Red

A/N: This was a little silly but a lot of fun to write.

Hero frowned as Vi kept picking at his salad with an annoyed look on his face. Curiously he seemed very intent on the bright red cherry tomato’s decorated the bed of lettuce.

“What’s wrong Vi?” he finally asked as one of the red orbs went flying out of the salad bowl towards the ground in a graceful arch.

“I hate tomato’s,” Vi pouted

“What?! Since when?” Hero demanded, honestly surprised by the revelation.

“Since forever,” Vi stubbornly insisted as another tomato went flying.

“Vi stop that!” Hero hissed with embarrassment as one of the waiters nearby gave them a disgruntled look. Yes they were dining in The Birdcage but that was no reason for Vi to be making a mess.

“I told them no tomato’s didn’t I?” Vi snapped back as another tomato went flying.

“Actually you didn’t,” Hero retorted, bending down to collect the three vegetables that had thankfully fallen nearby and put them on the table between them.

“Eh really?!” Vi looked so shocked that Hero almost forgave him.

“No, you ordered the salad and said nothing about tomato’s.”

“Oh well in that case, sorry!” he shouted over the waiter before returning to the bowl and carefully picking out the tomato’s like an adult and setting them aside.

“You couldn’t have done that earlier?” Hero sighed, unable to help how cute his lover was when he was technically throwing a tantrum. He’d have to keep an eye out for that in the future.

“I was mad, I thought they ignored me.”

“I don’t think anyone could ignore you,” Hero quipped as he continued eating.

“Aww, aren’t you sweet?” Vi smiled with a blush. “Hey you know what else is red?” he asked suddenly.

“Huh? What?” Hero asked, wondering why there was a sudden change of topic.

Vi grinned and leaned forward just a little, his tongue darting out to moisten his lips. “The anal beads I ordered a week ago and that got here today…”

Witnesses claimed later that Hero and Vi’s table overturned itself and that, in their embarrassment over the entire incident Hero practically dragged Vi out of the restaurant and back to his lair. Of course…that was only a half truth, what they didn’t know about the other half wouldn’t hurt them.
