Chapter 9

Pant. Pant. Pant.

My claws gripped the pieces of the headboard that were still left as Yasuhiro pounded into my body. I panted harder as he increased his speed, his position shifting and aiming directly at the spot that made my eyes squeeze shut in pleasure. I tried to scream but my voice caught in my throat as I tasted blood. My knees shivered, buckling against the ripped and soiled sheets as my body moved rapidly. Yasuhiro leaned down, his mouth attacking my neck with kisses, sucking at my scales before he bit into my bloody shoulder. I screamed then, cuming hard, before collapsing to the bed. I could feel his seed, hot and deep in my belly, and as he reached for my arm I shot from the bed.

I stood near the wall, my legs shivering and my eyes watering at the sight of his hard length, dripping pre-cum onto the floor. He licked his lips, stepping closer to me.

“Stop! Dammit it’s been four days!!” I shouted.

“And?” He smirked.

I gaped at him, my mouth opening and closing to say something, anything. Anger won out and I frowned at him.

“You would be such a cruel mate to not feed or care that I am in pain?”

As soon as the words left my mouth I regretted them. His eyes got darker, then enraged and he moved, too quickly for me to dodge, and grabbed my arms, pushing me against the wall.

“YOU would speak of mistreating a mate? I would laugh at your attempt it if were not so disgustingly ironic.” He snarled

I tried to defend myself but he pressed a clawed hand to my mouth.

“Do you realize what it is like to be chained in a dungeon below ground, insane with rage, and calling for a mate that cares not that you are in pain? I have killed hundreds to get to you, bitten into my own flesh to be rid of chains to be able to step an inch closer to your scent. I will not lose you again.”

He leaned in to kiss me and I growled, slamming my head into his nose. He hissed, releasing my arms and stepping back.

“Will not or can not Yasuhiro? After all, I’m sure Anon will be angry with you if you do not bring him my child.” I spat.

His eyes turned soft, his mouth relaxing as he stood looking at me. He moved toward me, and his phone rang, the light melody flooding through the air only increasing the tension.

“Look, he calls you now to make sure his servant is obeying his orders! Fuck me again Yasuhiro! Make sure I am pregnant so that your God will be pleased!”

“SILENCE!” He screamed.

“You speak of things you do not understand. Dangerous things.” He continued.

“Then tell me Yasuhiro. Tell me so that I may be able to understand why you would sacrifice our child!”

For a moment he looked as though he would speak, but instead he picked up the phone, muttering a ‘yes’ and a ‘no’ before hanging up the phone and walking towards me.

“Don’t touch me you…you traitor!!” I screamed.

Angry my eyes swirled black, my void exploding out of me to throw him back through the wall and into the hallway. My scales gleamed, ready for battle, and I lunged out of the window, my naked body not caring about the cool night air. I ran fast, flying through the streets in a blur. He had not followed and I could still feel him. He was alive, which meant I needed to move fast.

I darted to the right and up the stairs where I knew Tsukiko and Dadakko were. When I opened the door they both looked up in surprise. They had not slept, I could tell by the bags under their eyes and the way in which they jumped when I moved forward into the room. They had looked for me. I took a moment to be thankful that they cared before I noticed Tsukiko was staring rather than looking at me. She had started to lean toward me when Dadakko reached into her bag to pull out some clothes for me. I dressed quickly, not caring to notice the silk shirt and pants that hung close against my body in a vibrant dark green with golden leaves.

“ We need to leave. Now.”  I ordered.

Tsukiko started to question what was going on when a loud roar bellowed out across the Isle. Rage and hurt made the noise sound strangled and I looked desperately at Dadakko. He immediately sat in the middle of the room, chanting quickly. He started to glow and rise from the ground, his chanting becoming more of a drone as the room swirled with the power of the transportation spell. There was a flash of light and I felt a weight hit my side. We flew off in the distance and I tried to recover, but a body rested heavily on top of me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I opened my eyes Yasuhiro was on top of me. We were all in an open field with green grass that stretched out for miles.

“Dammit! Get off of me!” I screamed.

He gripped my wrists tighter, leaning down to sneer in my face.

“You will not escape—“ He started.

Chains grabbed at his arms pulling him back and forcing him to the ground. I looked up to see Dadakko chant out another incantation and Yasuhiro’s body sat up his legs chained underneath him.

“Let me go.” He growled.

“Nope.” Dadakko responded, smiling smugly.

Yasuhiro struggled in the chains before scowling at all of us. I stepped in front of him. I had feared this for so long. Being in front of him and knowing what he wanted. I had never asked why, never wanted to know really. It had been a nagging question in the back of my mind, but I had always cared more about his betrayal then knowing why he had done it. But now, with him in front of me and the chance looking me in the face I had to know.

“Why? Why did you betray me?”

“I did not betray you. Again, you speak of things you do not understand.” Yasuhiro sighed.

“I saw you! That night I saw you talking to Anon.” I screamed.

He remained silent. His face impassive as he refused to speak. When it was clear he was not going to say anything I put my hands on the sides of his face. Closing my eyes I directed my void into his mind, prodding him with questions and looking to see a glimmer of an answer. He fought me, growling as I got closer to what he was trying to hide. When I found it I stumbled back, falling to the ground. My breathing heavy and my claws digging into the grass I tried to stop the pounding in my own head. Daddakko looked at me and Tsukiko came to my side, her hand resting on my shoulder, not caring about the growl that came from Yasuhiro at her closeness.

“What happened? She asked.

“I…I saw. What does that have to do with this?!!” I shouted at Yasuhiro.

“What did you see?” Dadakko prodded.

“Anon…is dying.”
