Revelations
Pleaaaaaaaaaaase review. I haven’t been getting many reviews on the past two chapters and it’s a bit disheartening >.<
Anywho, on with the story.

Jason lifted his eyes to meet Felix’s hopeful amber ones before he closed them sadly, he bit his lip to stop himself from crying “Felix, I’m just not ready yet.” He said softly. Jason slowly opened his eyes again to see Felix with the saddest look on his features. The small boy tried to put on an understanding smile which hurt Jason so much to see. “ ‘Lix, trust me, I want to be with you, I want to share everything with you… I-I just don’t… I’m not ready yet… I don’t trust myself enough… I’m so sorry, ‘Lix.” He raised his hand to gently cup Felix’s cheek, his thumb stroking just beneath Felix’s eye, causing the small one to let his eyes close and just to feel Jason’s warm hand on his skin.
“Stay with me tonight?” Felix asked, his eyes still lidded. He needed to feel Jason, to hold him, to convince himself that he hadn’t invented the other boy who tenderly touched his features.
Jason let out a heavy sigh “I really shouldn’t Felix, I-I just need time, okay?” His voice sounded so forced, regretful even.
Felix nodded and pulled back from Jason’s touch, and moved to lie down in his bed, pulling the comforter around himself “You should get to bed, Jase. It’s late and we have classes tomorrow.” Felix’s voice was cold, maybe a bit too harsh. But Jason nodded and proceeded to lift himself from the bed and made his way to the door. He paused in the doorway and turned back. Felix was still watching him with puffy red eyes.
“You kill me sometimes.” Jason said with a sigh. He walked back over to Felix’s bed and climbed in, pulling Felix’s back flush with his own stomach. “Don’t think that this is going to happen every night, okay?”
Felix nodded happily, lying on his side. His hand against the bed reached up and stroked Jason’s arm slowly, memorizing the feeling of his warm skin on his fingertips. “Are you even tired?” Felix asked.
“No, but that feels really good, it might put me to sleep quickly.” Jase smiled and kissed the curving shell of Felix’s ear. It was all that he could reach from his angle.
“Well… you could always play with my hair if you got bored.” Felix responded which made Jason smile wide.
“With pleasure.” The taller one said, raising his arm up for his hand to stroke through Felix’s thick hair. He had no idea why he became so… endearing around Felix, but he really couldn’t help it. He’d never been like this around anyone. “Your hair smells like coconut.” He said offhandedly.
“Do you like coconut?” Felix wasn’t sure if that was the appropriate response or not. Moments like these always made him confused. Jason said he wasn’t ready for a relationship, but he was currently acting very relationship-y. Weird.
“Favorite fruit.” He answered. His arm got tired though, and he brought it down to rest back against Felix’s tummy. “I’m scared.” He said softly, almost inaudibly. “I know this isn’t fair to you… for me to be like this, but I just – you mean a lot to me, and I’m scared to think that I could do to you what I did to Katie.”
Felix turned himself around so he was facing Jason. He placed his hands on either side of Jason’s face “You told me the truth, you were honest with me, now it’s my turn to make a decision, Jason. I really care about you, and I trust you. I’m making the decision to trust you. And you have to deal with that.” He said the last sentence in faux anger, making Jason smile slightly.
“I have no idea how you have the patience for me.” He admitted, still smiling.
“Sometimes it’s hard.” Felix responded with a huge grin. “But you’re lucky you’re so damn irresistible.” He half joked. Felix couldn’t deny that he found Jason incredibly sexy.
Jason leaned forward and gave Felix a small kiss on the nose and pulled him closer, his arms wrapped tightly around the small of Felix’s back. Felix looked up and kissed Jason’s lips. It was slow, it was tentative, but neither could deny the intensity.
Felix placed an arm around Jason’s side and pressed tongue against Jason’s lips, asking for entrance which Jase granted, parting his slightly chapped lips to let Felix’s tongue tentatively explore Jason’s mouth.
After a few moments, Jason got the courage to return the action, his tongue lifting up to press against the bottom of Felix’s tongue which tickled the roof of Jason’s mouth. His tongue pushed forward to enter Felix’s warm mouth, the muscles gently rubbing against each other in soft motions. It was intoxicating.
Jason had no idea how long they kissed for. It seemed to have been hours but seconds at the same time, all he knew was that he couldn’t get enough of Felix’s sweet taste. His tongue became more eager, his mind more caught up in the sensations. Suddenly he stilled, something cold against his stomach. Slowly he pulled back and looked down to see Felix’s hand beneath his shirt, pushing it up slowly.
“I-I’m sorry, I-I shouldn’t have assumed you’d want to go further, Jase. I’m sorry.” Felix rambled quickly, pulling his hand away and praying to God he didn’t push Jason too far.
“It’s okay… I – just… let me take you out on a date or something… before we go any further than this, okay?” he asked softly, understandingly. His hand moved up slowly to stroke Felix’s hair again in hopes of calming him down. For the time being, it seemed to work. A small smile presented itself on Felix’s plump lips, a little swollen now from the feverish kissing.
“I’ve never been on a date before.” Felix said happily, kissing the corner of Jason’s lips.
“Name a place, and I’ll take you there. Anywhere you wanna go.” He smiled, feeling like he was saying the same line as in any cliché movie, but he really didn’t care, he just wanted to make Felix happy.
“Hell, you could take me to a freakin’ dump yard and I’d be happy.” Felix giggled, snuggling into Jason’s shirt, having the odd urge to smell him. “You smell like …” he couldn’t quite place the scent. He soon perked up though and looked into Jason’s eyes “You smell like summer.” He smiled. “You know, the time of summer right when the strawberries are ready to pick, and grass has that certain green to it, just before the season’s maturing and it’s all new still… yeah… that’s what you smell like.” He said softly. Jason had honestly never felt more loved. He squeezed ‘Lix close and kissed the top of his head.
“I think I’m in love with you, Felix.” He whispered, scared of his new revelation.
