Icafia 9

Chapter by Johnny Walker.
-----
The thief dropped the gun to his side. Fuck trench-coat lady. He\'d has enough shit for one day. He turned the oppisate direction and was about to set off when he looked down at the bodies.

\"What the fuck...?\" The head was ripped apart, and where brain should be there was nothing but metal. He reached in a ripped a piece of metal off. It glintened in the light. It was covered in circuts. \"Robots?\" he asked aloud in disbelief.

Something wirred and clicked inside the thing\'s head. He looked down at a lense where it\'s eye should be. A thin wire ran from the camera to a radio. \"Fucking robots.\"

\"Well. They know what I look like now. Shiit. Well, only one way to get rid of this problem..\" He swung the cyclinder out on his .38 and replaced the two rounds he fired.

People were running everywhere on the base, but the light was still out and it was just as easy to slip into the armory. Most of the weapons were gone, but the rifle he had stolen the scope off of was left behind.

As he screwed the scope back on, the door banged open and a squad of solders filed in. The thief blended into the shadows and slipped back out the door.

He quickly rushed to one of the guard towers. He slung the rifle on his back and climbed up the ladder silently. He pulled him self up. The guard only heard the sound of the knife leaving it\'s scabbard.

It was about three AM now. Still dark. He scanned the buildings for a antenna. If he could get thier before they got his picture out..

He found the building he wanted and brought the rifle to his eye, figuring out his route in. The door banged open and a messanger rushed out with a print out in his hand. \"Fuck..\"

He lowered his rifle and watched the messanger dash inside a waiting helicoper. He gave it the once over with the scope. Ugly was in the helicopter.

The chopter lifted off as the thief was squeezing the trigger. He let go before he gave himself away. He looked around, maybe he\'d take someone before he left...

People were taking things out of buildings and loading them in trucks. Looks like Icafia was moving to a new home. He unscrewed the scope and climbed back down the ladder.

As he climbed back over the fence, the thief noticed several people loading red barrels into the back of a truck. He took a quick look through the scope and saw the \'Infamable\' label.

He hit the deck and stuck the rifle through the chain link fence. He slipped the scope back in his pocket and prepared for a quick escape.

The exposion drowned out the shot, and the thief set off at a sprint.

He hitched a ride in the back of a flat bed truck. As it got light out, he noticed a familair black trench coat walking along the side of the road. He made sure to wave poilitly. She flipped him off and yelled something obscene. \"Well, maybe if YOU DIDN\'T THROW A FUCKING UZI AT ME!\" he yelled back.

An hour later, a cop car pulled along side the truck. The cop took a good long look at the thief, glanced at something in the car and back at him. The cop held up his radio to his mouth for a moment, then drove off.
\"Fuck.\" The cops were on Icafia\'s payroll. The thief looked for a soft place to land.

By new the sun had come out and was beating down hard. \"Fuck this.\" The thief said sitting down on the side of the road. He stuck his jacket over his head to give himself some shade. He jutted his thumb out for a ride.

By the time the fifteeneth car had passed him up he had lost track of time. He heard someone walking toward him from the way he had came. \"Fuck. That\'s just what I need.\" He stared striaght ahead, ignoring the approaching pedestrain.

A trench coat stopped in front of him. He didn\'t see, and that took some good not seeing. He stared striaght ahead, but he could sense the gloat on her face.

\"Shut the fuck up.\" He grumbled. The woman luaghed at him and left. The thief flipped her off.
