Zak is my boyfriend, and Rhiannon isn\'t being jealous. She was just being herself.
I looked down at my sneakers, as I usually do in any consversation with Rhiannon. \"S-Sorry. What were we discussing again?\"
Rhiannon sighed, rolling her eyes. \"About our trip to NYC, ya dope!\"
Ah, yes. Now I remembered. Zak has been prancing about our apartment in excitement and anticipation. You could get a buzz from his cheerful aura.
\"I have a bad idea about this,\" Crimson piped up. She sipped gingerly on her coffee.
\"Oh, gawd, not again,\" Rhiannon whined, holding her head in her hands. \"You\'re going to ruin it for all of us, Crimson!\"
\"Really, Crimson,\" Bertha said, her usual grin clouded over by a frown. \"You\'re such a pessismist.\"
\"So, Crimson has a hunch,\" Rhiannon started. \"Who cares? You\'re just a worry-wort. Just don\'t be mentioning anything to Clarice.\"
\"Mentioning what to me?\"
We all turned around. It was amazing how the head vampire of the Ryouseiteki clan could sneak in so quietly.
Ryouseiteki was my clan.
\"Uh...nothing,\" Rhiannon said, biting her lip. She only bit it when she was nervous, which was rarely.
\"You sure?\" Clarice asked, managing to keep his cool composure. The only reason he put up wiht Rhiannon was because he was obligated to.
\"Crimson\'s just anxious,\" Asia added. A river of relief flooded Rhiannon\'s face.
\"Oh. Well, no reason to fear,\" Clarice put his hand on Crimson\'s shoulder. He was still getting used to human affection. \"I\'m sure you\'ll have...fun.\" He nearly winced at the word.
Crimson tried to smile. I felt bad for her. She was always worrying.
Well, now that I think about it, I guess I was, too.
\"So, how about you?\" Clarice asked, turning to me.
\"Oh, um, I\'m fine,\" I stuttered nervously.
\"Well, that\'s...good.\"
I sighed. I didn\'t mean to sound weak or rude I just wasn\'t a good speaker.
\"I-I have to go pack,\" I blundered awkwardly. I\'d always lost my nerve around Clarice. I always felt that he hated me in some manner. It might\'ve been my imagination, but still.
I hastily threw away what was left of my soft drink and headed out the door of Willie\'s Wieners. As I fled, Willie called back. \"Hey! You forgot your plot line and setting!\"
