“You know what I hate the most,” Emily shouted as she threw her door close, Rebecca slid her foot in and prevented the door from closing and follow Emily in.

Emily looked back and glared, “I swear your such a prick.”

“I think you enjoy being mad at me,” Rebecca was unbuttoning the top buttons of her shirt.

Emily flipped her off and kept walking to her room, all while undoing her bra under her shirt.

“See what I mean,” Rebecca sat on the bed and bent over to undo her shoes. Emily just stared at her for a moment. All the meanwhile her own hands were undoing her clothes.

“Are you even going to stay tonight?” Emily asked. Her skirt and underwear laid around her ankles, she stepped out from them and walked closer to Rebecca who was taking her shirt off and was in the process of taking her bra off.

Emily pushed her and Rebecca let herself fall backwards on the bed. Rebecca smiled and shook her head.

“See you arrogant prick, I don't know why I keep opening my door to you.” Emily pinched Rebecca's nipple hard and Rebecca groaned as she flipped them over. She stood up to take her pants off, Emily ran her hands up and down her stomach, she still was baffled at what she was doing.

'How simple,' she thought, how easily had they fallen into a routine. Every Friday Rebecca would show up close to eight at night and how easily they fucked all night until the wee hours of the morning.

“What I hate the most, “ Emily continue as Rebecca straddle her and nuzzle her neck.

“hmm,” Rebecca inquired as her mouth was busy tasting the nooks and crooks of Emily's neck.

“Why the fuck you don't stay the night, Some times I feel like a prostitute.” She admitted her hands roaming over Rebecca's back, up to her hair where she entwined her fingers in and pulled causing Rebecca to look up.

“Because-,” Rebecca started as Emily kissed her and bit her lower lip.

“Shut up,” she commanded.

“Crap,” Emily mumbled as she desperately looked into her purse and could not find her wallet.

'no, no ,no,' she panic mentally, she had left her wallet at home. She took a deep breath defeated as she turned around ready to leave the coffee house.

“Forgot your money?” Emily looked up to see a woman smiling at her. Taller than her but still shorter than Rebecca. Emily closed her eyes, 'gah stop comparing,' it was a habit she had fallen into.

Her blue eyes dance wildly as she waited for Emily to reply, Emily could visibly see she was trying to have a witty remark ready to keep the conversation going.

“Yeah, I left the house in a hurry didn't have a chance to make coffee.” Emily smiled as she glanced at the clock in the coffee house. Yup late.

“Well lucky for me for me I got to meet you.” she smiled as she extended her coffee out.

“You seem in a hurry, here take it, I promise I haven't sipped it yet.”

Emily raised her hand ready to decline, “I insist, it's a Monday Every one needs all the help they can get to get through a Monday.”

Emily smiled and couldn't help but nod, “All right this one time I'll take it, but next time I'll buy you one.”

The woman smiled as her eyes lit up and she gasped, “How rude of me,” she extended her hand once again, “ I'm Sarah,”

Emily shook her hand, so soft she thought as she let her hand linger.

“Emily, but if you don't mind I have to go.”

“I hope I see you again,” Sarah inquired as Emily walked backward still enthralled by this woman.

“If I forget to set my coffee maker,” Emily smiled and walked out.

“You seem to be in an extraordinary mood.” Rachel asked while stealing Emily's cup and sipping it.

“Ohhh,” Rachel raised an eyebrow, “Two sugars and ummm hint of cinnamon. I didn't take you for one of those who experimented with their coffee.”

“One how the fuck do you know what's in it and Two I don't, I mean this morning-How the fuck do you know what's in it?” Emily was amazed by that uncanny gift.

“I learn from a certain someone,” Rachel smiled raising an eyebrow.

“What ever,” Emily booted her computer up and unlocked her file cabinets.

“So what's happened this morning?” Rachel asked taking a couple of more sip from the warm drink and returned it.

“I met someone,” Emily blurted out, she hadn't realized how excited she felt about that. Her heart was racing, she felt a like a gossiping school girl.

“Wait what?”

“I know at a coffee house-,”

“You met someone at the coffee house and this is their coffee.”

Emily stopped smiling, “How the hell-,” Emily shook her head and gave Rachel a look of disgust.

“Rachel you freak me out half of the time, get the hell out. Go shoo shoo.” Rachel flipped her off and heard a cough from one of their other co-workers who was giving them dirty looks.

“Oh sorry Harry I meant this,” Rachel extended two fingers, “I forget Emily like two instead of one.”

'Harry' rolled his eyes and walked away and a blushing Emily flipped her off with both hands.

'fucking Rachel,' Emily mumbled softly, she drank the rest of her coffee trying to decipher the taste. Yeah she tasted something off and different but there was no way in hell she could have guess what it was.

“Hi,” Rebecca looked up from her cellphone, to meet dark caramel eyes.

“Can I help you?” Rebecca offered looking around, she would have sworn the front door was close, the shop was closed for the day since she was setting up at network for the cash registers.

“Yeah I was wondering how much it cost to get a diagnostic on my car.” Rebecca smiled and clapped her hands together.

“Well...” Rebecca smirked she had no idea how to tell this woman that she didn't work for the shop.

The younger woman cocked her head to side, “What's so amusing, was my excuse to flawed.”

“flaw?” By now Rebecca was standing up straight and crossed her arms over her chest.

“You've been working here since Saturday, I had to wait till the store was open.”

“oooh,” Rebecca nodded and raise an eyebrow, “Now talk about being brash.”

“So...” Thankfully Tess had returned with their lunch and saved Rebecca.

“Oh Hello Can I help you?” Tess interrupted the duo, she disliked leaving Rebecca alone with any woman, 'she would fuck her in plain sight and there goes our reputation. Out the fucking window.'

The younger woman smiled disappointingly at the interrupting.

“I was wondering how much a diagnostic was.”

“Oh I'm sorry but we don't work here, we're setting up a network for the shop. They'll be open again tomorrow.”

“Oh right,” she nodded and licked her lips, “Thank you,”

Rebecca was dumbfounded by the sudden events.

Sh turned and walked away and Rebecca could not help but stare. Once gone, Tess punched her in the arm.

“You pig,”

“What?” Rebecca once again sat at the front desk and continue typing.

“would you really have fucked her here?” Tess asked while taking her lunch out of the bag.

“Of course not, sometimes you don't give me enough credit.” Rebecca extended her hand out.

“get it yourself,” Tess said through a mouthful.

“Gee what you've never been so bothered when I do shit like this, and for the record she came after me.”

“What about Emily?”

“What about her?”

They both accommodate themselves around the desk with their food and drinks.

“I mean,” Tess finished her bite and washed it down with some soda.

“I mean aren't you guys like monogamous.”

“Oh that, well we never spoke about it. So no.”

“ew that sick and gross and stupid.” Tess frowned and threw a ball up napkin at Rebecca's head.

“what makes you think I'm sleeping around.” Rebecca threw the wadded paper back. Tess moved her head and avoided the harmless projectile.

“You aren't?”

“Oh come on! what the fuck Tess, No I'm not running to bar or parks to go meet a random girl every night and taking them home.”

“You never take anyone home.” Rebecca flipped her off.

“No thank you.”

“Shit Tess, I'm not what I was in college. Every one seems to forget that.”

“You still have that disposition that you don't want to, 'be tied down.'” Rebecca took a deep breath and let her head fall.

“You suck,” she retorted shoving the rest of her meal into the brown paper bag it came in. She had lost her appetite.

“Ok ok I'm sorry, but if 'you've changed,' why don't you and Emily you know.”

“Because-,” Rebecca rested her head on the palm of her hand. She thought about it.

What? What exactly prevented them from taking it one step further, of course her. She didn't want a relationship. Yet the more she thought about it. The more she realized she didn't like the idea of Emily sleeping with anyone else but her.

“You know what?” Tess interrupted her thoughts, “I would like to get home early today. Mike and I have reservations at L'amour tonight.

Rebecca chuckled, “Have some red wine on me.”
