Because you're different
Because you\'re different
Look at me sitting alone,
Off in a corner of the room,
I watch you all playing happily
And envy your attitude.
My eyes burn with the urge to join you,
But my pride is too much,
For how could someone like you,
Ever want to play with someone like me.
I stay quietly where I am
Trying not to draw attention to myself
But you see me and call out, I wave and begin to walk away,
Only to have you catch my arm,
\"Come play with me, please?\"
Why do you want me to play with you?
With so many others around,
What made you chose me?
You laugh as you pull me out of the corner,
\"Because you\'re different silly, everyone else is the same.\"
