Into the Woods
Antille would nod to her. He was rather frightened by
Isabella's actions. He stood with her ready to follow her.
Isabella gripped his hand and began to run through the woods. The
branches of the smaller trees would start smacking their faces as
they passed through the forest as quick as they could.
Isabella would continuously look behind the both of
them worried someone was behind them. She knew soon they would be
at there toes following every instance they traveled.
Antille stumbled a bit and muttered words to her.
"Can we please stop for a moment; I need to catch my breath." He
said as he heaved trying to keep up with her. Isabella would at
him and sighed and stopped suddenly to let him breath.
Antille would stand curled over as he heaved heavy
breaths. The forest at the time was quiet for a moment. Isabella
heaved along with Antille as she watched about them carefully.
She wanted to make sure no one was around. Her eyes, ears, open,
and ready for even the slightest crackle of a broken branch that
could sound of a follower.
She twisted her head fiercely as she heard a crack
off in the distance. She grabbed Antilles arm again and bolted
off into the depth off the forest. The sound chasing after them
as they ran as fast as they could. Both of their hearts racing
like mad as there feet sprang forth.
The sound followed and seemed to get louder as more
were following after them. Isabella started to think on this
incident.
(We will not make it alive we die here in these woods.)
As she thought this a dear would sprint off beside them and then
back where the loud sound was gathering. The large sound ceased.
The group behind them began to talk.
"You mean all this time it was a dear." One called
out. Isabella clutched to Antille and pressed him to her chest.
They knelt down in the grass silently as they listened to the
people mutter words loud enough for the whole forest to hear.
"I think we lost them." Another uttered forth. The
group gathered and agreed and started to head back. Isabella
sighed a relief.
"That was close." She whispered to Antille.
