Deals and Punishment: Russell Style
Trevor's tall form strode into the room, bouqeut of flowers tucked on his arm, dark eyes shimmering with false grief. Russell instinctively moved his body to Cole's guard, pulling the little raven closer to him and shooting Trevor a fierce glare.
"What the fuck are you doing here!?" Russell spat.
"Russell..."
"Get out of here, right now you piece of shit!"
"Isn't that rather harsh, to say to your benefactor?" Trevor moved into the room, Russell taking precautions to make sure his body never left Cole's guard. "Besides, what grounds do you have to talk to me like that?" Trevor met Russell's glare with mischief, placing the flowers on the table, and then casting his confident eyes to Cole who retreated from the gaze.
"Because you did this to him!" Russell sprung from the bed, pushing Trevor back from the bed.
"Oh, I did?" Trevor looked down to Cole. "Did he say that?"
"He didn't have to! You're a crazy bastard!"
"I would watch my words!" Trevor went toe to toe with Russell, and while Russell glared with uncharacteristic hate, Trevor only smiled like he'd just won a million dollars....not that he would need it. "You're being very out of line with a client about to make your company a lot of money. A few well worded complaints from me, and even the son of Kenneth Taylor will find himself out of a job. I imagine your little fuck toy there would be on the street too."
"Go to---"
Russell!!!" Cole shouted, effectively silencing the blond. "Stop, don't get yourself in trouble. I told you, Trevor didn't do it."
"Like I believe--"
"Can't you believe me?"
"Cole, I..."
"You heard him, down puppy."
Dark eyes, shimmering with malice, amusement, and the look of a man assured his victory, Trevor went toe to toe with Russell. "Why don't you give me and Cole a moment. Alone."
"Like hell--"
"It's alright, Russell. I wouldn't mind a soda or something, just hurry back okay." Cole leaked out, defeatedly.
Looking to Cole, giving him soft eyes of "understanding" and then back to Trevor, who received the nastiest glare Russell could summon, he finally let out a soft sigh and a defeated clap of his hands. "Alright, I'll be back in one minute then." He snapped to Trevor. "Be done by then."
Russell left the room walking backwards, eyes on Trevor the whole time as he shut the door behind him. Trevor chuckled darkly, and moved across the room, sitting at the foot of Cole's bed. "How are you feeling."
"I'm feeling great. Running a marathon this afternoon." Cole chided.
"Always with that stiff upper lip. I thought that may have been corrected last night." Trevor reached out, stroking Cole's cheek who only flinched away. Cole cast him a hateful stare, Trevor feigning ignorance as to why he should receive such hate. "If you would behave, I wouldn't have to hurt you like last night."
"Go fuck yourself, you didn't have to do anything."
"You were out of line."
"So you raped me!? You son of a bit---"
"Keep that down! Remember what I told you, one person finds out and I will ruin Russell! The tape, and I have a very good accounting team that could dummy up some funds to make it look like Russell's embezzling. That's jail time, sweetheart. Boys like Russell don't do well in prison."
"I told you, leave him out of this."
"When he touched something that was mine, he made himself part of it."
"You're crazy."
"Crazy for you, my dear."
"Don't call me that! Don't you ever fucking call me that, you psycho bastard!" Cole snapped. "I'll keep your little secret!"
"Good, I can't wait for when you come around. You know where to find me." Trevor rose from the bed. He swooped in to steal a kiss from Cole, who jerked himself away. Trevor smiled, ruffled Cole's hair and walked to the door, opening it just as Russell entered.
"I'll see you later." Trevor cooed to Russell as he left the room.
Russell watched him leave, hate in his eyes, before shutting the door behind him and sitting the can of cream soda on the table. He lay down in the bed, Cole's arms reaching out to wrap around him.
"Cole..." Russell whispered as he kissed Cole's temple.
"What is it?"
"I'm gonna make him pay."
A silence fell in the room after the hate filled words spilled from Russell's lips. Both knew that Russell had eavesdropped on the conversation between Trevor and Cole, but neither wanted to ruin the mood by voicing it aloud. They cuddled, Cole clinging to Russell's warmth until the doctor came in and reported Cole's injuries were rather minor so he could go home that afternoon.
A change of clothes, and a silent car ride later, Russell and Cole were at Cole's apartment, Russell easing the cringing Cole into his bed. Placing a soft kiss on Cole's forehead, Russell held Cole close.
"So...." Russell cooed. He planted another gentle kiss on Cole's foreheard. "Where should I sleep?"
"At your apartment."
"Okay, but I don't want to move you across town in your condition. You need your rest."
"Then go by yourself, dumbass." Cole pulled himself away. "Don't think I'm gonna become all clingy and needy now that I've been raped. This isn't some cheesy movie."
"Yeah, that'd be weird. You'd probably be a girl..."
"And you would be much better looking. Now go home."
"Okay, ow, how could I look better than I do now?" Russell faked a pout. "And two, I'm not going to leave you here by yourself after that. I'll sleep on the couch, you don't even have to see me."
"Russell...."
"Not for your sake! It's for mine. I won't sleep if you make me go home, I'll be too worried."
"Fine. Couch. Go, I need my sleep." Cole turned and curled himself up into a cocoon of covers, effectively shutting out the abundance of Russell in his view.
"Good night, Cole." Russell leaned down and hugged Cole through his knit shell. "I love you."
"Good night, Russell." Cole said, muffled by the cover. Russell smiled, satisfied with his response as he left the bed room, he heard Cole add. "I like you too."
"Glad to hear it." Russell smiled and glided from the room, quietly shutting the door behind him. He plopped down on the couch and shut his eyes. "I like you." Had anyone else said it, it would have been disappointing, a kick to the balls even, after the other had just proclaimed their love. Only Cole could say it so cooly and get away with it, and only Cole would actually mean it if he ever did say "I love you."
Russell's goal: to hear those three little words from Cole.
As his thoughts lingered on his raven, Russell's eyes fluttered shut and he found himself adrift in a sea of dreams.
Russell, standing in a bed of roses, shirtless with his golden licks tickling his shoulders. The soft smell of flowers hugged the air, and before him, Cole stood, bare as the day he was born with the warmest of smiles running across his face.
"I love you, Russell." Cole smiled, stepping through the sea of roses to embrace Russell.
"C-Cole..."
"I love you so much...." Cole kissed Russell's chest, pulling Russell ever closer.
"Cole..." Russell tipped Cole's chin, his violet eyes burning with heated desire. Russell embraced Cole, pulling their lips together. Cole moaned so sweetly, fingers scoring Russell's bare chest as he pressed himself closer, there bodies burning with heat and desire as a soft wind nipped their bodies and scattered sweet rose petals to the wind.
And then Cole was pulled away. Trevor, garbed in deep black tore Cole from Russell's arms. Cole reached out, desperately clutching at Russell as Trevor laughed darkly and pulled Cole away, a whirlwind of rose petals obscuring Russell's vision of them as Trevor pulled him away.
Blinded by a whirlwind of rose petals, voice deafened by the whipping winds as he futilely ran toward Cole being carried away by Trevor.
And then golden light slashed through the tempest of rose petals, blinding Russell and quickly fading to darkness.
Russell clenched his eyes shut, and cracked them open, the golden light peering in through the windows to awaken him. With a soft stir, Russell awoke, and despite the morning nip of the air, and the lack of covers with which he went to bed, Russell felt himself very warm, his back pressed taut against the spine of the couch. Evaluating the situation, Russell opened his blue eyes and trailed down to the dark mass huddled against him.
Cole: wrapped tightly around Russell and slumbering ever so lightly, breathing so softly.
Russell's heart pounded, his lips curled to a smile as he wrapped his arms around Cole's small waist and pulled the little raven closer.
Cole stirred, Russell's heart temporarily stopping as he feared Cole's awakening, but Cole only took in a breath, and buried his head to Russell's chest.
"Cole..." Russell cooed as he pet Cole affectionately.
"Nnn, I'm not a fucking dog Russell..." Cole nipped Russell's chest.
"Did I wake you up?"
"...No." Cole turned his shimmering violet eyes up to Russell. "Sorry, my bed was cold and I thought I could keep you company. Don't read into any more than that."
"Don't worry. I won't." Russell kissed the temple of Cole's forehead. "Do you want some breakfast?"
"Can you make breakfast?"
"Yeah...with one or two phonecalls to the cafe down the street."
"Wonderful...don't worry about it then."
"No, no, no, come on..." Russell climbed over the back of the bed, hopping to the floor making sure not to drop Cole to the floor. "I'll try to make you something. Let's see what's in the fridge!"
Amused, Cole peered over the rustic couch to Russell scampering in the kitchenette, fumbling with a carton of eggs and a loaf of bread for toast.
An hour, ten wasted eggs and five burnt pieces of toast later, Russell presented Cole with scrambled eggs that were to be over-easy, and two pieces of whole wheat toased, just black enough so that it could still be eaten. Russell, almost proud of himself, placed the plate of food into Cole's lap who begrudgingly looked at the food, almost afraid of the horrors it might instill upon his stomach.
"Is this edible?"
Russell pouted and stabbed a piece of egg with his fork, putting the piece into his own mouth. "Yup." Russell chewed, and swallowed. It was edible, if without taste.
"Well, if you like it, you should eat it." Cole pushed the plate into Russell's chest.
"I'm not hungry."
"You need to eat!" Russell pouted. "You'll heal faster!"
"I'm alright." Cole opened up the cocoon of covers he'd wrapped around himself and spread his arms for Russell. "Just...come cuddle or something. I'm cold." Cole blushed.
"I thought you weren't the blushing princess type."
"Shut up and cuddle or get the hell out of my apartment." Cole spat.
"You only had to ask once." Russell sat the food aside and pulled himself into Cole's chest, laying his head on the raven's shoulder and wrapping himself around his small body tightly. "There, cozy?"
"A little. Your hands are cold."
"So opinionated. How cold is this!?" Russell moved his fingertips to Cole's sides, and brushed up the shirt to gently tickle Cole's sides. The little raven squeeled and tried to jerk away from Russell. "Tickle, tickle, tickle!"
Squirming, Cole squeaked among his giggles, "R-Russell! Stop it!"
"Naaah, you're cute when you laugh!" Russell pinned Cole down to the bed, tickling Cole who slapped, scratched and bit every chance he could.
And then, Russell stopped, brushing Cole's soft skin with the flat of his palm and placing his body down over Cole's who's breath was coming in soft pants.
"I should kill you."
"You won't though." Russell cooed and ran his hand up Cole's belly. "Are you okay?"
"Aside from severe annoyance?" Cole sighed and gave Russell control as he was pulled up against the blonde's chest. "Yeah, I wasn't beaten that badly I guess. The only thing that really hurts is my---nevermind."
"Your ass, right?"
"Drop it."
"Trevor did this, didn't he?"
"Russell, drop it!"
"He's blackmailing you or---" Cole pressed his lips hard against Russell's, pushing the older one back on the bed and pushing his tongue into the blonde's hot depths. Russell moaned, held Cole's sides, and arched his body into Cole's weak body, grinding his hips against the other's.
Their lips broke, Cole taking Russell's momentary weakness to slap him on the head. "Don't worry about it. It's over."
"I'm hard now."
"Are you even listening to me?"
"My dick is."
"Always your dick with you, isn't it?"
"Always." Russell pecked Cole on the lips.
"Russell...I really can't."
"Haha, yeah you can." Russell assaulted Cole's neck with nips and kisses, running his hand under the raven's shirt to pull over his head.
"No, I can't. I'm really sore down there."
"I didn't say I was putting it in. You see sweetie, that's the miracle of sex between two guys." Russell read off patronizingly as he kissed Cole's bare chest. "You don't have to be the one who always takes it."
Russell and Cole played an innocent game of devour, each wrap of their tongues preluded by a loss of another article of clothing that continued until both were naked, panting and Russell grinding his need against Cole's in desperate ploy for release.
"Russell..." Cole's eyes darkened.
"Yeah..." Russell kissed Cole again, and gave another roll of his hips tearing another moan from the little raven.
Russell took a moment, stealing one more kiss, before disappearing into Cole's bedroom and re-emerging with a bottle of lube. He grabbed a condom from his jean pocket it, secured it onto Cole's length and poured lube over the jerking length.
Russell lifted himself up against Cole, who was relaxed on the couch, and sank down onto Cole's erection. Russell shuddered, his face twisting into a wince as he was pierced.
"Are you okay?"
"F-Fine...."
"We can stop."
Russell sighed, and grabbed Cole's hand, placing it over his member. "Just work that, and stop talking, you're ruining this for me."
"Jeeez, sorry for being considerate." Cole gripped Russell's erection painfully hard. Cole gave a weak roll of his otherwise sore waist, pressing himself deeper inside of Russell's tight depth. A pleasant moan spilled from his lips. "Feels...good..." He sighed.
Words became inaudible pants, sweet caresses became nails raking across exposed skin, and their lips were scantly parted as their bodies crushed together, Russell being so very careful not to hurt his wounded raven as the other's hand held fast to his member. The sound of a ticking clock, muffled by the moans of the two lovers in the room, was all that could be heard.
As the light of day shined on the two, exposing them for their little act of mischief, they both came, Russell between himself and Cole, and Cole twitching deep inside of Russell's inner depth's.
Spent, Cole's tired body quickly found the release of sleep, collapsed against Russell who pet him soothingly.
"Tomorrow's a new day, Cole..."
A new day it was, storm clouds boiled over the horizon adding a dark, menacing gloom to Taylor Industries. Russell locked his car, and moved across the parking lot, duffel bag dangling from his shoulder. He mentally kicked himself for forgetting his umbrella, it promised to be a nasty day.
And Russell didn't mean the weather.
Without the promise of rain, the day was already spoiled by the scheduled staff meeting. All the department heads gathered in one, air-conditioned yet still hot room, all kissing up to Russell's father for priority in the budget. Same ol, same ol, with the addition of Russell's father introducing the new partner of the group.
Russell greeted the floor manager with a smile and a nod, took the elevator up to the top floor and made his way to the grand meeting room. Windowed walls, chairs lining a long table that would have made the knights of the round salivate with envy. Already there were members clattering away at their desk, little chickens pecking for feed. And then there was the feeder, the big, bad, Kenneth Taylor sitting at the head of the table, scattering feed for his little chickens and not even gracing his son with so much as a glance.
"Mornin' dad!" Russell chimed, just to piss him off.
Kenneth had long risen above retort, only a huff and glare. Russell smiled, he loved needling the old, fat bastard. In fact, he wanted to do it again. "The suit's looking good. Almost can't see the fat hanging over." Wow, he was daring him to fire him.
"Would you just sit down already!" He finally snapped.
With a victorious smile, Russell took his seat. Then it was just a matter of pencil tapping and eavesdropping on boring gossip until the meeting took off. They were read the time, the business at hand, and the Kenneth set into it with the first matter of business to be addressed.
"We are going to partner with a local business, and consolidate a few jobs in the process. Allow me now to introduce you to our new business associate, Trevor Lanes."
Chatter filled the room as the handsome, darker man entered the room. Ran began to patter against the pane glass windows, Russell half-expecting a bolt of lightening to strike and cast a shadow across Trevor's face. Trevor looked to no one else, on gave a victorious smirk to Russell. It was cute: how Trevor thought he had won.
He had yet to see Russell nasty.
The ambient rain pattered outside as Kenneth continued. "He'll be responsi---"
"Hold on a second!" Russell rose from his seat. "I've got something I want to say."
"Sit down!" Kenneth barked.
"Don't wanna!" Russell retorted. "You see, I've been breaking company policy for the past month. I've fallen in love with an employee, and we've been having sex. He's my secretary Cole Thorne! The best thing that's ever come out of this company for me. I thought I could have my cake and eat it too, but I was wrong. Because people like this---" Russell pointed an accusing finger to Trevor. "Will always use it against me."
"Russell! Sit down!"
"Let me finish!" Russell loved the bored eyes of the executives now glued to him with great interest. "The only reason this man is able to become partner is because I used loopholes to get him in. Because he used my relationship against me. So let me make this clear so there's no more blackmail. I had sex with Cole Thorne. A lot. And to take responsibility for my actions, it's only right that I resign from my position. Thank you for the time you gave me here."
Russell moved across the room, right to Trevor who was white as a sheet. He had no more leverage, nothing to bind Russell with.
"And this man..." Russell continued, his normally lively blue eyes dull with malice. "...is a dirty rapist who I won't rest until he's felt the pain Cole's feeling."
"You can't prov---"
Russell cut Trevor short, giving the older man his best hook to the jaw he could, sending the man reeling backwards against the glass before sinking down to nurse himself. "That's one." Russell announced. "There'll be more." He promised.
To drink in his victory, even though he was now without a job, Russell turned and looked at all the wide eyed committee men, and the biting glare of his father. So, he surprised a group of strangers, his father hated his guts, and he'd punched Trevor Lane in the jaw.
Life was good.

LATE LATE LATE! Blame College. It's evil. This chapter may have some errors I'll correct later, but I was rushing to get this out.
Thanks for the reviews, the hits, and the patience. I'm trying but it's hard to find time to write these days. There will be more chapters, though the consistency of updates remains to be seen...
