Just Like A Pill
James sat at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee. He stared blankly ahead. His mind was cluttered with thoughts of Rachel. He would do anything to be able to love her and have her as his wife.
The night James and Roger had met Rachel, she was setting at the very end of the bar talking to one of the barmaids. Her laughter could be heard throughout the pub. She was wearing a pink miniskirt, pink, eight inch heels that put her up at 6'4", and a white dress shirt.
James smiled as he thought about the jokes that Rachel told so effortlessly. She was always so carefree and spunky. James had no idea on how he would talk to Rachel.

Roger looked into the mirror as he dried his hair. His mind, like James' mind, was consumed with thoughts of Rachel. He loved Rachel dearly. He would easily and gladly kill a person for Rachel if she asked him to do so.
He thought back to the pub where they met and all the stories she told that had went with the jokes that she had told that night. James and Roger had laughed so much that their sides had started to hurt.
Rachel definitely wasn't your typical young woman. She was beautiful and so approachable. She also had a wonderful sense of humor. Roger smiled at the thoughts. He wanted to talk to her but he had no idea how he could pull off such a stunt.

Rachel was James and Roger's addiction. They wanted to quit her to maintain their friendship, but just like a pill, they couldn't quit loving or needing her. Even if they never spoke again they were all each other's addiction. They were all each others pill.
