Chapter 9

There was a flurry of congratulations and well wishing from everyone in the club that night. The night was like being punch-drunk, dizzy with the emotions that Vinny’s proposal had engendered as well as the constant back and forward passing from eager person to person, ready to give Nicky a soft kiss on the cheek, mild hug or gentle pat on the back.

Definitely the second happiest day of his life so far, it was also the most nausea inducing. “Here, drink this.” A glass was stuck in front of him. It was water and Nicky drank it down quickly.

“I figured you could use that.” Adrian looked around the excited room, his supple painted lips drawn into a tight line. He looked down at Nicky, who was seated by his sparkly hip. “No doubt about it, I’m happy for you kid. But--making you upchuck shouldn’t be in the cards on a night like this. You get me?”

Nick smiled softly. “Thanks for the rescue. I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself or ruin the floor with rainbow of my digested lunch.”

The pair shared a laugh. The ambient groups were dispersing and moving back to their original tables and places on the dance floor. At one point, Vinny came over to Nick, dropping a small kiss on his temple and thanking Adrian for looking out for his ‘Caro’. Nick just assumed Vinny had gone to take care of business, though he didn’t see to realize the time flying as he talked to Adrian.

They said their goodbyes to Paulie and Michael, and realized their time was drawing short. “Well Precious…”

Nick’s brows furrowed in question. How did Adrian know his nickname? “How …did you…?”

A velvety laugh was the response Nick received immediately. “Don’t worry.” A gentle hand was laid on Nicky’s forearm. “Sweetheart, you have nothing to worry about …at least from me.” The last bit wouldn’t go unnoted by Nicky, “Sal already told me that Vinny had attached himself to a hot piece he met down at Leo’s…Now don’t look like that. He said that you were a good boy and I would hope so.”

“You don’t know how good I can be.” Nicky joked. Adrian’s smile made his face glow.

“See that’s good to hear. I understand you completely. That’s how I met Sal …again. But that’s a different story. Here--” Adrian scribbled down a quick set of numbers on a cocktail napkin. “Call me if you ever want to talk…I like you Nicky. I think you’ll be a breath of fresh air.”

The sincerity in the older man’s voice could not be over looked by any means. Nick smiled softly. “I think you may be the first real friend I’ve made since I moved to this city.”

A light pat on the cheek reminded him of his grandmother’s hands and her constant comfort. “Well, the pleasure is mine.” Adrian picked up his purse and straightened out his dress before patting Nicky’s smooth cheek again. “I’d kill to have skin like this again,” he said with a dramatic roll of his eyes.

“You leaving?” The elegant queen winked at him and pointed a subtle finger behind him. Vinny, Sal and Benson were beginning to leave their secret meeting place. “Chat with you late, ‘kay.”

Nicky nodded happily. He didn’t get a chance to immerse himself in his thoughts as a heavy hand on his shoulder alerted him to Vinny’s return. “Ready Nicky?”

“Yeah.” They gathered their coats, said a few more goodbyes then headed out the door in to the muggy night. The black sky was a patchwork of open dark space and puffy grey clouds. The stars above seemed especially bright this evening, though Nick believed it was all in head, they twinkled in a beautiful heavenly song.

As they walked, their hands were clasped together. A current of heat passed through them. It was passion.

It was love.

It was lust.

It was real.

Nicky allowed himself to be comfortable in just being beside Vinny. The big man’s proximity was more than enough.

If only he could have been in Vinny’s head at the moment. It was a fierce battle of wills, the higher human brain versus the awakening primordial instinct to claim, to mark, to breed. Vinny was barely restraining the urge to carry Nick back to the car. He could easily swing Nick’s trim body into a fireman carry just as easily as tossing him over his shoulder.

Nick was getting married, he could concede to the fact that he was technically considered the bride, but he was too much of a man to allow himself to be carried away like some overwhelmed maiden. They stopped short of reaching the car. Vinny turned to look at Nick, whose guileless eyes which seemed to unhinge something inside him.

The rough pad of a thumb traced over Nick’s moonlight silhouetted cheek. His skin was smooth. His scent light and masculine. It was more than a simple need that immediately transformed into aching desire. “I need you, Nicky.” Shivers raced down Nick’s spine. When did Vinny’s voice become so deep? Or so rumbling?

“You have me.” An automatic answer and the best one for the situation. The door to the backseat was open. Vinny slid inside before he pulled Nick in and locked the door. Surprisingly, the backseat was spacious and accommodating enough to allow Vinny to pull Nicky onto his tailored lap.

Darkness had a way of dramatically amplifying the sense-depth perceptions of ever touch, shift, slide or kiss. Strong hands gripped his waist and began an intent exploration upwards, sliding up the dress sweater covering Nick’s flanks, up to his shoulders.

“Vinny.” The delicious transfer of heat and sensation gave Nick limited control.
This wasn’t about making love. The very situation at hand was about out and out fucking, releasing that tension and exploding in a moment of physical joy.

“Lift.”

“Strip.”

“Sit.”

All commands that Nick quickly followed with the aid of Vinny’s large hands to guide him. His pants were in heap somewhere, thrown out of the way to give the pair access to each other. Kisses rained down on Nick’s lips, cheeks and chin. His neck was attacked with furious intent. The nips and sucking would leave marks.

Nick’s body moved willingly to the configuration of Vinny’s choosing. He sat astride Vinny’s wide lap. The bare hair free expanse of skin of his legs and bottom was tickled by the rich linen on Vinny’s legs. The older man’s hard turgid length twitched against the underside of Nick’s sack. A blunt wet finger circled his hole, working it open. Nick was relaxed. With the situation at present, he could even take the other man went out any lubrication. The rough burn would be worth it.

“Give it to me, Vin--” That was all the invitation the older man would need. Nick lowered himself on to slick stiff head of Vinny’s cock. The intrusion hurt until he relaxed further. All control was relinquished to Vinny, who snapped his hips up and down pounding relentlessly into Nick’s tight channel. The car was filled with the slick sounds of their bodies meeting. Nick bounced on Vinny’s cock, feeling that steady build up as the cockhead found his sweet internal node. His astride legs hugged Vinny’s lap trying to preserve the sweet feeling.

Their passion didn’t last much longer as the tight feeling in the base of Vinny’s balls began to move upward. Nick was awash in the feelings of being fucked and jerked simultaneously. His seed erupted over the cool expanse of his lover’s dress shirt. With a roar, the older man pumped his hips at an even greater speed and spilled his hot essence inside his lover’s tight tunnel. They collapsed into a tired, sweaty, musky heap full of love and satisfied in each other.
