Why

Why do I love you when it just makes me cry
All your other girlfriends say your a jerk
They tell all their friends how lovely you were

I listen to your poems
And nod along to games

I told you once before
But this is the way it stays

Can\'t you see I love you
It\'s why I play along

Everyone sees you as you are
But I see you for you

I know I\'m not real pretty
And don\'t look like a model

But baby
Let me tell you true

If you love me,
I will love you.
