Confusion
Chapter 9 – Confusion
Tristan woke the next morning with Ol who kissed his cheek softly; he opened his eyes and blinked, as he thought he was still sleeping ”Good morning” Ol whispered with a boyish smile
“Morning” Tristan mumbled back and smiled a goofy smile
“I’m hungry” Ol stated and sat up scratching his head
“There is food in the grocery bags by the door” the silver haired angel said and pulled the covers over his head and turned unto the other side
Ol got up and jumped into his jeans, walking over to the bags, carrying them to the kitchen “so that is where you went?”
“What do you mean?” Tristan mumbled
“Yesterday silly” Ol said from the kitchen
“Oh yea” Tristan said and sat up with a sigh “I went to the supermarket” He wrapped the blanket around him and left for the kitchen “are you making some coffee too?” he said sleepy
“Of course” Ol said as he was making a sandwich
“Kitten?” Tristan said softly and placed a hand on the elfs shoulder “after... after.. you know, does Amdir hurt you?”
Ol paled but shook his head “why would he do such a thing?”
“You did and said things as was I about to hurt you” Tristan said in a soft tone, stepping closer to Ol
Ol looked away and began to take cups out of the cupboard “well, he can perhaps get a little rough” he admitted “but its not as you think”
“Spare me that bullshit” Tristan hissed and grabbed a hold of Ol’s shoulder, twirling him around to face him
Ol paled and looked away from Tristan’s gaze “you wouldn’t understand anyway”
“Understand ‘what’?” the fallen angel yelled as he shook Ol hard
“I love him, Tris.. that is what you don’t seem to understand” Ol yelled back in a moment of anger
“And that justifies what he does to you?” Tristan gasped and stopped shaking the skinny elf
“Yes” Ol said bluntly “he would never really harm me, he loves me too”
“For fucks sake Ol! Are you listening to what you are saying?” Tristan yelled and slammed his fist down in the table “that is not love, that is power tripping”
Ol suddenly slapped Tristan hard across his face “then he is not guilty of anything you didn’t do either!” he screamed and tried to make it past Tristan in the narrow kitchen
Tristan grabbed Ol and quickly slammed him against the wall hard “if I were him, I would smash your face in, and fuck you right here just to teach you your place, wouldn’t I?” Tristan growled
“Let go of me” Ol gasped and struggled to get down from the wall and out of Tristan’s grasp
Tristan slammed Ol against the wall two more times rapidly “wouldn’t I?” he roared
“Y-yes” Ol finally whispered and started to cry
When Tristan saw what his anger had caused he gathered Ol in his arms instead and hugged him “I am sorry, I am so, so sorry”
“Don’t be” Ol whispered and buried his face in Tristan’s neck “I slapped you”
“That does not give me the right to do what I just did” Tristan led led and stoke Ol’s hair
“If I could just behave, he wouldn’t get annoyed” Ol whispered with a faint smile and broke off the hug with Tristan looking up at his former lover “this is a bad idea Tris, I should go”
“No, you should stay here, and let me pamper you some” Tristan said with a sad smile, knowing that he would watch Ol walk out that door, loosing his heart’s desire to the mercy of that damned darkelf once more.
Ol shook his head and smiled “no Tris, I should leave” he took a deep breath “I am sorry I took it too far, I should not have come here at all”
“Yes you should kitten” Tristan said, feeling tears threatening in the corners of his eyes “and you should stay” he paused and took Ol’s slim hand “please stay”
The elf looked sad, and shook his head
“At least stay until I can... rescue your beloved then” Tristan whispered and blinked away a tear
Ol looked thoughtful, but nodded “alright”
********************************
Ol had left to meet up with Godiva, trying to find out about if they could get into the gladiator club. And now Tristan was sitting alone in his apartment, even more determined to find a way to kill off Amdir. He looked in his books, and suddenly stumbled across where he had ripped out that page with the gargoyle, he had never bothered to read what it said, but as he read on his curiosity was peaked, apparently it was a description of a arcane ritual, where the cultists had summoned this beast.
“You are just what I need my friend” he mumbled, and recalled seeing a gargoyle fight “indeed that shit for brains darkelf d ned never stand a chance”
He looked over the ritual and nodded “indeed, yes” he whispered but fell silent and rested his head in his hands, what should he offer the gargoyle? He was pretty sure he would not do it for free.
He shook his head and went to the kitchen to make himself more coffee while tring to come up with what he would do once the gargoyle was there.

A/N – I am aware its a short chapter LOL, but either it was to be super short, or insanely long LOL. Ayere the gargoyle belongs to Morcalivan *hugs baby* thank you for letting me use (or abuse) him LOL
