The Elf Council
I'm posting this chapter to make up for the late update of the last one... Hope you like it!

Tansa was nervous. Really nervous. He had never been so nervous before. The elves before him were all staring at him. He shifted his weigh on his other foot and tried hard not to lower his gaze or run away. As if sensing his uneasiness, Alavas’ warm hand found its way to his and gently squeezed. Feeling himself relax a little, Tansa wondered what they were doing here in front of what Alavas called The Council. They had been taken directly from the house in the tree where they had…hum… had sex… to this strange place where ten elves were sitting in a circle around them. Finally, after half an hour of staring and measuring, one of the elves spoke.
“A decision has been made concerning your relationship.” he said looking at Alavas and finally ignoring him. “It will not be accepted here, since no human is welcomed to stay in Alasilia. Alavas san Nilas do you still want to go along with your decision of keeping the human as your life partner?”
Tansa tensed, what was the meaning of all this? He already knew that their relation was not well seen, but he hadn’t thought they would try to separate them. Fear was beginning to replace his uneasiness when he could feel rage storming through Alavas. Was Alavas mad at him? Was he supposed to have said something? What if Alavas said he didn’t want to be with him anymore?
“I only have one word. And before you say that I was not really responsible for my actions because I was in heat, let me prove you wrong. My heat only lasted one night with Tansa.”
Gasps and murmurs were heard all around the room and I blushed at my lover’s boldness. Was his heat supposed to last longer? What did it have to do with him? Unanswered questions filled his mind and he blocked them out. Only one question was important for the moment. Why was Alavas so angry?
**Because they are doubting the fact that you are worthy of him.**
Tansa jumped and looked all around him only but found no one sparing him a glance.
**Haha. Don’t be so surprised they can’t hear me.**
** Who are you?** he thought.
**Hehehe… Guess …**
Tansa sighted and hoped he was not beginning to get crazy. He had never heard anything about voices in one’s head. He methodically searched his memories, but the only thing he could come with was the strange reaction of Alavas to his Nama. It had been as if they had been in an argument the first time he had seen Micha. So could it be Micha talking to him?
**Bingo!**
**How can I hear you in my head?**
**We are connected now that you are my master’s life partner.**
**Is that the way you talk to Alavas?**
**Yes.**
**You can read my mind?**
**More like hear your thoughts, but I guess it’s pretty much the same.**
**Does Alavas know you are speaking with me?**
**No… he is a little busy with his glaring match with the First of The Council at the moment…**
**Why did he mention the fact that his heat only lasted one night?**
**Quick aren’t you? Well you have to be to handle Alavas. An elf’s heat is supposed to last at least two nights. The more your partner suits you, the less time it takes.**
**There must be some kind of mistake then. How could I be a good choice for Alavas? I’m just a whore…**
**Don’t call yourself that. You are certainly not a whore and…**
Tansa was slapped away from his mental discussion with Micha as the cold and irritated voice of the First Elf was heard.
“Well if this is your final word, we have no other choice. The human’s transfer back to his world is due tomorrow. You may or may not follow him. But you must know that if you go, there will be no coming back and someone else will be appointed the task of taking care of the Nilas family. This is our final word. You may go.”
Alavas lead a confused Tansa by the hand and they both got out of the decorated room. The walk to Alavas’ house was silent and he found himself at a loss as to what to say. The Council had ordered Alavas to choose between him and his family and Tansa already knew Alavas would choose his family. Who would choose him willingly anyway? He was only a good fuck, not someone to spend one’s life with. Alavas lead him to a small room where a lot of green and cream colored cushions were placed on the floor. He sat on one of the cushions and without understanding what happened, Tansa found himself sitting with his back against Alavas’ strong torso with warm arms wrapped around him.
“Are you okay?” he heard Alavas murmur against his ear before a soft kiss was placed in the crook of his neck. Shivering, Tansa sighted and turned around so he could see Alavas’ face. Alavas seemed worried. A strange feeling grew inside him and he realized he wanted to kiss that frown away. Burying the urge, he turned back, leaned his head against Alavas’ neck and sighted again. He was in deeper problems then he had first thought he was if he already had that kind of urge. Great…
“I’m alright. Alavas… I…”
He really didn’t know what to say. He wasn’t angry with Alavas, after all Alavas was someone important here while he was just an undesirable human. He wanted to say he understood, he wanted to show Alavas it was okay, but he found himself silently weeping instead.
“Tansa?” Tansa closed his eyes; he didn’t want Alavas to see he was hurt, because if he was truthful with himself, it did hurt, even if he knew it was just meant to be that way. He didn’t want to make it harder for Alavas. He felt another soft kiss behind his ear, then on his jaw, strong arms wrapping more tightly against his slender form giving the illusion they would never let go.
“Tansa… What’s the matter? Talk to me. I don’t like seeing you crying.” A quiet sob escaped him and he tried his best to stifle it. Alavas turned him and without saying a word held him. Not wanting to look at Alavas, Tansa buried his face in the elf’s shirt. He just couldn’t stop himself; he just needed to cry a little before it was all over. It was difficult to know that he might be spending his last moments with Alavas. He had thought he could be happy, just for a little while at least, just…
“Tansa…” His chin was gripped by a gentle hand and he opened his eyes. Green eyes bore into him and he couldn’t stop them from seeing all the hurt bottled up in his gold ones. It felt like he was naked to the soul under that beautiful deadly gaze and he shivered and tried to look away but Alavas was having none of it.
“I’m sorry; I should have made myself clear. I’m coming with you tomorrow. You will not get rid of me that easily.”
