I am your passenger
Chapter 8 - I am your Passenger.
As promised the next night Ol had dressed Godiva up in a cloak with a hood, and with nervous moves the elf hasted them through corridors and staircases, Godiva lost all sense of direction. Until they suddenly stopped and he heard Ol knock a door, when the door opened he was quickly guided inside. “Did anyone see you?” a voice said
“No, I don’t think so” Ol said
When the hood was pulled down, he looked directly into two ember colored eyes, and the man in front of him smiled “welcome Godiva, I am Seth, your fathers cousin” he gestured over towards a smaller pale being sitting in a couch “this is Vishnu”
As Vishnu smiled Godiva could see his fangs, and his fingernails looked more like claws than nails, “hello there Godiva” Vishnu said waving from the couch.
“Come sit” Seth said guiding Godiva towards the couch, and Ol followed, seating himself next to Vishnu. “You really do look like Tris when he was younger” the man smiled brightly.
Godiva suddenly regained his voice “are you an... An angel too?”
Seth laughed a loud roaring laughter, and mussed Godiva’s hair “yes little one”
Godiva blushed “oh”
“You must send my love to your father when you see him” Seth smiled “I haven’t seen him, for a long time, not since I went here”
Godiva had always been annoyed that Tristan would never talk of his own youth, and so Godiva scooted a little closer to the large smiling angel “Uncle Seth? Tell me of him, he wont tell me anything”
“Tris” Seth said and reached for his coffee cup “if he wont tell you he must have his reasons, but I can tell you that he was a magnificent angel, in the years he was a general for the heavenly morning light, he was truly stunning envied by all for his beauty and just” Seth grinned as Godiva’s eyes were as wide as teacups “oh yes little Godiva, there were not the soul east of Eden who did not wonder what his arms would feel like wrapped around them, but Tris only loved one...”
“Seth” Ol said shaking his head
Seth nodded back “your father was an magnificent angel, it saddened me greatly when I heard of his fall”
“But.. You, if you are an angel, what are you doing here?” Godiva said, covering his mouth as he realised how rude he were.
“That is a just question little one, Vishnu, he is the reason I am here” Seth smiled a doting smile to the creature on the other side of the low round table.
Godiva looked at the two lovers, and then frowned “but, why aren’t you in heaven if you are an angel?”
Seth’s face darkened, and he turned to Godiva “my tale is long and filled with sorrow, but since you share my bloodline, it is but fair that you know” the angel took another sip of his coffee “I never fell from grace like Tristan, I was born as a product of a sin, a sin so great that the almighty creator slew my parents and marked me with these” he pointed to his eyes. “You see my parents were brother and sister, my father whom is your grandfathers brother, forced himself on his sister, delirious from lust. She was impregnated and I was the babe. God’s lifeguards slew my father to the ground right away after my birth, and my mother tried to linger, but she could not live with the shame, being reminded everyday of her misfortune, looking at my eyes and the mark of Gomorrah” reaching for his cigarettes Seth sighed “she killed herself, denying herself of her eternal soul, because she couldn\'t bear to look at her son”
Tears had welled up in Godiva’s eyes, and even if he wanted to express his compassion his voice didn’t work.
“Then I was given a chance, your father came to my rescue, saying that giving me a sword and exiling me would be a fair judgement” Seth inhaled, and exhaled smoke slowly trough his nostrils “he knew that they would kill me, and this way I would have a chance, however slim of survival, so they branded me a fallen and set me loose in the wastelands” Seth reached out and wiped a tear from Godiva’s cheek “Tris was the one to take me out there, he wept as I walked away, but then” Seth’s eyes lit up “after months, and I almost gave up, I was thinking of thrusting the sword into myself to end my misery, then I came upon a patrol from the cities, and then I saw one of the soldiers, the most beautiful being I had ever seen, he far surpassed any arch angel in glory, so I stayed and he made me his spouse”
“Vishnu” Godiva whispered
“Aye Vishnu” Seth repeated.
“You look tired Godiva” Ol said, “You should rest”
Vishnu got up from the couch “I will make you a soft bed” and then he walked off
“Tomorrow we will talk more, now sleep well young Godiva” Seth said. Godiva nodded and left the couch, walking after Vishnu.
_______________
It was late and Godiva couldn\'t sleep, he had never imagined he would have family here, actually then discovering all this only made him more curious of what it was Tristan was hiding, because there seemed to be a hell of a lot blanks. He had never imagined, all his childhood Tristan had just been somebody who stopped by now and then, giving him a present and a long lingering embrace. It was not until Peaches herself had been drunk she had revealed that the silverhaired man was his father, actually Godiva had suspected it, but all this.. Tristan was not just somebody, he was an enigma. He closed his eyes, and focused on the voices that came from the other side of the room, as the others thought him asleep.
“You look worn,” Seth said rubbing Ol’s shoulders
“I am, this has been a nightmare week” the elf sighed relaxing against Seth, melting under the backrub. “But now that you and Vishnu are back, we can get him home”
“Your bruises are almost gone,” Vishnu said, leaning up against the wall, watching the elf and his beloved.
Ol laughed hollowly “my curse really” he said
“I heard Lord Nurreal lost his temper” Vishnu said sipping a glass of wine “you know better than to anger the young lord”
Ol sighed “its true Vishnu, but I.. I couldn\'t concentrate on my task, my mind kept reminding me that young innocent Godiva will give his heart and soul, not to mention body to Lord Nurreal, and... No, Vishnu it is wrong. He should not have to endure something like.. That”
“Maybe Lord Nurreal will treat young Godiva differently?” Seth said. “Maybe even the young demon lord is able of loving another creature”
Ol rested his head on Seth’s shoulder “maybe, and maybe not. Will you really stake the soul of Tristan’s youngest son on this theory?” the elf sighed
“I honestly don’t know what is the right thing to do, I will speak more with Godiva in the morning” Seth said, patting Ol’s shoulders indicating the backrub was over.
The elf turned to Seth, “but what if Nurreal harms Godiva, I would never forgive myself”
Seth seemed to think it over for a while; reaching for Vishnu’s wineglass “he travelled this far, right? It would be cruel to deny him his goal” Seth shrugged “besides, he is of my bloodline, and we are not exactly known for giving up easily”
Vishnu grabbed Ol’s hair and started to braid it, “Apart from that, Bernhard got back to the tower today, he was personally leading the campaign that I also returned with this evening” Ol sighed and nodded slowly “And Lord Bernhard will know by now, that you upset Lord Nurreal yesterday, so if I were you, I would hurry there, and not wait to be sent for”
“You are right, I really should.. Be an obedient pet,” Ol whispered with badly hidden anger in his voice.
Seth enfolded the elf in a tight hug “come tomorrow, and I promise you I have a plan” he kissed Ol on the forehead “be strong” letting go of Ol, Seth looked at Vishnu who had opened the door to the corridor. Ol didn’t say anything, he just took a deep breath and grinded his teeth, swiftly leaving the cosy room.
Vishnu closed the door behind him, “poor elf, Lord Bernhard will tear him apart for fun” seeing Seth’s worried eyes Vishnu walked over to his spouse “I didn’t have the heart to tell him that the campaign failed, Lord Bernhard is furious, and he will not be lenient to Ol angering Lord Nurreal”
“It was right not to tell him, he would have been too frightened to go” Seth said, “that poor elf indeed, trapped here. He should be with his kin, locked in the hidden stronghold of the white island”
Vishnu nodded before he melted against his beloved’s chest “No, poor me.” he whined “I have been away from you for months, forced to feed on livestock and slaves” he kissed Seth’s throat, collarbone and shoulder. “I missed you” Seth gasped as Vishnu scraped his sharp fangs across the skin of his shoulder. “Seth” Vishnu whispered seductively “will you take the kid to see Lord Nurreal?”
“Yes” Seth moaned softly closing his eyes as his lovers hand found its way down under the waistline of his pants.
“That will be dangerous”
“Mmm” Seth answered, purring like a large cat as his pants dropped to the floor, leaning forth he grabbed a hold of the windowsill with one hand, and bit down on the other, not to make so much noise so Godiva would wake, feeling Vishnu spread his buttocks, teasing his opening with his silk soft tongue, he could have cried of penned up desire, but it only became a muffled sound.
Godiva lay awake, watching them in the dim light, he had gotten way too much information, and information had really been what he had wanted, but now he couldn\'t tear his gaze from the angel and the vampire as they joined their bodies. He saw Seth flinch for a second as Vishnu buried his fangs in his neck, moving forcefully in and out of him, thrusting so hard that the entire table threatened to collapse. He watched as Vishnu stopped drinking, but licking the blood off that trickled from the little puncture wounds. Turning his head he whispered something into Seth’s ears, as his thrusting picked up space, Seth’s eyebrows furrowed and then he shivered in his climax, biting down on his hand so blood flowed from the corner of his mouth. Vishnu moaned hoarsely as he too reached his orgasm. Godiva felt like a pervert, peeking on his own uncle, but this creature was just such a seductive being, and Vishnu, being covered in strange linear tattoos some held numbers and symbols others did not. They somehow made a magic pair. Watching them catching their breath, one thing wouldn\'t leave his mind; he was Tristan’s youngest son. This had to mean he had siblings, why would his father keep something like this from him?
“You hurt yourself,” Vishnu said kissing Seth’s bloody hand. Seth just watched as his lover licked him clean of blood, “you do realise how dangerous it can be to take that kid to Nurreal, don’t you?”
Seth nodded “Vishnu, my love.. I owe his father my life, the least I can do is to guard his children with my life if necessary, and we all know that little Godiva needs my help now, I cannot let him or Tristan down”
“You are right” Vishnu whispered, gently guiding Seth to the bed, laying down on it he pulled the angel with him wrapping his thin limbs around him. “If I in any way can help him, I will”
A chilling scream split the air, and Seth held his breath “oh no”
Vishnu held his beloved tighter “Don’t worry so much, I am sure he will be fine”
When he could hear Seth and Vishnu slept, Godiva’s head reeled, none of this made sense, Nurreal weren’t evil, and not the Nurreal he knew. And this brother business, he had to find out more of that. Sleep eventually claimed him, and he had restless dreams of the elf.

Next morning Godiva was woken by Seth who gently shook him “coffee?” he asked, handing him a hot cup.
“Thank you” Godiva said yawning, sitting up. Looking about he saw only Seth “where is Vishnu?”
“Ah, he had to rally up something with some other demons, something about the campaign they just went on, it didn’t go as they expected” Seth said, standing up, “did you sleep well?” the amber eyed angel asked, smiling a little embarrassed.
“Like a rock” Godiva answered, smiling back to his uncle. He could have laughed at the visible relief on Seth’s face.
A knock on the door broke the strange mood, and as Seth opened the door, Godiva couldn\'t see whom he buried in an embrace, but as he took two steps forward he could see it was Ol. The elf was hid under a hood, obscured in darkness, but Godiva couldn\'t hide a gasp as Ol entered the sunfilled room, and let his hood fall, his one eye was black and swollen so it was completely shut. And his lip was cracked, so was his eyebrow, “don’t look like that Godiva” Ol said with a odd woollen voice “I still have all my teeth, I will be back to normal within days” he attempted a smile, but it looked more like a hideous grimace.
“Let me look at your hand” Seth said, sitting down at the dining table, taking Ol’s bandaged hand in his probing it gently.
“Fuck! That hurts Seth” the elf whined.
“Your wrist is completely crushed” Seth said with a frown “and two fingers are broken”
“Yea” Ol said taking a deep breath “I would not have come was it not that I carry a message from Lord Nurreal” he looked at Godiva “I would have spared you the sight of this, if I could, but Lord Bernhard asked me to personally see to it that I got this message to you, he wants to see you and Seth, along with lord Nurreal at noon in the whispering chamber” he turned to Seth “you know where that is right?”
“I do” Seth said, and for once his smile was completely gone, not only from his mouth, but also from his eyes. “Lord Bernhard?” he whispered, “how did he know?”
“He has spies all over Seth, you know that, maybe someone did see us coming here” Ol said, keeping his gaze to the ground.
“It was you, wasn’t it?” Godiva said leaning in over the table some, to try and catch the elusive gaze of the injured elf.
Ol’s shoulders shivered, and Godiva could see tears fall on the table, “yes” the elf whispered, barely audible “I didn’t know what else to do, forgive me Godiva, I failed as your guardian”
“That scream” Godiva said, and looked up at Seth, “it was Ol”
Seth wrapped an arm around Ol’s shoulders, “You had no choice,” he whispered “Lord Bernhard would have killed you had you lied”
“H...he made me ho...hold out my hand and wait...” Ol sobbed “I am so, so sorry, I really tried, I was afraid, and because of my cowardice heart, you are in danger in my place Seth,” the elf looked up, “and I don’t know if he will summon Vishnu as well”
“Don’t worry my friend, we knew what we did when we agreed that Godiva could stay here” Seth sighed, “Did he say what he wanted?”
“No” Ol said. Seth could see the lie flash across the fair elfs distorted features. “Seth, do you by any chance have a cigarette you can spare?”
“And a drink?” the angel asked, Ol nodded. And Seth knew this was bad, very bad... whatever Bernhard wanted them, it was bad enough to frighten the elf to his core.
Seth handed Ol the drink and the cigarette, grabbing his black leather mail, clasping the large iron clasps, before he braided his jet black hair into a plait. “Stay here Ol” he said, trying to control his upcoming panic “I will return shortly”
Ol looked up at Seth and entwined his fingers on his good hand with Seth’s “be safe, and do for Godiva what I could not”
“I will” Seth let go of Ol’s hand and reached for Godiva, “come lets go see what Lord Bernhard wants with us”
Godiva could feel Seth’s fear seeping through his pores of the skin, and his clammy hand held on a little too tight to Godiva’s. He wanted to ask why Seth was so scared, but seeing this magnificent angel battling his panic, Godiva decided not to speak.
