The Big Bad Wolf

Wow. Times flys away when you're at school.. A couple of chapters are coming up to make up for the long wait.
Sorry. The pack gets a visit and Celio's a jerk...


Chapter 8

When Pen woke up the next day he had a little dog snuggled up to him, pressing against his side with an arm thrown over his stomach. He smiled before his hand started to caress Las head which created a beautiful whine from the dog. He thought back at yesterday evening and couldn’t help the shiver that went through his body. That had been damn good! Even if Las had been so nervous and gripped a little too tight for his liking the outcome hadn’t been that bad.
He carefully pulled Las closer and hugged him to his chest. He could feel Las waking up and started to lick his cheek and nuzzling his head.

Feels good. Feels really good. Las slowly opened his eyes but had to quickly close one as a tongue swept over it.

“Pen.”

Pen looked down, hearing Las murmur his name.

“What? Did I wake you up?”

“Yes…”

“Heh, sorry. Just go back to sleep.”

“No, I’m awake now.”

Las signed and slowly eased himself up, lying on Pens’ chest with his arms crossed under his chin.

“Sorry.”

“You’ve already said that. Now stop it.” Las smiled gently and then nuzzled his cheek before starting to get up. A hand grabbed his arm and pulled him back down though.

“Who said that you could get up?”

“Well, I thought that I should go and get something to eat but…”

“That can wait; I want to sleep in with you.”

“You’ve got to be the laziest alpha I’ve met.”

“Yeah, I you’ve met… two?”

“Three!”

“Oh really?”

“Yes really, he was the-”

“Alpha Penullus!”

They both looked up to see Celio stand in the exit, panting slightly.

“What?”

“We found a dog sneaking around just inside our border.”

Las and Pen looked at each other and then quickly jump up, starting to search for some clothes that they could wear. Pen just grabbed a pair of blue, tight pants while Las found the green robe he had gotten before. They looked at each other and then Pen put an arm around his waist, smiling, before they started to walk outside.

“Let me go, damn it!”

Las perked up when he heard the shouts, trying to figure out who it could be.

“Shut up, filthy dog.”

Both Pen and Las scowled when they heard Rika shout and they quickened their steps.

“You shut up Rika.”

Rika looked up and saw alpha Pen and whore Las coming around a hut.

“Las!”

“Tan?! What are you doing here?!”

“Weeeell, funny story actually. You know Sillie? Lovely female that we used to hate and despise?”

“Yes?”

“It all started one day when me and dad was out hunting we were called back-”

“Get to the point Tan.”

“Alpha Gren tried to force me to mate with Sillie.”

“What?”

“She is pregnant and she claimed that it was mine.”

“Tan!” Las had a horrified expression on his face, while all the wolves around was standing around wondering why they were standing around.

“I didn’t do it! I would never her and you know it!”

“Then who…?”

“Some elder dog, think his name was Fleck or something…”

“Why say that it was you?”

“Because I’m hot?”

“Tan.”

“Fine, alpha Gren wants her to mate with a strong, young male and I was the only choice…”

“How did you get away?”

“Well, dad got me out of the village and then I just ran.”

Cough cough.

Las and Tan looked up, seeing Pen staring at them. Celio could only snicker. Trust the alpha to get jealous…

“Las, who is he?”

“Pen, that one with silver and grey colored hair is Tan. Tan this is Penullus, alpha of this pack.”

“You were the one to deliver the letter. YOU WERE THE ALPHA?!”

Both Pen and Celio looked impressed that he remembered that.

“Pen, let me untie him.”

Pen nodded but then SOMEONE decided to go against it.

“Alpha, you can’t! For all we know he could be a spy!”

“Rika, he’s not even an adult. He’s Las best friend and he’s small. Where do you see a threat?”

“But-”

“Rika, let me be his personal guard. I wouldn’t mind watching him closely for a couple of days.”

Las gave Celio a suspicious look but agreed. Everything to let Tan up.
Celio walked up to Tan and quickly sliced the ropes tying him with a knife. Tan smiled at him and took his hand when it was offered to him. Celio helped him up and gave the hand an extra squeeze before he let him go.

“Come on Tan, I want to show you around.”

“Wait a minute Las.”

They turned to look at Pen and he held his hand out to Tan.

“Welcome to the pack.”

Tan smiled and eagerly shook the hand before Las dragged him away to show off the village. He let Tan meet Em who seemed to like Tan even more. Maybe because they shared same green eyes. Or maybe because he kissed her hand when she held it out. She blushed and Sabel growled. But then they all just laughed it off and Pen dragged Tan with him to meet Doll and several other wolves. When the cubs heard that he too, like Pen, could shift they forced him to change. Tan just shrugged and then suddenly there was a big, dark grey dog standing there. He was just as big as a wolf and had warm green eyes. His tongue was hanging outside his mouth, his tail was wagging and he gave a happy yelp making the cubs squeak in delight. They chased him around for a couple of minutes before Las showed him his and Pens hut. They sat down and started to talk.

“So, what happened after… you know.”

“Well, me and dad were really mad and alpha Gren and tried to talk to him, but he wouldn’t listen. Many felt sorry for you but then again they were glad that it was you and not them. Dad was really mad and called them cowards.”

Las smiled, thinking about Naure and his famous temper.

“So that’s probably why you had to mate Sillie, right?”

“Yeah, dad thought so too. That’s why he helped me I guess. To get some revenge out, but I’m worried. I mean, what if they kill him or-”

“Hey, hey! Don’t worry. Naure is the strongest fighter there is and we’ll just have to trust him. Is he coming here?”

“He said he would come, maybe. But he’s not too young and he doesn’t have only enemies there.”

“Then we can only hope and wait, right?”

“Right…”

Las and Tan fell quiet, not knowing what to say. Luckily Pen and Celio walked inside, all smirks and smiles.

“So, got to see our awesome village? All of it?”

“Yeah, I got to see the awesome village. It’s not too bad.”

“Watch it kid, you’re sitting in the same room as the alpha.”

“I’m not a kid! I’m one of the best fighters in our pack!”

“Well, you’re not in your pack right now so-”

“Celio!”

Tan stared at Celio, then let his gaze drop.

“Guess I wasn’t welcomed here either…”

Before any of the others could react he was up and out from the hut, leaving the two wolves shocked and one dog glaring daggers at them.

“Nice Celio, really nice of you. Jerk!”

Las quickly ran out after Tan, leaving the two stunned wolves.
