Believing-part 2

Okay its been awhile since I have updated this story. Sorry, I just got some inspiration. I watched Blood and Chocalate the other day. Its an okay movie, but the book was better. You never see real good were-wolf stories, its all vampires. This is why I will never write a vampire story. There's nothing wrong with them, but I like to write things that hardly are written about, like zombies, mer-people, ghosts, other off the wall stuff. Makes me not so much garden varity you know. Sorry, ranting. This chapter is real short since is finishing up the Believe Chapter. The Next ch. called "The Barn" will be longer and intoduce some new prople and the workings of Quinland people, and some good teen drama -.-'Enjoy.

Needless to say, the two teens remained silent till their clothes were done. They exited the school leaving no trace of their midnight adventure. They got back in Lasha’s truck and began the journey back to Fang’s house.
The trip was a silent one, as Lasha concentrated on the road; she decided to keep her mind blank for the time being was best, yet, her peace of mind was shattered as Fang suddenly spoke.
“I guess we need to go some research” stated the boy.
“Huh?”
“Well…we should get the facts before anything else. Like the history of Quinland, there got to be some records from the plays time” said Fang.
“I guess…Oh, you work at the library don’t you” stated Lasha dumbly.
“Yeah, we could look up stuff, I mean you still want to do this, right?” asked the boy.
Lasha took the chance to glance at the boy. His face looked neutral to the idea of Lasha changing her mind, but his eyes spoke a different story. His eyes were pleading. Why he was so interested in this was lost on her, I mean sure it was cool and freaky at the same time. Personally Lasha had a bad feeling about the entire thing. Something in the back of her mind was giving warning, like she would find out something that should be better left alone. However, Fang’s eyes were hypnotizing, and Lasha was compelled to stick to their agreement. With a deep breath she tore her eyes away from the boys and return looking at the road.
“Yeah, I still want to do this. Who knows, maybe it’ll be fun” said the girl, thou her tone was as confident as the statement.
Fang gave a small smile as the truck made its way up the curvy road to Fang’s house. It wasn’t long till the truck came to a stop in front of the old house. Fang removed himself from the truck, but lingered for a moment.
“Hey, Lasha…I’m kind of booked for the rest of the week, so the weekend is the only time I’ll have free, okay” said the boy apologetically
“That’s fine, just call me…oh you need my number don’t you” stated Lasha looking around the glove compartment”
“Its okay, just till me the number and I’ll remember it” said Fang.
“Really, you seem to have trouble located papers” smile Lasha
“Ha…ha, I’ll remember” Believe me, I will, thought the boy.
“576-2835” said Lasha “Do I need yours?”
“Will you remember?” asked the boy with a smirk.
“Most likely not”
“Its fine, I’ll give it to you tomorrow” said the Fang, feeling very happy.
“Okay, well I got to get home” said Lasha
“Yeah sure…um…” should I? Is it too soon…damn…oh what the hell, thought Fang, “Hey, Lasha…”
“What” answered the girl.
“Well…I won’t have time to talk too much, but Friday night would be free for me. But…I have a show with my band at the Barn, but you could come if you…you know…want to” Wow, smooth man, real smooth, thought the boy dismally.
It was no secret that Fang Linton was in small band that once in a while played at a favorite youth hang out. Lasha had never heard the band; Moon Child, but everyone said the band was cool and Fang had an awesome voice.
Wait a minute, is he asking me out…Nah it’s just to exchange information. Man. I need to stop reading into things too much, thought the poor, obvious girl.
“Okay…”
“Cool, see you there…well I will see you at school and stuff…good night” abruptly said the boy as he shut the door on the truck and went to his porch.
“Okay” said Lasha to herself. He’s weird, but who knew that moody Fang Linton could be cute, thought Lasha. She turned her truck around and left the Linton house. On her way home, her mind drifted to the events of the evening. With the uncertainly of the situation that weighed down on her mind, there was a spark of excitement. The mystery of the time-traveling well; gee its sounds like a plot is some teen novel, thought the girl as she entered her home.
